Beloved Father, what is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou visited him?(Ps 8:4). You made us thou in your image but with sand. How the Lord hate the proud and despised the haughty. Our days are numbered before you, Lord teach us to number our days right that we get a heart of wisdom (Ps 90:12)

Help us to fear You and give us a heart to forgive all that  trespass against us. help us Lord to fear your Holy Name. Amen!

Beloved, we will be considering today, what happen when your prayers are answered. Put in another way, how do handle victory especially when it is an answer to your prayers. Can help you to answer this question. Do you take a break or a long vacation as most of us do or do you quickly align yourself to Your Maker Who give you victory.

Someone still did not understand what am writing or trying to communicate. Not to worry, just fellow me as we consider the message below what Jesus our role model did each time He hits the victory bar:

Praying after the High Points

After He said good-bye to them, He went away to the mountain to pray.—Mark 6:46

What do you do after a spiritual victory? Where do you go after reaching a high point in your Christian life? Jesus went to pray. Jesus had just fed a multitude with only five loaves of bread and two fish (Mark 6:34–44). If there were ever a time to relax and bask in the glow of God’s power it should have been then. Instead, Jesus climbed a mountain to pray. When Jesus prayed, the Father clearly revealed His will and His ways to His Son. It eventually dawned on Jesus’ disciples that Jesus prepared for every major decision and difficult challenge with a time of prayer (Luke 11:1).

As Jesus prayed on the mountain that day, the Father knew His Son was about to face a fierce storm (Mark 6:48). The disciples raced headlong into the tempest unprepared, but Jesus entered the storm after communing with His Father in prayer. The Father had prepared Jesus for what was coming, and Jesus met the crisis with all the power of God.

It is tempting to relax after a spiritual victory, but a crisis could follow at any time. You must stand guard over your high points. It is at these times when you experience God mightily that you should immediately get alone to pray. Then you will not be caught unprepared when trials come. Have you experienced a spiritual victory? Follow your Lord’s example and go immediately to a place of prayer so the Father can prepare you for what is coming.

Are you surprised at the practical step to fellow when you have you think you are making waves in your area of calling, it is not a time to call for a feast but a time to humble yourself and seek God’s presence in the event yet to come, better still the Lord will unfold to you His future plans. Don’t forget He is the one that blesses us with all spiritual blessings:

“Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings.” Ephesians 1:3

All the goodness of the past, the present, and the future, Christ bestows upon His people. In the mysterious ages of the past the Lord Jesus was His Father’s first elect, and in His election He gave us an interest, for we were chosen in Him from before the foundation of the world. He had from all eternity the prerogatives of Sonship, as His Father’s only-begotten and well-beloved Son, and He has, in the riches of His grace, by adoption and regeneration, elevated us to sonship also, so that to us He has given “power to become the sons of God.”

The eternal covenant, based upon suretiship and confirmed by oath, is ours, for our strong consolation and security. In the everlasting settlements of predestinating wisdom and omnipotent decree, the eye of the Lord Jesus was ever fixed on us; and we may rest assured that in the whole roll of destiny there is not a line which militates against the interests of His redeemed. The great betrothal of the Prince of Glory is ours, for it is to us that He is affianced, as the sacred nuptials shall ere long declare to an assembled universe.

The marvellous incarnation of the God of heaven, with all the amazing condescension and humiliation which attended it, is ours. The bloody sweat, the scourge, the cross, are ours for ever. Whatever blissful consequences flow from perfect obedience, finished atonement, resurrection, ascension, or intercession, all are ours by His own gift. Upon His breastplate he is now bearing our names; and in His authoritative pleadings at the throne He remembers our persons and pleads our cause.

His dominion over principalities and powers, and His absolute majesty in heaven, He employs for the benefit of them who trust in Him. His high estate is as much at our service as was His condition of abasement. He who gave Himself for us in the depths of woe and death, doth not withdraw the grant now that He is enthroned in the highest heavens.

What a blessed moment for every child of God. When  we are assured by the scripture that our prayers has not only be answered but also all the heavenly blessings that the Lord has made available for our take. Does it not call for celebration? That is the reward of our Sonship in the kingdom represent. As we prayer and receives answers to our prayer, may we humble ourselves before God to be blessed by Him.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
