What shall I say unto the Lord, all I have to say is Thank You Lord. what shall say unto the Lord, all I have to say is thank You Lord. thank You Lord, thank You Lord, all I have to say is thank You Lord.// You are worthy O Lord! You are worthy O Lord!//  I just want to say Baba ooo ese ooo, I just want to say Baba ooh ese.

Father we thank You we blessed Your Holy Name. Father we adore Thee, we lift you up above every other God. Great are you Lord, Who is like unto Thee. Eternal Rock of Ages, we bow before You, we adore You because You are God. Faithful is Your Name forever and ever in Jesus Name.

Arise O God! And be God indeed unto us. You are God, Thank You for answers to prayers, what can we do without You. You delivery us from all evil and make a way where there seems to be no way. Wonderful Redeemer, we praise You.

Beloved, good morning, how are you doing? I hope you prayed as we discussed yesterday. Answers will come to that man/woman that prayed. So do not neglect the place of prayer no matter what schedule you operate. We have long prayers, we have short prayers like the one we shared yesterday “Help Lord.” short put powerful.

Beloved, our sufficiency is in God, do you believe that? (2Cor 3:5). We have no power of our own but God is our all in all. Praise God! We trust not in chariots nor horses but our trust is in the Name of the Lord Who made heaven and earth. He will not fail nor forsake us when we put our trust in Him.

Where is your trust? Just by the way of asking. Are you obeying and doing the will of God at cost? Will you stand in faith come what may? These and many more you will be encountering as you go through today’s ministration.

Principle or Expediency which will you choose when the chips are down?  Before now I worked in an industry where sharp practices are the order of the day but as a child of God, I took a decision to uphold my integrity no matter what it might cost. I thank God today, because looking back I have nothing to restitute for as would have demanded of me considering my present engagement in the spreading the Goodnews of our Lord Jesus.

To some it may sound strange to some others looks like foolishness. Don’t forget our Tuesday ministration topic “Obeying God May Seem Illogical And Prove To Be Costly.” The goodnews is you will have peace that is from above. The peace of God that passeth all understanding.

Beloved, today’s topic is asking a question if you are face with a survival situation at stake which will you choose “Principle or Expediency?”

Come along with me to discover more:

Principle Or Expediency?

Which do you choose when your survival is at stake: Principle or Expediency?

Expediency… of course! Isn’t survival the name of the game? Few of us, after all, have the “gift” of martyrdom!

Only a fool would die for a principle… Unless he had grasped the fact that a holy God will ultimately hold him accountable for his actions:

Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know thatGod will bring you to judgment.” (Ecclesiastes 11:9b)

The other evening my wife and I were interacting with a couple whose business is in a free fall. As we discussed options to rescue their company, it became apparent that without batting an eye they had already chosen a path for survival that was in clear violation of Biblical values.

Patently, they had opted for EXPEDIENCY OVER PRINCIPLE.

In reflecting on this couple’s unwillingness to trust God in a time of crisis, I was reminded of Christ’s question:

When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8b)

I wonder.

Because, when push comes to shove, only a man with a deep abiding faith in God and His promises would even consider choosing PRINCIPLE OVER EXPEDIENCY.

Daniel was one such man, as he chose to live a Biblically principled life amidst unprincipled, hostile pagans. Often his decisions were made at great personal risk:

The administrators and the satraps (governors) tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.” (Daniel 6:4)

Like Daniel, we are confronted daily with choices between PRINCIPLE OR EXPEDIENCY.

How we choose will be determined by whom we trust and fear the most:

God or man.

Beloved, in whom is your trust? God or man? However, the second ministration will instruct us on what happens when you choose to put your trust in God.  When you choose Principle over Expediency. Let read further:

“That those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Hebrews 12:27

We have many things in our possession at the present moment which can be shaken, and it ill becomes a Christian man to set much store by them, for there is nothing stable beneath these rolling skies; change is written upon all things.

Yet, we have certain “things which cannot be shaken,” and I invite you today to think of them, that if the things which can be shaken should all be taken away, you may derive real comfort from the things that cannot be shaken, which will remain. Whatever your losses have been, or may be, you enjoy present salvation.

You are standing at the foot of His cross, trusting alone in the merit of Jesus’ precious blood, and no rise or fall of the markets can interfere with your salvation in Him; no breaking of banks, no failures and bankruptcies can touch that. Then you are a child of God today. God is your Father.

No change of circumstances can ever rob you of that. Although by losses brought to poverty, and stripped bare, you can say, “He is my Father still. In my Father’s house are many mansions; therefore will I not be troubled.” You have another permanent blessing, namely, the love of Jesus Christ. He who is God and Man loves you with all the strength of His affectionate nature—nothing can affect that.

The fig tree may not blossom, and the flocks may cease from the field, it matters not to the man who can sing, “My Beloved is mine, and I am His.” Our best portion and richest heritage we cannot lose. Whatever troubles come, let us play the man; let us show that we are not such little children as to be cast down by what may happen in this poor fleeting state of time.

Our country is Immanuel’s land, our hope is above the sky, and therefore, calm as the summer’s ocean; we will see the wreck of everything earthborn, and yet rejoice in the God of our salvation.

Yes! we will see the wreck of everything earthborn, and yet rejoice in the God of our salvation. Someone is save now! Praise God! Souls are drawn into the kingdom.

We will be glad and rejoice in the Lord our Saviour. Praise the Name of the Lord! Alleluia!!!!!!!!

The Lord will give us cause to rejoice in Jesus Name. our cup will overflow with His goodness and mercies. Praise God!

Let us fight the good fight of faith and also walk as children of light. (1 Tim 6:12, Eph 5:8, Jas 5:8, Ps 105:43-45)

Remain blessed in the Lord.
