He is able abundantly able to deliver and to save. He is able abundantly able to deliver those who trust in Him. Worthy, You are Worthy, King of Kings, Lord of lords You are Worthy 2x. Holy Spirit move me now, make my life whole again, Spirit move over me, Spirit move over me.

Gracious Father, we come before Your Throne to honour Your Holy Name, to bless You, to worship You to adore You forever and ever. Thank You for the completion of another week in You. Thank You for upholding us in You (Ezek 20:41). We are grateful, we blessed Your Holy Name. Everything You made is by Your power and that power is in the third person of Trinity –Holy Spirit. Father, give us Your Spirit to make us whole again in Jesus Name.

Beloved, asked for the release of the power of God over your life. Few days more the year is gone, but how far and fast you can go is determine by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in you. We must therefore engage the power of God to win these victories before the end of the year. And we must also testify of His goodness by the His visitation in our life and situation.

There are many acts by which you can quench the work of the Holy Spirit of God in your life. And when that happens, stagnation is inevitable; running round the circle is granted. We must therefore keep away from those works of the flesh that stifle the Spirit of God at work in us.

The truth as we will later read is that you cannot stop the work of God around the world but rather you will hinder yourself from moving forward. We are therefore admonish to stay away from any impurity and unholy things that keep away the Spirit of God:

Don’t stifle the Spirit.—1 Thessalonians 5:19

We cannot prevent God from accomplishing His work in the world around us, but we can quench His Spirit in our lives. God has given us the freedom to withstand the Holy Spirit’s activity in our lives. When we ignore, disobey, or reject what the Spirit is telling us, we quench His activity in us.

The prophet Isaiah described the result: “Hearing you will hear and not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them” (Isa. 6:9; Matt. 13:14–15).

When you sin, the Holy Spirit will convict you of your need for repentance. If you habitually ignore Him and do not repent, your heart will grow hardened to God’s Word. If the Spirit speaks to you about God’s will for you, and if you refuse to take action, a time will come when the Spirit’s voice will be muted in your life.

If you continually reject the Spirit’s promptings, a day will come when you no longer hear a word from God. If you repeatedly stifle God’s word to you so that you are no longer sensitive to His voice, He will not give you a fresh word. Be wary of resisting the voice of the Spirit in your life.

You may not always be comfortable with what the Spirit is saying to you, but His words will guide you to abundant life, unending joy, peace and love at every turn in your life. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and whomever is guided by Him must daily walk in the truth. A practical example we will see as we read on:

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.” 3John 1:3

The truth was in Gaius, and Gaius walked in a the truth. If the first had not been the case, the second could never have occurred; and if the second could not be said of him the first would have been a mere pretence. Truth must enter into the soul, penetrate and saturate it, or else it is of no value.

Doctrines held as a matter of creed are like bread in the hand, which ministers no nourishment to the frame; but doctrine accepted by the heart, is as food digested, which, by assimilation, sustains and builds up the body. In us truth must be a living force, an active energy, an indwelling reality, a part of the woof and warp of our being.

If it be in us, we cannot henceforth part with it. A man may lose his garments or his limbs, but his inward parts are vital, and cannot be torn away without absolute loss of life. A Christian can die, but he cannot deny the truth. Now it is a rule of nature that the inward affects the outward, as light shines from the centre of the lantern through the glass: when, therefore, the truth is kindled within, its brightness soon beams forth in the outward life and conversation.

It is said that the food of certain worms colours the cocoons of silk which they spin: and just so the nutriment upon which a man’s inward nature lives gives a tinge to every word and deed proceeding from him. To walk in the truth, imports a life of integrity, holiness, faithfulness, and simplicity—the natural product of those principles of truth which the gospel teaches, and which the Spirit of God enables us to receive.

We may judge of the secrets of the soul by their manifestation in the man’s conversation. Be it ours today, O gracious Spirit, to be ruled and governed by Thy divine authority, so that nothing false or sinful may reign in our hearts, lest it extend its malignant influence to our daily walk among men.

Beloved, this teaching must not be hurried over, I want you to read it meditatively, it is the core of our living. We must emulate Christ in our words and action, that is, we must live like Christ. We must live holy and bearing no grudge against one another.

Satan will paint many pictures to make you live in pains, unforgiveness and hatred but the Spirit of God will help you to let go, forgive such individual and move on in life. But if you fall prey to his (satan) schemes, you will live against the will of God and your life will not be pleasing to God Almighty.

The Lord searches the heart (Jer 17:10). We are the living epistle of Christ (2 Cor 3:3), put on the Lord Christ (Rom 13:14) and must let our conversation show forth likewise (Phil 1:27-30).

We must fight the good fight of faith as same fought by the early Christian and we must live worthy, not quenching the work of the Holy Spirit in our life. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, if the Spirit of God is laying it in your heart to bless this ministry, please do not resist Him. We need your support to continue the good works entrusted in our hand and He must surely bless you in return.

Have a nice weekend and God blessings as we mediate therein. See you next week by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord
