O God of heaven and earth, your children bow before You and we say thank You for yet another day before us, we are grateful to You Alone.

Blessed Redeemer, hallow be Thy Name, Your greater than all other gods, all powers belong to you. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord and let the living rejoice.

Beloved, when God says yes, no one can say no. and when His response is no, no one can reverse it. What He says standeth sure. He does whatever that is pleasing to Him. A man blessed by God is blessed and the reverse is of him that He caused.

When God chooses to honour a man, He does it without recourse to anyone. Blessed is he that the Lord has choose to honour. His blessings goes beyond the individual He choose to blessed into His generation yet unborn to them that fears Him so also his curse rest upon that man that fear Him not and the generations that comes after him.

The devil lures his victim into sin with assurance that it will not be discovered. It will remain concealed but that is usually not the case, it is far from the truth.  Nothing is hidden from God, even when we were formed, our frame was not hidden from Him (Ps 139:15).

If Elisha a prophet with the Spirit of God saw when his servant Gehazi went after Naaman to collect the gifts that he rejected (2 kings 5:26), what can you say of God Who is everywhere and knoweth everything, to Him, there is no secrets:

For nothing is concealed that won’t be revealed, and nothing hidden that won’t be made known and come to light.—Luke 8:17

One of Satan’s subtle deceptions is that you can do things in secret that will never be revealed. This is simply not so. The Bible stresses that everything done in darkness will one day be brought to light. So before you commit yourself to do anything questionable, seriously ask yourself, “Am I willing for those around me to know what I am about to do? Am I willing for God to watch me participate in this activity?”

The knowledge that God sees what we do, the certainty that we are accountable for every word and action, ought to dissuade us from sin (2 Cor. 5:10). But we can become so alienated from God that even this knowledge does not deter us. God promises that He will publicly expose our sin so that we must give an account to others for our actions. Ultimately, everything we do will be exposed on judgment day.

Still, some people believe they can sin against God, their families, their employers, or their friends and never be discovered. God has provided a safeguard against sin: the certainty of disclosure. Scripture commands us to expose the deeds of darkness as we become aware of them (Eph. 5:11). As Christians we are to be the light that dispels darkness in our world.

Sin cannot continue in the Christian’s experience, for light cannot dwell with darkness. The only insurance against having your sins exposed is living a blameless life.

Are you willing to do that? Without holiness no one can see the Lord. Godliness is what guarantees God blessing, a sinful man cannot enjoy the blessing of the Lord. Persecution becomes the order of the day because you want to live godly lives. Sometimes from fellows that you think will know better collaborate and persecute you. Make life unbearable for their fellow brethren other than encouraging him, who has been greatly sore by the assaults by the devil.

Child of God, living a godly life is becoming difficult but you must take the decision to live for Him. So many ungodly acts are faced daily in places of business, offices even in the house of God. Do not forget it is only the overcomers that will be honoured at the end, so persevere to the end my beloved:

In fact, all those who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.—2 Timothy 3:12

Living a godly life will not insulate you from hardship. Paul said that the more blameless your life, the more likely you will be persecuted. According to Paul, “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse” (2 Tim. 3:13). As the world increasingly embraces sin, worldly people are becoming increasingly intolerant of godliness. Darkness cannot tolerate light; the more your life illuminates the presence of Christ, the more you should expect opposition from the forces of darkness. Your Christlike nature will be offensive to those in rebellion against Christ’s Lordship.

You may have recently repented of your sin and taken a new step of obedience to God. Perhaps you expected to experience God’s blessing immediately as He demonstrated His approval of your obedience. Instead, you were met with opposition. The persecution may have come even from other Christians who misunderstood your motives. Perhaps you obeyed God, and still your actions were met with criticism instead of praise.

If you are sincerely following the Lord’s direction, don’t be discouraged. Paul warned that those who seek to live godly lives will suffer persecution. Do not be surprised when this happens to you. If the world crucified the Son of God, surely the world will be hostile to anyone who lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. Persecution may be the best evidence that your life is like that of Christ. Jesus warned that the world hated Him, the Savior, and so it would certainly misunderstand and mistreat His disciples (John 15:18).

Are being persecuted, ask God for the grace to stand sure and overcome at last. Having being remained that you cannot hide from God, do not allow Satan to deceive you. He is working seriously to disarm you, to crack the wall of defense so as to bite. Do not let him find any excuse to accuse you before God.

Do not forget he is subtle and cunning. He also knows the intent of your heart, be wise to guide your thought jealously and so that he will not tempt you as he did Eve.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
