When I survey the wondrous cross. On which the prince of glory died, my richest gain I count but loss. And pour contempt on all my pride./ Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, save in the death of Christ my God! All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood//

Our Father in heaven we thank You we blessed Your Holy Name, we honour You we give You Praise Thee, we worship You we adore You we glorify You blessed be Thy Name forever. Thank You for this blessed day and all that You have made to help us through. Gloria be to Your Name on high.

In our ministration yesterday, we read in prophet Isaiah that our transgression have been blotted out. And by the way of reunion the Lord told us that He has redeemed us with a price. That price paid for your redemption is what we are going to focus on in next 40days.

You will overcome it all through the cross and the blood that was shed on the cross. Beloved, seek out to find Jesus when you see Him, pick up your cross in obedience and follow him. Remember so many things you must learn only by following (Jn 1:39).

Are you ready to seek our Jesus? If you are also ready to carry the cross then follow me for more discovery:

Simon and his companions went searching for Him.—Mark 1:36

Simon Peter is well known to us for his foolish, extemporaneous statements throughout the Gospels (Matt. 16:22; 17:4; 26:33). But Peter was always seeking after Jesus. Peter followed Jesus from afar during the night of Jesus’ crucifixion (Matt. 26:58). Peter ran to the tomb when he heard Jesus had risen (Luke 24:12).

Peter swam in the sea in his haste to get to Jesus (John 21:7) and even walked on water in order to join Jesus (Matt. 14:29). Peter did not always say or do the right things, but he did constantly seek to be with Jesus. Because of this, he was continually encountering his Lord and growing to be a more faithful disciple.

Whenever we see Peter coming to Jesus he is always accompanied by others. Because Peter was seeking Jesus, others sought Him too. What are you known for by those who know you best? Do they see you searching for fame, power, success, or happiness? Are you known as a person who seeks after Jesus? God promises: “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:13).

Did you begin today intent on encountering Jesus? Is your search for Him halfhearted, or are you seeking Him with all your heart? Have others grown closer to Jesus because they followed your example and sought Jesus? If your heart is set on pursuing Jesus, you will always find Him. “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come” (Rev. 22:17).

Do you want to hear? Then come. if you are thirst; please come  say the Spirit of the Most High God! Take up your cross, and follow Me says the Lord:

“Take up the cross, and follow Me.” Mark 10:21

You have not the making of your own cross, although unbelief is a master carpenter at cross-making; neither are you permitted to choose your own cross, although self-will would fain be lord and master; but your cross is prepared and appointed for you by divine love, and you are cheerfully to accept it; you are to take up the cross as your chosen badge and burden, and not to stand cavilling at it. This night Jesus bids you submit your shoulder to His easy yoke.

Do not kick at it in petulance, or trample on it in vain-glory, or fall under it in despair, or run away from it in fear, but take it up like a true follower of Jesus. Jesus was a cross-bearer; He leads the way in the path of sorrow. Surely you could not desire a better guide! And if He carried a cross, what nobler burden would you desire? The Via Crucis is the way of safety; fear not to tread its thorny paths.

Beloved, the cross is not made of feathers, or lined with velvet, it is heavy and galling to disobedient shoulders; but it is not an iron cross, though your fears have painted it with iron colours, it is a wooden cross, and a man can carry it, for the Man of sorrows tried the load. Take up your cross, and by the power of the Spirit of God you will soon be so in love with it, that like Moses, you would not exchange the reproach of Christ for all the treasures of Egypt.

Remember that Jesus carried it, and it will smell sweetly; remember that it will soon be followed by the crown, and the thought of the coming weight of glory will greatly lighten the present heaviness of trouble. The Lord help you to bow your spirit in submission to the divine will ere you fall asleep this night, that waking with tomorrow’s sun, you may go forth to the day’s cross with the holy and submissive spirit which becomes a follower of the Crucified.

The way to victorious living may not always be smooth. It will have it cross but the power of God will bear you though.

Pray that the passion of Christ will never be in vain in your life. Pray and ask for the strength to carry your cross patiently without mumming to the end for the crown of victory that awaits you at the end in Jesus Name.

Father, we are ready to journey down to Calvary with You help us to learn as we go through the way, the way of righteousness and the passion therein. Glory be to you on high.

Thy face O! Lord do I seek (Ps 27:8-9).

Continue with the song above;

See from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down!
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

Remain ever blessed in the Lord.
