Blessed Redeemer, we thank You for the coming of a new day, new week, a new dawn for most us, a new season. Thank You for preserving us through thick and thin of each day. Joy over sorrow; Healing over sickness; Success over stagnation; Rejoicing over failure. Father, we thank you.

What a bright day You have made and said we should rejoice and be glad in it. Who is like unto Thee? We are grateful to You and we hallow Your Name forever and ever Amen! Thank You Lord for Who You ARE.

Beloved, behold a new week ahead of us, let us commit the works of our hands in the hand of God, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. His plans for us are good and not evil. He will do us good all the days of our lives. No matter the counsel of the evil one against you, the love of will prevail over it. Any evil programmed in the week, month or year for you and your household the Hand of the will frustrate their enterprise that it will not prosper.

Let us like the Psalmist cry unto the Lord this day saying “I call to God Most High, to God who fulfills [His purpose] for me.  He reaches down from heaven and saves me, challenging the one who tramples me” (Psalms 57:2-3) (HCSB).  Let us also declare “This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers”(1 Tim 4:10) (NLT).

Beloved, we will be considering this first day of the week “Seven laws of business success”. Whatever our hand findeth to do we are being encouraged to do it well. Therefore whether we are in paid employment, self-employment or ministries even in our families we are being encouraged to be diligent at it. But there are laws that will must follow if we desire to be successful.

 We also be considering “if Jesus were the CEO” and interesting topic you must agree with me. A must read for everyone who wants to prosper in his or her endeavors. Putting it another way “what will Jesus do if He is the CEO of most profiting company in the world? Come along with me to read more.

Seven Laws Of Business Success

  1. Always put God first in your life and business.

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be  devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:24, 33)

  1. Get to know God’s Word and apply it to your life and business.

 “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyesThe ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.” (Psalm 19:7-11)

  1. Expect big things from a big God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20)

  1. Place more value in people than in products.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)

  1. Give God the first pick of your profits.

 “Honor the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9, 10)

  1. Be committed to honesty and integrity.

 “The Lord demands fairness in every business.” (Proverbs 16:11 tlb)

  1. Be diligent in your pursuit of business success.

 “Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.” (Proverbs 10:4)

Let consider what an organization will be like when Jesus is the CEO, interesting, I heard someone saying:

 If Jesus Christ Were The CEO

If Jesus Christ were the CEO of a “for profit” company, what would be its objectives?

 Consider this:

  1. “TO HONOR GOD IN ALL WE DO.

Jesus: “I have brought You glory on earth by completing the work You gave me to do.” (John 17:4 niv)

  1. “TO HELP PEOPLE DEVELOP.

Paul: “We [teach] every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28a)

  1. “TO PURSUE EXCELLENCE.

Paul: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8 niv)

  1. “TO GROW PROFITABLY.”

Solomon: “All hard work brings a profitplans of the diligent lead to profit.” (Proverbs 14:23a; 21:5a)

These are the objectives of Servicemaster, a Fortune 500 Company that provides services to hospitals, colleges, plants, and homes.

 Perhaps at the root of many of our conflicts in business lies a confusion about AFFECTION and MOTIVES relative to God, money, and people:

 We are to love God and hate money. (See Matthew 6:24)

 We are to serve people and use money. (See Philippians 2:3; Ecclesiastes 5:19)

 When we reverse the order, God simply removes His hand of blessing from our efforts. Work then deteriorates from a divine calling into a chore, and the stress level escalates to exponential proportions. (Adapted from the FOTM)

Starting the week living like Jesus, pretty difficult but it’s worth it afterall. Beloved, we get informed to better our lots in the Lord. We don’t preach the popular sermon that many clamors for, “the enticing word” but the “raw Word of God”. Live by it and gain life; deviate from it, lose all.

As much we know that at one time it may work but we are encouraged to grow in the Word. Not only desiring the milk in the Word (1 Cor 3:2; Heb 5:13), let us also desire the strong meat in the Word (Heb 5:14).

This week is blessed in the Name of the Lord. Our going out and coming in will be honoured by the Lord. Whatsoever have been stolen from you by the evil ones, you are permitted to recover it in Jesus Name. Every of your stolen glory, wealth, health be recovered now in Jesus Name. No more distractions in Jesus Name, Amen.

He will blessed and multiply us in folds in the Name of Jesus. Beloved, humble yourself before the Lord, and He will lift you up in honour (Jas 4:10).
