The Name of the Lord is wonderful, the Name of the beautiful, the Name of Lord is precious the Name of the powerful // Jehovah You are the Most High God, Jehovah You are the Most High God! Lion of Judea You are the Most High God, Jehovah You are the Most High God.

Father in Heaven O God we bless Your Name, we worship You we exalt Your Holy Name, thank You for another beautiful day You have made, we should rejoice and be glad in it. Glorious God thank You, hallow be thou. Let Thou Kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth. Give us this day; our daily bread.

Beloved, how are doing? Hope great. Praise God! Yes! Our God is good; all the time. Faithful is His Name. I have look all round all eternity and I can say, there is none like Him. For God so love the world that He give His only begotten Son that whosoever belief in Him shall not perish rather they will everlasting life (Jn 3:16).  Praise God.

Beloved, how are doing I ask you again? Considering our text for today we must be conscious of how we live our lives since therefore are such a large witnesses surrounding us, we must lay aside every weight and sin that so easily ensnares us and run with endurance the race that lies before us.

Every child of God must be aware of the image they are carrying about that is the image of our Lord Jesus. So we must very careful how we live our lives. The way you carry yourself, the way you dress, what goes into your mouth by the of eating and drinking must be such that will honour God.

Do you still remember our study on “Law of Psychological Acceptance.” Beloved when we intentionally tolerate sin around us or within us, sooner or later we will see no evil in it again and might part of it consciously or unconsciously. So we must nail it to the cross immediately else we fall prey to the trick of the enemy.

Beloved, we have a large witness watching our action even the saint who has gone ahead of us are watching us as well. We must deny our nature (image of Christ who we are conforming into).

I had an experience I will like to share with you. Some years back during one my younger brother’s wedding some guys pretended to the want to spread money on the bride and groom during their couple dance came in with some fake currency. First the give them ten thousand to change and I kindly told him we don’t have a lower denomination to give him and he said he doesn’t mind if is not the lowest, anything lower than the currency he gave us will do.

So I went ahead to change the money but while counting the money I discover that some of the currencies were fake and I sighted another one of them at my brother side still asking to change some currency for them I quickly went there to stop them. We have parted with money and from experience I was able to pick three thousand of the cash which I suspected to be fake and keep it aside.

I told my mother since it was her that they change the money from her own mother of the groom dance. Later when I was about to take that same money to bank to confirm whether they are fake or not, I had no second thought about my action but when I got to the bank the look on some people’s face told me what was going on in their mind such like “you mean you came to bank to confirm if this money is fake when you would had spent it without blinking your eye.

God forbid I told myself. I will never do such an abominable thing. I had need for money, it so tight as the time I was telling you. I needed medical attention of the lab fees of which the fee is same as the value I took to the bank. I am not boasting for you, it never cross my mind to spend that money. Satan at this time was make all manner of excuses why I should spend it but I told myself “remember whose daughter are you.” Imagine if anything go wrong in the processes of going to spend it, what will I tell anybody.

Like I said, I refused to engage the devil for any discussion like what happened in the Garden of Eden. It was through discussion that Satan lured Eve into the greatest sin that rock the universe.

Beloved, when you come across some teaching, pay attention to it, don’t brush it aside. The world we are living now is full of evil and you must isolate yourself from the works of darkness.

I submitted that money and left the bank thanking God for His mercies. Do you know what happened afterward? The Lord opened the window of heaven and pour blessings upon me. First the sickness was declared gone by a man of God that came for ministration in my local church. Number one miracle and secondly, the Lord blessed me in a profound way. He did that which only Him can do in my life thirdly, I also received monetary blessings.

Wow! Remember all these blessings did not come easy. It was an overcoming temptation that produced these three miracles.

Beloved, the bible encourages us to run with endurance. It also said that we should lay aside every weight and sin that so easily ensnare us because we have large witness that surrounding us.

Are you making up your mind always to stand for what is right no matter the circumstance or situation?

Jesus went to the cross just for you and I to be free from all manner of sins and temptation. Don’t get yourself entangle again.

If you desire God’s forgiveness of sin don’t miss the second ministration. The Lord has blotted away your sin do not allow Satan to keep you captive. Come along with me to discover more:

Therefore since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that lies before us.—Hebrews 12:1

Sin is our most persistent, determined, and pernicious enemy. Sin seeks to rob us of every good thing God has designed for us. Paul tells us that sin brings death (Rom. 7:11). Yet it is very subtle. Sin creeps into our lives when and where we least expect it. It packages itself so attractively that we are lulled into thinking that it cannot really harm us (2 Cor. 11:14–15).

Sin stealthily and relentlessly entangles our lives. We will never be able to run the race marked out for us as long as we are entrapped in sin. We free ourselves from sin’s bondage only if we recognize it for what it is. If we call sin a “mistake,” a “bad habit,” or a “weakness,” we will never escape its grasp.

We must not blame our sins on others. We must not allow pride to convince us it is too humiliating to admit the sin in our lives. Sin can blind us to its presence. It does not always command our attention but rather, it subtly and pervasively robs us of the spiritual power and victory that could be ours. The good news is that there is no extent to which sin can entangle us that God’s grace does not abound still more to free us (Rom. 5:20).

Has sin robbed your joy? Has it prevented you from being the best husband, wife, son, daughter, or friend you could be? Is it keeping you from spiritual maturity? If you have become entangled with sin, God can release you immediately, no matter how desperately entangled you may have become!

God is saying I have blotted out; He has done it so claim it. He also has redeemed you, just return back to Him and it will be well with you.

“I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee.” Isaiah 44:22

Attentively observe THE INSTRUCTIVE SIMILITUDE: our sins are like a cloud. As clouds are of many shapes and shades, so are our transgressions. As clouds obscure the light of the sun, and darken the landscape beneath, so do our sins hide from us the light of Jehovah’s face, and cause us to sit in the shadow of death. They are earth-born things, and rise from the miry places of our nature; and when so collected that their measure is full, they threaten us with storm and tempest. Alas! that, unlike clouds, our sins yield us no genial showers, but rather threaten to deluge us with a fiery flood of destruction. O ye black clouds of sin, how can it be fair weather with our souls while ye remain?

Let our joyful eye dwell upon THE NOTABLE ACT of divine mercy—”blotting out.” God Himself appears upon the scene, and in divine benignity, instead of manifesting His anger, reveals His grace: He at once and for ever effectually removes the mischief, not by blowing away the cloud, but by blotting it out from existence once for all. Against the justified man no sin remains, the great transaction of the cross has eternally removed His transgressions from him. On Calvary’s summit the great deed, by which the sin of all the chosen was for ever put away, was completely and effectually performed.

Practically let us obey THE GRACIOUS COMMAND, “return unto me.”Why should pardoned sinners live at a distance from their God? If we have been forgiven all our sins, let no legal fear withhold us from the boldest access to our Lord. Let backslidings be bemoaned, but let us not persevere in them. To the greatest possible nearness of communion with the Lord, let us, in the power of the Holy Spirit, strive mightily to return. O Lord, this night restore us!

Return to the Lord. He has redeemed Thee. Live right and be a witness to God’s kingdom.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
