Glory to be to God in the highest and peace to men of goodwill. Beloveth, what a rare opportunity to be called the sons of God! Is a privilege to be called a child of God. The perishing souls out there will loved to be called so too but there are yet to counted among the privilege few, so if you have a witness in your life that you are a child of God beloved, bow in worship to honour God.
Many started the journey and they fail on the way but you are still standing, beloveth lift up your hand in worship to the Most High God. What a Wonderful God we serve. You are indeed blessed.
Beloved, having this privilege to enjoy there is something that is expected of you, and that is what we are going to consider today- sowing seed of righteousness.
Living victoriously can never be a reward for those who are yet to accept Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour, it is meant for those who are in Christ and confesses Christ as their Lord and personal SAVIOUR, there is a reward also attach to it.
How do we live out righteousness? The message below has so much to share with us. Above all we live a Holy life devour of wickedness and uncleanliness. Our integrity must be profound. We must in any way takes the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives for granted.
Both our lives and actions must show righteousness. It is so unfortunate that so many Christians are living in wickedness. So many born again children of God. Or do I say they are just going to church but are yet to know what Jesus is all about.
Reflecting over yesterday’s teaching “Ye are Christ” can a child of God have wickedness as a nature? Is impossible. It is not the nature of Christ therefore must not be found in the lives of someone who goes to church. But you see the Holy Spirit works of righteousness is yet to be effective in their lives and unfortunately if you die in that state – hell is real.
So we sow the seeds of righteousness in our life and make sure that our integrity level is high this way beloved, we are in for righteous living. May God help us in Jesus Name.
Let’s read more below:
Sowing Seeds of Righteousness
But the one who sows righteousness, a true reward.—Proverbs 11:18b
There are many ways to invest our lives, but none offers greater reward than devoting ourselves to the pursuit of righteousness. Every area of our lives should reflect the holiness of God that is ours by salvation: our thoughts, so that nothing we think about would be inappropriate for a child of God; our actions, so that our lives demonstrate that we serve a holy God; our integrity, so that we are above reproach in all our relationships.
Are you taking God’s righteousness in your life for granted? Righteousness is something you must allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. Instead of sowing holy thoughts, are you allowing evil and sinful thoughts to grow in your mind? Are you allowing lust to grow unchecked within you? Does enmity, bitterness, jealousy, or unforgiveness remain in your life? Jesus said if we seek first God and His righteousness, everything else will follow (Matt. 6:33).
There is great reward in sowing righteousness. What are you presently doing to plant holiness in your life? (1 Pet. 1:15). How are you putting righteousness in your mind so that your thoughts are holy? How are you cultivating righteousness in your relationships so that you maintain your integrity? Are you instilling righteousness in your activities so that your life is above reproach? If you want to harvest righteousness in your life tomorrow, you must plant seeds of righteousness today.
Did you read that- if you want to harvest righteousness in your life tomorrow, you must plant seeds of righteousness today? The next teaching will help your growth in sowing seed of righteousness. See the confession of Charles Wesley, is gone help you if you make it your own confession too.
I Want A Principle Within
“I want a principle within,
Of watchful, godly fear,
A sensibility of sin,
A pain to feel it near.” (Charles Wesley)
The Principle Within is that commitment to absolute INTEGRITY… To uncompromising, honest living that squares with the character of God as revealed in Scripture.
How would I know if I am living by that “Principle Within”? Here are three specifics:
- Motives: I am resolved that in my dealings with people, there will be no hidden agenda: No manipulation of others toward my own ends.
“Let your love be without hypocrisy.” (Romans 12:9)
- Impressions: I am resolved to not knowingly allow any impressions about myself or my business that do not square with reality: No shading of the truth. No delaying of payments. No cutting of corners on the quality of service or on the quality of the product.
“You… outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy… ” (Matthew 23:28)
- Speech: I am resolved to discipline my conversation in such a way that the verbalization and the reality are precisely the same:
“Whatever you have to say let your ‘yes‘ be a plain ‘yes‘ and your ‘no‘ be a plain ‘no‘ — anything more than this has a taint of evil.” (Matthew 5:37 Phillips Translation)
Wesley went on to write:
“Help me the first approach to feel
Of pride or wrong desire:
To catch the wandering of my will,
And quench the kindling fire.“
Principled men and women who are determined to adhere to that godly “Principle Within” are sensitive to the slightest inkling of compromise within their breast.
QUESTION: “Are you man or woman enough to belong to that rare breed of principled disciples of Christ in an age of unprincipled people?” I know you are!
I know you dear beloved. let us make sure that we are not only the privilege few that are called the children of God but also let us be among the rare breed of the principled disciples of Christ in an age of unprincipled people” Praise God.
Beloved, ours is a life of victory- overcomers of this godless age. Shout a Amen!!!!!!!!!!
Make this confession unto the Lord that going forward you will be counted among His principled disciple through the help of the Holy Spirit. Read the following scripture for the empowerment from on high – Phil 4:13, Ps 63:8, 2 Cor 4:7-11.
Remain blessed in the Lord.
