How Excellent is Your Name O God! Immortal, Invisible God only wise. Great is thy Faithfulness, morning by morning, new mercies I see. All that I needed your hands have provided. Father, You alone is worthy of my Praise. We thank You for another gracious week in Your presence. Let Your Name alone be praise forever more.

Beloved, we are together again, just praising the Lord. We are together again, in one accord. Something good is already happening, something great in this place, we are together again, just praising the Lord. (just to put you in the mood)

Beloved, can you remember one important thing God demand of us? Not your wealth as the thousand cattle on the hill belongs to Him. Not your wisdom as He is Wisdom, Himself. God is not looking at your hand for the earth is of the Lord and the fullness thereof, always remember that your giving opens door for your blessing through Him.

So what is that one thing required of you by the Almighty? Come, Let’s go and make the discovery together.

But the one who sows righteousness, a true reward.—Proverbs 11:18b

There are many ways to invest our lives, but none offers greater reward than devoting ourselves to the pursuit of righteousness. Every area of our lives should reflect the holiness of God that is ours by salvation: our thoughts, so that nothing we think about would be inappropriate for a child of God; our actions, so that our lives demonstrate that we serve a holy God; our integrity, so that we are above reproach in all our relationships.

Are you taking God’s righteousness in your life for granted? Righteousness is something you must allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. Instead of sowing holy thoughts, are you allowing evil and sinful thoughts to grow in your mind? Are you allowing lust to grow unchecked within you? Does enmity, bitterness, jealousy, or unforgiveness remain in your life? Jesus said if we seek first God and His righteousness, everything else will follow (Matt. 6:33).

There is great reward in sowing righteousness. What are you presently doing to plant holiness in your life? (1 Pet. 1:15). How are you putting righteousness in your mind so that your thoughts are holy? How are you cultivating righteousness in your relationships so that you maintain your integrity? Are you instilling righteousness in your activities so that your life is above reproach? If you want to harvest righteousness in your life tomorrow, you must plant seeds of righteousness today.

Though it written, that our righteousness is like a flirty rags before him but without your righteous standing before God, you cannot receive anything from Him. O! Someone is saying, sister, you don’t know how much I have tried in past to live right but all to no avail. Have you lost your company in Christ? Where? You don’t know. Have you sought after Him in truth and righteousness? Probably you have not done all that is needed. Our righteousness is of God and Him alone can help you, why don’t you call on Him right away and receive help to grow in His righteousness. Let’s do it one more time and see if He will be found?

“I sought him, but I found him not.” Song 3:1

Tell me where you lost the company of Christ, and I will tell you the most likely place to find Him. Have you lost Christ in the closet by restraining prayer? Then it is there you must seek and find Him. Did you lose Christ by sin? You will find Christ in no other way but by the giving up of the sin, and seeking by the Holy Spirit to mortify the member in which the lust doth dwell. Did you lose Christ by neglecting the Scriptures? You must find Christ in the Scriptures. It is a true proverb, “Look for a thing where you dropped it, it is there.”

So look for Christ where you lost Him, for He has not gone away. But it is hard work to go back for Christ. Bunyan tells us, the pilgrim found the piece of the road back to the Arbour of Ease, where he lost his roll, the hardest he had ever travelled. Twenty miles onward is easier than to go one mile back for the lost evidence.

Take care, then, when you find your Master, to cling close to Him. But how is it you have lost Him? One would have thought you would never have parted with such a precious friend, whose presence is so sweet, whose words are so comforting, and whose company is so dear to you! How is it that you did not watch Him every moment for fear of losing sight of Him? Yet, since you have let Him go, what a mercy that you are seeking Him, even though you mournfully groan, “O that I knew where I might find Him!”

Go on seeking, for it is dangerous to be without thy Lord. Without Christ you are like a sheep without its shepherd; like a tree without water at its roots; like a sere leaf in the tempest—not bound to the tree of life. With thine whole heart seek Him, and He will be found of thee: only give thyself thoroughly up to the search, and verily, thou shalt yet discover Him to thy joy and gladness.

Beloved, we are in the final lap of this month and we have been seeking the Lord both in praying and fasting as to make the year beautiful for us. My prayer for you is that whatsoever you bought as a request before His presence must return back to you as a testimony, having asked according to His will. As you seek Him all though the remaining days of the month, may He be found by you. May your days ahead be bless as you live so close to Him. Amen. Click here to belong to this family of God
