Beloveth… Today is Good Friday… why will today be called Good… even when it typifies death … death of Jesus… the Son of the Most High God… Jn.3:16

Let me start by saying to us “Congratulations!… for a promised fulfilled… for eternal life Assured… for deliverance achieved… what a glorious moment… for you and I to share the lovingkindness of God… O! Our God is good; all the time… Our God is good…

Some thousand years ago… Jesus obeyed His Father’s Will… and today … you and I are beneficial of the same… beloveth… how obedient are you to the heavenly agenda?

Today’s topic says… successful or significant… our Lord Jesus choose to be significant instead of successful… do remember many times they wanted to make Him King by force but He escape because He knows why He so-journeyed here on earth… to bring salvation to men…. Praise the Lord…

Beloveth… the question we have for today is “Are you living a life of success or significant? Praise the Name of Jesus…. Like we will later read in story below… Is possible you are living a successful life but at the same time you are relatively insignificant before God…

Somebody is not getting it right…. How is it possible? Humanly speaking it doesn’t add up…

Beloveth… this message is meant put us in the right track… “To fix our gaze on what is urgent and significant too… Is meant to show us the way to go… that will lead us home at last…

Hear this child of God when Jesus was brought by His parents for dedication… the Spirit of God reveal to Simeon that this is the One … The consolation of Israel … after the custom had been performed… Simeon made one significant statement and he said “Lord, now let thou Thy servant depart in peace, according to Thy word…

Beloveth this is confidence… Simeon was not asking God to ensure that he rest with Him after his spirit leave his body… rather Simeon was rather telling God that he is coming home according to His Word to him…

Beloveth… I am super exited do you know why… this is a man… who did not live a successful life only; but he also lived a life of significant… at his introduction …. He was introduced as a “Just and devout man”… God promised him that his eyes will see the consolation of Israel before his departure … and it was so…

Beloveth… this man that lived significant life not just a successful lifestyle… what about you… are taking a decision to be that man, that woman that heaven will call pious/just and devout… or you just want to be called successful in your career, ministry, family and heaven has no record of you… May God deliver us from such evil in Jesus Name…

We must be impact the kingdom work so that when we will be standing before God … there will be sounds of rejoicing…. as our clarion call comes calling us home… Praise the Name of the Lord… Alleluia!!!

Come along for more:

Successful Or Significant?

That is the question we must ask of ourselves.

Is it possible we could be leading highly successful lives that are relatively insignificant?

Why is it that so many of us wake up in mid-life with a pit in our stomach, feeling we lack meaning, value or purpose?

Perhaps it is because in our drive for “success” we have highlighted the temporal at the expense of that which is truly significant: The eternal.

“Success” in life, as we are inclined to define it, usually relates to secular achievement in a manner that garners the approval or admiration of our fellowmen.

Jesus cautioned us however:

What is highly valued among men is detestable in Gods sightWhat good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Luke 16:15b; Matthew 16:26)

“Significance” in life as God views it, is related to focusing primarily on the eternal: The glory of God and the Kingdom of God.

The night before the cross, Jesus prayed to the Father: “I have glorified Thee on earth, I have finished the work You gave me to do.” (John 17:4)

That is, He had succeeded in building Kingdom values into the lives of the 11 Disciples. From God’s perspective, our lives are lived in a significant manner when we emulate Jesus’ example:

He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christs ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us… ” (2 Corinthians 5:19b, 20a)

IS MY LIFE SUCCESSFUL OR SIGNIFICANT?

The answer lies in whether I place my primary focus on the temporal or the eternal… On whether I view my work fundamentally as an opportunity to enhance the Kingdom of God, or principally as an opportunity to further my personal goals?

The choice, of course, is ours.

Beloveth… the choice is ours… make sure that your choice counts in eternity Amen!!!!!!!!!!

Once again we celebrate with the host of Angels on high on the obedience of Christ even to dying on the Cross… Praise the Name of the Lord… Alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From all of us @overcomersfaith.org … we are wishing a happy time if God’s Presence all through this season in Jesus Name… we love you….so dearly… fix your gaze on the Cross… it leads to eternal life… That is a life of significant … Praise the Name of Lord…. Amen!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
