I will lift up my voice, I will joyfully sing not for what He has done but for Who You are, You are the song that I sing, melody in my voice, the reason I sing is to Praise you Lord. he reign Jesus reign, He reign forever more. 2x// what a mighty God we serve, what a mighty God we serve, what a mighty God we serve, what a mighty God we serve.

Father, we thank You for Your mercies that endureth forever. Thank You for the privilege to be in Your presence. Glory be to Your Name. O God Who is like unto Thee. You are God and You reigneth forever. Let the glory of God come down.

Yes! Let Your glory come down upon us a fresh. Hid us under your wings Jesus. Let no device of the enemies take us away from the goodness of God which has been planned from the foundation of the world. Thank You God, thank you Father.

Beloved, how are doing today? Hope fine, Praise God. Let the living Praise the Lord. it does not matter what is going on right now with you, but is important is what God is what God is doing concerning it and will do through it.

Oftentimes, we come to a point of decision making, whether to continue in the direction we are going or to make a U-turn. Or you are to stand still but some time. Beloved, it is not usually a good time for and active mind but it also might be like God did with Israelite to bring glory to Himself. All you need do is to keep still, pray, Praise, worship and adore Him irrespective of the situation you are in.

I know God is love and will not allow His children to suffer unnecessary or allow the children of the righteous to beg bread (Ps 37:25).  He is God and will continue to show mercy on His children.

But there is a “but” to the mercies of God. We started a series yesterday that may run through the end of this month God helping us. The series which centered on “sin” will be again to our consciousness what sin is all about, it effects and result on those who live by it.

Beloved, what can hinder us from enjoying the mercies of God even when is free and at our disposal? The only thing that can hinder an individual from enjoying God’s mercies is “sin”. Going by our yesterday definition of sin, we said that sin is a “crime” and “wickedness”. It is all encompassing. Am not going to spend time mentioning it one by one, but you know what is wrong which can also be a “crime” in the society and “wicked” before man and God.

So when an individual is engage in any of such acts, what happens is that such an individual stifles God’s love, favour and kindness.

We will seeing the result of sin on the character in our bible study today, why God has to take such a step.

This is clarion call to us again to turn away from our sinful acts and come to God for His blessings (Rev 22:15). Is so dishearten to see and read the evil acts going on in our societies today. God is watching, his keep quiet is not foolishness as many think He is but the long suffering of God is for all men to repent and come back to His open Hand. (Rom 2:4-6).

Many of us have must have read the out topic text many times and with different versions of bible but how often we are cut in the same web.  Beloved, now is the time to address all this vices and trust God to help us live a holy life before Him (Gen 17:1).

Let discover more below:

When he heard these words, Ananias dropped dead, and a great fear came on all who heard.—Acts 5:5

When God brings judgment upon someone, our natural inclination is often sympathy toward the one being disciplined. Yet when God acts in judgment, our sympathies ought always to lie with Him. Only God knows all that is at stake, and only He knows the full circumstances that provoked His wrath upon the one He is judging.

Ananias and Sapphira’s experience is one of the most perplexing stories in the New Testament. In a time when God’s grace had provided salvation for all mankind, His response to this couple seems unusually harsh. Yet there was much at stake in their deception. The church was in its formative stages.

Ananias and Sapphira had witnessed the miraculous power of God and had seen thousands of people being added to the church. Nevertheless, they showed little regard for the Spirit of God when they blatantly lied to God and the church. Such irreverence would have been devastating to a church whose very life depended upon the presence and guidance of God’s Spirit. God left a sobering reminder that He would not tolerate sin.

Many times the sin of one Christian has a devastating effect on others. At times, God chooses to judge someone’s sin severely, as a deterrent for others. Don’t try to protect someone from the judgment of God. It is a terrifying thing to fall under His judgment (Heb. 10:31). Yet His judgment on one may ultimately save that person and many others.

When God is judging others, take heed and examine your own life. God knows what is at stake; He loves His children enough to provide a stark warning of sin’s dangers.

Beloved, God knows what is at stake and will not compromise any of His principles so we must watch how we live our live as an individual also with regard with the society at large. Beloved, we are aroma of Christ among those who are saved and among those who are dying (2 Cor 2:15).

The next ministration is all about David calling on God to spare his life and destroy Him not with sinners. This is an important prayer every child of God must Constantly offer to God daily. Why someone wants to know.

Let take a trip to Ps 1. Read it along and make this observations Ps 1:1- read thus “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psalms 1:1 (KJV).

Beloved, did you notice the “walketh” “standeth” “sitteth.” Read the verse again. Did you observe that it said “Blessed” is the man. Beloved when walk, stand, sits with sinners you are inviting God’s wrath upon your life. If you are where sinners doomed for destruction are gathered, how can you be spared? Is only God that can deliver you at such a time like that. All those that were gathered when Samson destroyed the Philistines die along with the lords of the philistines (Judges 16:25-30). So beware of the way you live your life. Avoid the life of it does not matter, God knows those who are His. If you have been doing or living that way desist from that.

So you see why David had to cry such a cry to God, the fear of being destroyed with sinners made the patriarch of old to cry unto God for mercies to preserve His life. Let’s discover more:

“Gather not my soul with sinners.” Psalm 26:9

Fear made David pray thus, for something whispered, “Perhaps, after all, thou mayst be gathered with the wicked.” That fear, although marred by unbelief, springs, in the main, from holy anxiety, arising from the recollection of past sin. Even the pardoned man will enquire, “What if at the end my sins should be remembered, and I should be left out of the catalogue of the saved?”

He recollects his present unfruitfulness—so little grace, so little love, so little holiness, and looking forward to the future, he considers his weakness and the many temptations which beset him, and he fears that he may fall, and become a prey to the enemy. A sense of sin and present evil, and his prevailing corruptions, compel him to pray, in fear and trembling, “Gather not my soul with sinners.”

Reader, if you have prayed this prayer, and if your character be rightly described in the Psalm from which it is taken, you need not be afraid that you shall be gathered with sinners. Have you the two virtues which David had—the outward walking in integrity, and the inward trusting in the Lord?

Are you resting upon Christ’s sacrifice, and can you compass the altar of God with humble hope? If so, rest assured, with the wicked you never shall be gathered, for that calamity is impossible. The gathering at the judgment is like to like. “Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” If, then, thou art like God’s people, thou shalt be with God’s people.

You cannot be gathered with the wicked, for you are too dearly bought. Redeemed by the blood of Christ, you are His forever, and where He is, there must His people be. You are loved too much to be cast away with reprobates. Shall one dear to Christ perish? Impossible! Hell cannot hold thee! Heaven claims thee! Trust in thy Surety and fear not!

Yes! You need not fear of being destroyed with sinners if you have repented from your wrong doings and surrenders your life our Lord Jesus. If you have not given your life to our Lord Jesus Christ, then here is another opportunity to have a relationship with Him. Click here and be save right now. Note today as the day you accepted Christ into your life.

You are welcome into the family of the first-born. The adopted of the Father. Praise God, alleluia.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
