Our glorious Father we thank You, we glorify Your Holy Name alleluia to the King of Kings the Lord of lords the Ancient of Days, the Beginning and the End, glory, Honour, power and majesty, belong to God Our Lord…Thank You for the gift of another day in the land of the living, alleluis to Your Name forever and ever Amen………..

Beloveth, how are you doing today? hope you doing great, our God is good all the time, all the time our Lord is good. Praise be the Name of the Lord alleluia……..

Beloveth, are you ready to deny yourself for the sake of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ? If you congratulation but are yet to make up your mind, I know that you prayerful ask the Holy to help you then you will have a smooth ride….praise the Lord!

Today we will be considering another part of the text…which says “Take up the Cross”…. However if you are yet to come to terms with “Deny Yourself” how easy will it be for you to Take up your Cross”?

Interestingly, some is asking “how can I take up my cross…another is saying “what is my “Cross,” “why the Cross?

To some school of thought, Jesus has already bore the “Cross” so no more “Cross,” we are to enjoy and make merry… beloveth, let go back to our text for today ….” Deny yourself, take up your Cross… Jesus did not say take up “My Cross”… rather He said “your cross.”

Beloveth, we have set the foundation right, so that we will not be carry away by every wind of doctrine…so having understood that you have your own  cross to bear…Jesus is saying follow me… He did not say “figure out what to do with the Cross… He did not say… you are totally on your own…rather He said… “take your Cross and follow me”

Having heard or read the very Word of Jesus …which is also a command….Are you ready to take up your Cross and follow Him? Like we  discovery yesterday in “Deny yourself,”,  “Taking up your Cross” will be on Jesus Terms not yours, so if you are ready to obey the Voice of God then lets cheek out what is written below and get more insight in God’s Word…. Praise the Name of the Lord……..

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”—Matthew 16:24

Your “cross” is God’s will for you, regardless of the cost. Taking up your cross is a choice; it is not beyond your control. You may have health problems or a rebellious child or financial pressures, but do not mistake these as your “cross to bear.” Neither circumstances you face nor consequences of your own actions are your cross.

Your cross will be to voluntarily participate in Christ’s sufferings as He carries out His redemptive purposes (Phil. 3:10). Paul said he rejoiced in his sufferings because he knew that by them he was able to participate in the suffering required to bring others into Christian maturity (Col. 1:24).

We tend to want to go immediately from “denying ourselves” to “following Jesus.” But you can never follow Jesus unless you have first taken up your cross. There are aspects of God’s redemptive work that can be accomplished only through suffering.

Just as Christ had to suffer in order to bring salvation, there will be hardships you may have to endure in order for God to bring salvation to those around you. Jesus did not talk with His disciples about the cross until they had come to know He was the Christ (Matt. 16:21).

You will never be able to endure the suffering of the cross unless you have first been convinced that Jesus is the Christ. Once you have settled your relationship with Christ, He will introduce you to your cross.

There is no Christianity without a cross. If you are waiting for a relationship with God that never requires suffering or inconvenience, then you cannot use Christ as your model. God’s will for you involves a cross. First, take up your cross, then you can follow Him.

Beloveth are you here with me….did you read the above instructions… your cross in Christ is your partnership with Christ in His suffering and in His redemptive works. Praise  the Lord!

What are those things that you are passing through that are making you to question the existence of God? Beloveth, now that you know that those passions can bring out the best in you and make you to be at the last assembly with jesus and ea the last Super with Him…will you still be bitter or ask Jesus to help you to bear “Your Cross” to His Glory….

Secondly, will you be willing to be available to be use of Christ in His redemptive work? Can you b willing to say Yes O Yes to Wherever or Whoever or Whatever He will ask you to do in His Name…..

May the Spirit of God help us and make it easy for us to bear our Cross in Jesus Name….

Remain blessed in the Lord.
