We are crowning the month with a teaching on “the Great Triune God.” and you will celebrate Jesus after now. This month will not end until you befit all that has been package for you in it, so watch out for more of God after this teaching. You will encounter the Trinity and you will never remain the self in Jesus Name.

We have discussed Godhead, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We did mention some of their Name but I want to quickly remind you that our Lord Jesus is called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6). The Bright and Morning Star (Rev 22:16). The Sun of Righteousness (Mal 4:2).

For more insight about the Holy Spirit beloved you read Rom chapters 7 and 8 and 1 Cor 12:4-11 and Heb 2:4. May God give us more insight as we read and meditate on His Words in Jesus Name.

The Great Triune God

The Word became flesh and took up residence among us.—John 1:14

Dr. W. E. Sangster tells the story of following three children out of church. One remarked to the others: “I can’t understand all this ‘Three in One and One in Three’ business.”

“I can’t either,” said another child, “but I think of it like this: my mother is Mummy to me, she is Mabel to Daddy, and Mrs. Douglas to lots of other people.”

Is that the answer? Is it just a question of names? Are we right in finding the doctrine of the Trinity in the text of Matthew 28:19, where the word “name” is singular, but three names are given—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

No, that is just part of it; there is much more to it than that. God, we know, is one God. But there stepped into the world someone who claimed also to be God. His name was Jesus. He forgave sins, claimed to have existence before Abraham, and accepted worship as His right. Worship, remember, is for God alone. After Jesus was resurrected and returned to heaven, He sent back the Holy Spirit, who was also seen as God (2Co 13:13). He—the Holy Spirit—came into the disciples and brought with Him the resources of the Godhead, breaking the sin in their nature, pleading in prayer, and exalting the Savior.

Thus we see God is One but also Three in One: God above us, God among us, God within us. The Father in majesty, the Son in suffering, the Spirit in striving. This is the central mystery of our most holy faith. Together, and with all our hearts, let us adore the great triune God.

Prayer

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, though I cannot comprehend Your essential oneness and unity, I can worship You nevertheless. This I do now, in humble adoration. Glory, honor, and power be unto Your name forever and ever. Amen.

How did John describe Jesus?

What did Jesus declare of Himself?

Beloved you read that, is not about names but about who they are- godhead, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God above us, God among us and God within us, this is the central mystery of our most holy faith. Praise the Name of the Lord.

It was a great time out all through this month. Our God is ever faithful and stands by His Word to bring it to pass. Thanks be to Him alone in Jesus Name.

Beloved, I implore you to pray along with us for outpouring of the gifts of the Spirit on each and every one of us as we live and desire to be like Jesus. May we with diverse gift and one body build the kingdom of God as commanded us by Christ Jesus. Remember the instruction of the Master “occupy till I come.” Not forgetting that there is a reward for us- “eternal life” for as many as obey the command.

We draw the curtain down at this junction. We wish you a great weekend experience in the power of the triune God. See on Monday, another month with great and powerful packaging from above.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
