I will magnify the Lord (I will magnify the Lord) Who is worthy to be Praise (Who is worthy to be Praise) Hosanna blessed be the Lord, honour to the Lord let the Rock of my salvation be exalted, Hosanna blessed be the Lord, honour to the Lord let the Rock of my salvation be exalted // When I go with the Lord Jesus, every battle I am a winner. When I go with the Lord Jesus, every battle I am a winner.

Who is like unto Thee O Lord! There is none like Thee Lord, there is none like unto Thee, You are Big, You are not Big, You are not just large, You are a Great God. Thank You Father, Thank You Ancient of Days, You are the Lion of the tribe of Judea, There is none to compared You with. Glorious God, Receive our Praise, Receive our worship, We Praise and honour Your Holy Name forever and ever in Jesus Name.

Beloved, good morning, how are doing? Hope you are seeing the bright side of life as the day go by. Thanks be to God who is able to do things to work in our favour, glory be to Jesus. The month is gradual going but we trust God that the theme of the month is speaking in our individual life both physical and spiritual. God will bring His Word to pass even if you don’t know how but you trust in Him (1 Pet 1:25).

He will orchestrate a way to bring His Word which is your destiny to past. Is important for us to understand that we have different calling in the body of Christ then in turn we are to bring our gifts together and build up the body of Christ, therefore where God will be equipping and uplifting me will be different from where He will be equipping and uplifting you but at the end it will work together for the building up the body of Christ. Praise the Lord.

We consider the working of the shield of faith in our last faith clinic session under the topic “Blasphemous thoughts” and we believe it was a tremendous help to as many that read it, today again by the grace of God will be considering another weaponry we use as Christian to protect ourselves from the onslaught of satan who is always on the lookout seeking who to devour. Praise the Lord.

We must not expose ourselves to attacks either consciously or unconsciously. I had an encounter yesterday with a friend and she mentioned to me that she has an interview for tomorrow (which is today) and ask her where and which position and she replied a hotel and front desk personal or I have forgotten at the moment the second position. I said “no” you are not going for that interview and she ask “Why” and I simple said because it is right for you and she came saying but Sis (that’s how she addresses me) you know I need a job at least let me take this and wait for something better to come. And I simply told her “ and nothing of such will happen because it will be difficult for you to leave the job at a time and nothing better will ever show up so that you will keep being there.”

I asked her who provided the new apartment she is staying and how it came about and she answered. I told her to hold on that same God because He will show up and give her a befitting job that will help her Christian race. As a young girl you cannot afford to work anywhere, there are certain things or ethic that is found in some working environment considering my own part of the world, you cannot risk it, she accepted and I prayed with her and she left.

Beloved, we are not going to accept anything because of what is going on in our life at the moment, We must at each point in time make sure we are in line with Bible standards and we must not give a footing to satan to attack us especially when money is involved remember the Bible said is the root of all evil and you cannot serve money and serve God the same time so we have to be beware (Matt 6:24).

I also want us to help our unemployed friends and siblings by paying for their meal, haircut/styling of their hair, recharge card and some soft expenses that will take off stress from them pending when they are fix up with something better to run with. Someone is asking “what about school fees or house rent,” if you are so bless why not, do you know if that is the reason God is helping you too (Esther 4:13-14) so let us be kind to one another (Gal 6:9-10, Prov 28:27).

Back to the topic of the day; come along with us for more discoveries:

Isaiah 8:1-10:11, Psalm 109:26-31, Proverbs 23:6-8, 2 Corinthians 10:12-11:15

The Helmet of Salvation

I fear that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your minds may be seduced from a complete and pure devotion to Christ.—2 Corinthians 11:3

The second piece of armor that is not tied or fixed to the body but that a Christian soldier has to take up and put on is “the helmet of salvation” (Eph 6:17). The helmet worn by a Roman soldier was usually made of bronze or iron with an inside lining of felt or sponge. In some cases a hinged visor added frontal protection. When a Roman soldier saw an enemy coming, he would take hold of his shield, put on his helmet, take his sword in hand, and stand alert and ready to do battle.

The figure of a helmet immediately suggests to us that this is something designed to protect the mind, the intelligence, the ability to think and reason. Just as the breastplate of righteousness protects us from emotional distress, the helmet of salvation protects us from mental distress. This helmet can help us keep our thinking straight and preserve us from mental confusion.

Has there ever been a time in history when we needed something to keep our thinking straight more than we do now? Politicians vacillate and oscillate between despairing pessimism and unrealistic optimism. Just think of the staggering complexities of the issues we face in our current generation—AIDS, violence, nuclear missiles, international tensions, economic instability, inner-city slums, and so on. The intelligentsia of our day confess to being utterly baffled in dealing with the problems with which human society is confronted. Where can we turn to ease the pressure on our minds? The only answer is God—in the helmet of salvation that He provides.

Prayer

O Father, I am so grateful that You have provided freedom from that most terrifying of human problems—mental distress. Teach me all I need to know in applying Your truth to the important area of my mind. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

How were the Ephesians not to live?

How powerful is the influence of the mind?

Did you read that – when Roman soldier sees an enemy coming, what he does? Beloved, he take hold of his shield, and put on his  helmet, take his sword and stand alert and ready to do battle. Did you also read the next paragraph – the figure of helmet suggest to us “something designed to protect the mind, the intelligence, the ability to think and reason. It protects us from mental distress just as the breastplate of righteousness protects us from emotional distress. The helmet helps to keep our thinking straight and preserve us from mental confusion.

Beloved, is it possible that the reason why you are down for awhile is because you did not wear your helmet of salvation when the enemy came against you? is possible you did not guide your thinking right when you are expose to that nude picture, expose to that cash or decision? Is possible that you were over taken by the events before you and you made a faulty decision or took a wrong step. Now that you know, you have to go back to God in repentance and ask for the forgiveness of your sins and ask the Holy Spirit to help you out (Ps 124:8).

If your case is that of carelessness of leaving yourself unduly expose then you have go down on your knees and ask the Holy Spirit to help you and teach you what to do. We must learn to guide our thought in line with the Word of God. You must protect yourself from being mental distress by nibbling the attack to the board before it goes overboard and you get every miss up and wrong too.

Never play with the helmet of your salvation for that is your stand as a child of God, be ready to pick it up, cover up and be at alert (Josh 1:8. 2Tim 2:15, Jas 1:25, Phil 3:17). May God help us all in Jesus Name.  Behold hear what the Word of God is saying to someone who is reading this piece now and wants forgiveness and restoration in Jn 5:14, if you are the one claim it and you will see light as you do.

Remain blessed in the Lord
