Beloved, after the fall of man. Satan rejoice that he has out smattered God, God only laugh at him and set in motion the Plan of Redemption. At the fulness of time Jesus was born. He has a mission to accomplish. He was tempted but did not fell into sin. He rebuked satan out the lives of many, He set the captive free from snares of wicked and captivate of Satan. He healed the sick and delivered the oppressed. Jesus went about doing good and He is in the business of doing good.
Beloved, there is a Name so sweet and that Name is Jesus, He died on the cross. A popular song. Yes! The Name of Jesus is that Name to use.
His Name is potent in every circumstances and situation. There is no situation that does not answer to that Name. There is condition that is not shaken at the mention of the Name of Jesus.
Beloved, what is that situation that is bothering your heart? What is it that seems like a load on your head, or a pain in the heart? Have you try everything and it failed you? Then is time to try the One who has never failed and will never fail. The One who is same yesterday, Today and forever. That Name is ever potent and ever green. Is never weary out by your many challenges. When you call on that Name mountains are turning into plain, Oceans are dividing into many ways. Even the trees in the forest stand awe of that Name.
Beloved I want to introduce you to a Name that has stand the test of time, the One Who is and is yet to come. That Name is J-E-S-U-S. Can I hear a shouting offering to the Lord Jesus?
The Word of God said that God lifted Him up above every other Name, that at the mention of the Name “Jesus,” “every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. Phil 2:9-11.”
Beloved, I have many testimonies to attest to this. At the mentioning of that Name, sickness and diseases disappears. Demons trembles at mention of the Name – Jesus. The captives are set free. Storms and crises becomes calm at that Name of – Jesus.
Someone is wondering where am I? Yea! You are at the prayer session of overcomers by faith. And today is our praying day. The topic before us is going to teach us once again the Name to use when we are confronted with situations beyond our control.
Prayer is the key to any issues in life. Our God told us to call on Him. And there is no other channel to use to access Him faster than through prayer.
Beloved, when you worship or make offerings or pay your tithes. You are invariably making prayers. because prayers will convey your heart intent to God.
Are you still in search of the Name to use? Come and try “Jesus” and that problems, challenges will become once upon a time. Praise God!
Call on Him now as you pray and you will glad you did. Praise God. come along to discover more:
“If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:14
What a wide promise! Anything! Whether large or small, all my needs are covered by that word “anything.” Come, my soul, be free at the mercy seat, and hear thy Lord saying to thee, “Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.”
What a wise promise! We are always to ask in the name of Jesus. While this encourages us, it also honors Him. This is a constant plea. Occasionally every other plea is darkened, especially such as we could draw from our own relation to God, or our experience of His grace; but at such times the name of Jesus is as mighty at the throne as ever, and we may plead it with full assurance.
What an instructive prayer! I may not ask for anything to which I cannot put Christ’s hand and seal. I dare not use my Lord’s name to a selfish or willful petition. I may only use my Lord’s name to prayers which He would Himself pray if He were in my case. It is a high privilege to be authorized to ask in the name of Jesus as if Jesus Himself asked; but our love to Him will never allow us to set that name where He would not have set it.
Am I asking for that which Jesus approves? Dare I put His seal to my prayer? Then I have that which I seek of the Father.
Beloved, did you read that/ are you asking for that which Jesus approves? Sometimes we make prayers that will not answer. After this ministration, you will learn to make prayers that you will put His seal to. Let keep going:
“Their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.” 2Chronicles 30:27
Prayer is the never-failing resort of the Christian in any case, in every plight. When you cannot use your sword you may take to the weapon of all-prayer. Your powder may be damp, your bow-string may be relaxed, but the weapon of all-prayer need never be out of order.
Leviathan laughs at the javelin, but he trembles at prayer. Sword and spear need furbishing, but prayer never rusts, and when we think it most blunt it cuts the best. Prayer is an open door which none can shut. Devils may surround you on all sides, but the way upward is always open, and as long as that road is unobstructed, you will not fall into the enemy’s hand.
We can never be taken by blockade, escalade, mine, or storm, so long as heavenly succours can come down to us by Jacob’s ladder to relieve us in the time of our necessities. Prayer is never out of season: in summer and in winter its merchandize is precious.
Prayer gains audience with heaven in the dead of night, in the midst of business, in the heat of noonday, in the shades of evening. In every condition, whether of poverty, or sickness, or obscurity, or slander, or doubt, your covenant God will welcome your prayer and answer it from His holy place.
Nor is prayer ever futile. True prayer is evermore true power. You may not always get what you ask, but you shall always have your real wants supplied. When God does not answer His children according to the letter, He does so according to the spirit. If thou askest for coarse meal, wilt thou be angered because He gives thee the finest flour?
If thou seekest bodily health, shouldst thou complain if instead thereof He makes thy sickness turn to the healing of spiritual maladies? Is it not better to have the cross sanctified than removed? This day, my soul, forget not to offer thy petition and request, for the Lord is ready to grant thee thy desires.
Beloved are you blessed with this ministration. Please forward to your contacts to help their prayer lives.
Prayer is never out of season. It is also interesting to know that God answers prayer even in the dead of the night. He is never weary of your coming. In all condition, whether poverty, or sickness, or obscurity, or slander, or doubt, He will answer you.
And don’t forget all are possible with the Name J-E-S-U-S.
So let us pray.
Father in heaven O God according to Word answer us as we pray in Jesus Name.
Remain blessed in the Lord
