Thank You Jesus, Thank You Lord, glory, glory alleluia, Praise the Lord. thank You for the gift of this beautiful week, alleluia to Name, thank You for deliverance and mercies, thank You for Your goodness and mercies, thank You for healings and restoration, thank You for giving us grace and power and adoration in the highest. Glory be to Your Name on high in Jesus Name.

Beloved, how are doing today? Hope you had wonderful encounters all through the week. I have a super deliverance encounter and I am so delighted in my Father Who can do all things. Have you been experiencing diverse manifestation of the glory of God in your life through His Power? Jesus has been too kind to me and am sure you will testify same in your life and endeavors.

Beloved, it was an interesting week full with super teachings from on high- maintaining freshness from the Living water, staying super connected to our Father through three key things in our relationship with God- reading and studying the Word, Discipleship and praying always. We are to grid our to our tongue so that we will bring forth positive result rather than being destructive with it, yesterday we reminded ourselves the need to stand on the Excellence  of Jesus, our Rock of Ages, our Hope that faileth not, coming to the understanding that God is Omniscience, Omnipotent, Omnipresence, isn’t that enough to give us peace. Yes! It is enough to give us unfailing peace and hope to keep standing until our God come. Amen!

Beloved in our PCL session today we want to lay emphasis on the truth in the Word of God. Is important for us to know that God is constant in all He does and there is no changing of shadow in Him. He is our Ever Present Help, our Redeemer, the Soon Coming King. He is our All in All, Praise the Lord! Our Father is Holy and when He say a thing He stands by it, we also read about Him taking oat to confirm His promises to us.

Beloved, being God’s children do we have the same attributes? Can our word be “yes” when it should be “yes,” and “no” when it should be “no”? Can we always stand on the truth in the Word of God and stood by it? How many of us can face our errors in the past and stands by it? How many of us can stand by the promises we made irrespective of what is going on in the present.

When I left my secular work and was in deep financial crisis, one of the problems I had was to face the truth that my investment in stock is gone. I kept thinking there is way to turn the hand of the clock and recover my initial capital; I left the papers unattended until after so many years, after so much prayers and trusting God to heal me. I later went for reconciliation, at that point God showed up, He reduced the loses so much that I was happy, I got bonuses that nearly wipe away the initial lose and the prices of the stock rise almost doubling the amount invested.

It was such a traumatic experience for me but God helped me. Beloved, no matter how long you run away from the truth, it will still catch up with you, as you will later discover from today’s teaching. One of the ways of growing into maturity is by facing the truth about ourselves. You may not like it, it may not be who you are at the moment but can you be honest to yourself and admit where you have failed and ask God to help you. I did it and I am better today because I count on God in those situations where I cannot help myself, I know He knows (Omniscience) and He will surely help me.

So He will also help you if you will come to Him, just as you are, he will heal you and make you whole. He will not leave you nor forsake you, for He knows what you are made of-dust. Praise the Lord:

The Searchlight of Truth

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.—Psalm 139:23

To have “truth like a belt around [our] waist” means to be possessed by truth. If we are to defend ourselves effectively against the attacks of Satan, then truth and honesty are vital necessities.

The mental health experts tell us that being willing to face the truth about ourselves is an important part of our growth toward maturity. The same is true in the realm of the spiritual. How easy it is to hide from the truth and imagine ourselves to be truthful when really we are not.

Whatever his personal idiosyncrasies and his rebellious attitude toward Christianity, Sigmund Freud made an interesting contribution to our understanding of human personality when he documented with true genius the incredibly subtle ways in which we lie to ourselves. Psychologists call them “defense mechanisms,” but a more biblical view of them would be “lying mechanisms.” We would all much prefer to be called defensive than dishonest. But whenever we allow ourselves to be self-deceived, we not only impede our spiritual growth—we also lower our defenses against Satan. He thrives on deception, and if he can push us toward self-deception, he maintains a definite advantage over us.

Many of us might react with horror to the suggestion that we are being dishonest, for we would not dream of doing or saying anything that was not according to the truth. Yet it is possible to be open and honest on the outside and yet hide from truth on the inside. All of us, even mature and experienced Christians, are capable of hiding from truth.

Prayer

O Father, I see that if I am to overcome Satan, then I must know truth inwardly as well as outwardly. Search my heart today, dear Lord, and bring to the surface the things within me that are untrue. In Jesus’ name I ask it. Amen.

What are God’s people to turn from?

What does James warn against?

Are you here with us? Are resolved to be healed by standing by the truth no matter how you are hurting? Truth is constant we all know but can we abide by it?

I believe you are blessed, that healing is coming your way as it did to me several years ago when I faced myself and admit the truth that I cannot change; God took me from my brokenness and made a beauty to behold by many by what He is refining me into daily. I beseech you to come and plead with Him to search you as our text suggested and you will not regret ever doing so.

May God help us as we surrender ourselves to His searchlight in Jesus Name.

See you tomorrow as we sing “Glory in the Highest.” Is promising to be a super Carol service, see you then.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
