“The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.”

This is day the Lord made 2x (that the Lord has made) 2x, we will rejoice 2x and be glad indeed…alleluia this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it O! This is the day, another day that the Lord has made.// Thank You for the rain 2x Thank You for the later rain, for answering my prayers, confirming Thy words, Thank You for the later rain.// Is all over me, He is moving is moving me around, He is moving me around. Our Father we thank You, we bless Your Holy Name! We adore Thee we give You Praise, alleluia to the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, glory, glory, glory, alleluia Praise the Living Jesus Amen!!!

Our Father we cannot thank You enough for Your faithfulness all through this week, the acceleration You gave us in the midst of weakness, failure and fall. You lifted us from the pits/graves and set us to sit among princess, we will remain grateful and we worship You forever Amen!

Beloveth, when we lift our voices to Praise, God look down on us and realize His blessings that is a mystery that men over ages have been searching to unravel but remember that the secret things belong to God, He chose to reveal to us that which He want to know and if you tap into it you will be bless because that plan of God concerning those who reverence Him with a grateful heart irrespective of what is going on around them, they chose to see God than see their problems Praise the Living Jesus alleluia!!!

Don’t forget is Friday, is our PCL day, the last of it this month, is going to be exciting as ever and the Lord is going to bless someone today, if you are the one shout a believing Amen!!!

The sword of the Lord and of Gideon, beloveth we dwelt so much on Gideon some few months ago, we saw a man frighten to his inner marrow because of the threats of the enemies, they were held in hostage or better still called siege, no going out or coming in, it was bad that they when they plant the Midianites destroyed their crops that they may just have a handful to harvest and then Israelites cried unto God for help, and God sent an angel to Gideon and encouraged him and made his heart strong to fight against the Midianites in spite of his weakness God used Him to deliver His people.

Beloveth, we later saw Gideon so bold for the Lord that he conquered territories for Him. Our Bible text today is so important in our Christian race that you and I must pay attention to, it must guide our feet in the paths that are pleasing to God. Praise the Lord!!!

Beloveth, when God use Gideon to accomplish the deliverance of the Israelites from the hands of the Midianites, Gideon became an instrument in God’s hand. He went further to conquer territories for Him. He uplifted the Name of the Lord among the surrounding heathen nations and also in the eyes of the Israelites. He did not edify himself or begin to tell God what should be done instead of what God wants to be done.

We saw Gideon following the blueprint of God’s plan for the His children and that amount to a successful reign for him and he won the hearts of Israelites back to God as he made them to worship the only true God. Praise the Name of the Lord.

Beloveth, this is a solemn call to us today to point our family and friends to God the Almighty. We must follow the way of Gideon to show our God to the world. We must be available for God works, we must not rely on our ingenuity but on God Whose Name we profess.

Beloveth, we are to live holy, as we study yesterday, shine the light to the dying world and draw them to Jesus.

            “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.” Judges 7:20

Gideon ordered his men to do two things: covering up a torch in an earthen pitcher, he bade them, at an appointed signal, break the pitcher and let the light shine, and then sound with the trumpet, crying, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon! the sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!”

This is precisely what all Christians must do. First, you must shine; break the pitcher which conceals your light; throw aside the bushel which has been hiding your candle, and shine. Let your light shine before men; let your good works be such, that when men look upon you, they shall know that you have been with Jesus.

Then there must be the sound, the blowing of the trumpet. There must be active exertions for the ingathering of sinners by proclaiming Christ crucified. Take the gospel to them; carry it to their door; put it in their way; do not suffer them to escape it; blow the trumpet right against their ears.

Remember that the true war-cry of the Church is Gideon’s watchword, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!” God must do it, it is His own work. But we are not to be idle; instrumentality is to be used—”The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!”

If we only cry, “The sword of the Lord!” we shall be guilty of an idle presumption; and if we shout, “The sword of Gideon!” alone, we shall manifest idolatrous reliance on an arm of flesh: we must blend the two in practical harmony, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!”

We can do nothing of ourselves, but we can do everything by the help of our God; let us, therefore, in His name determine to go out personally and serve with our flaming torch of holy example, and with our trumpet tones of earnest declaration and testimony, and God shall be with us, and Midian shall be put to confusion, and the Lord of hosts shall reign for ever and ever.

Beloveth, may we not be found in this two evil – the sin of presumption and idolatrous reliance on an arm of flesh. May we look unto Jesus to help us in our walk with Him. May we also make ourselves, time and talent available for the Lord.

Don’t forget the Hand of the Lord makes a man, also remember that His strength is enough for you, then humbly yourself to be filled by the power of Holy Ghost and win souls for the kingdom.

May God help us to and guide us in the path of righteousness Amen! O God is so good to us alleluia Amen!

As He delivered the Israelites; so will He deliver us from every captives of satan Amen! He will lead us to major Breakthroughs if have faith in Him, live righteously uphold His Word, don’t be discouraged, pray fervently, don’t ever lose your liberty again to the world , sin and satan and the Lord will see you through to the end in Jesus Name Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
