Everlasting Father we thank You we bless Your Holy Name, we exalt, we give You Praise for everything You have done, we thank You for the gift of this week, we thank You for being God indeed to us, we thank you for answers to prayers, we thank You for walking through our challenges and giving us victory, glory alleluia be giving to You forever in Jesus Name.

Have Your way again and do that which only can do, help us today to be all You have made us to be, attain to our needs and lift up every burden from our heart, have mercies upon us and let your unpromising love be establish in our today and always in Jesus Name.

Beloved, how have you fared this week? Hope well? Our God is a good God, He will make every crooked path straight in Jesus Name. How excellent is the Name of our God! He ever faith and His plans towards are for good not evil.

We started the week standing on the righteousness of Christ. On our righteousness we cannot standing but surrendering ourselves to Him is the best thing we should do if we want to make to heaven at last. We also discover that we cannot stand firmly on the Christ righteousness except we are willing to accept the “Will” of God in totality. And this can only be achievable when we are willing to obey what God commanded to do without murmuring or passively accepting the “Will” of God as we also discovered.

Beloved, we were also thought that being in the “Will” of will help us live a purposeful life. Life as ordained by God is a life lives out even when in crisis we see Christ in it. When we are living a purposeful life, you don’t count on men but on God, though God uses men to work but He is the one to decides how it works out.

Today’s topic is none the lest in the series, “the Sword of the Spirit” Eph 6:17 said it all 17 “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Beloved are seeing what I am sensing in my Spirit mind? Standing in Christ righteousness, overcoming all manners of disappointments, standing always in God’s Will, effectively living out a purposeful live will not be possible without the Sword of the Spirit being our companion.

The Sword of the Spirit releases the truth we need in every situation, we accept and embraces God’s grace through the Word of life. Difficulty situations are leveled standing on the Word. All the arsenals of the satan and his cohorts are dislodge through the Word. We gain strength standing on the Word. Sickness and sorrow are terminated through the Word of God.

Beloved, do have the “Sword of the Spirit as your companion? Well if are still thinking about it, just join me to discover more of it important:

Deuteronomy 24:1-26:19, Psalm 45:1-5, Proverbs 11:5-6, Luke 10:1-24

                                            The Sword of the Spirit

I’m sending you out like lambs among wolves.—Luke 10:3

The last of the six pieces of the Christian’s armor listed in Ephesians 6 is “the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word” (Eph 6:17). John Stott points out that “of all the six pieces of armor or weaponry listed, the sword is the only one which can clearly be used for attack as well as defense.” And the kind of attack envisaged here is one that involves a close encounter, for the word used for sword is machaira, meaning a short sword or dagger.

There is much more to spiritual warfare than standing up to the Devil. We possess, according to James 4:7, the potential to make him “flee”: “Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.” The word “flee” is a very strong word in the original Greek. It means much more than just a strategic withdrawal; it means beating a swift retreat. What an amazing truth! It is possible for a Christian so to resist the Devil that he races away as fast as he can.

This truth must not be seen in any way as limiting the Devil’s power, for he is a strong and determined foe. It means rather that a Christian able to wield the sword of the Spirit can ensure that Satan is overpowered. We are right to develop a healthy respect for the Devil’s wiles, but we are wrong when we allow him to terrorize us.

We must have the assurance, given everywhere in the New Testament, that to engage in conflict with the Devil is not a hopeless task. We are not to indulge in overconfidence, but, at the same time, we are not to be frightened by him.

Prayer

O Father, the thought that I, a sinner saved by grace, am able to send Satan into retreat almost overwhelms me. Yet I must believe it, for Your Word tells me so. Help me understand even more clearly the authority I have in Christ. In His name I ask it. Amen.

Lk 10:1-20; Ac 3:6-8; 16:16-18; 1Pt 5:8-9

How much authority over Satan have we been given?

How did the early church exercise this authority?

Beloved, what an amazing truth! The Sword of the Spirit is our weapon of armoury that you and I must have in our possession always to beat back satan and his agents as we were instructed in the Word of God. Jesus defeated satan with Sword of the Spirit (Matt 4:1-11).

Do you understand the story behind the text of the message? He sent the disciples out with nothing but the Word which they have heard speak, and that He sent the forth and they came rejoicing how demons were subject to them beloved, pick up your bible and discover those Word that will enthrone you against the wiles and darts of the devil. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, ask the Holy Spirit to help you if you have not form the habit of reading your bible daily. I don’t mean reading Psalms, I mean having a bible plan or picking up the books of the bible to read and study as well. It helps you to understand the bible not in parts but in whole. You will no longer base your understanding in a portion of the bible but with a sound understanding of what the Word of God is saying per seconds.

Thank God for His Word that have given us victory over satan, our enemies and foes, glory be to Jesus. What a Mighty God we serve. Glory be to Father for rescuing us from satan and hell. Receive our praises Father forever more.

On this note beloved, I say have a wonderful weekend and remain in the “will” of God forever in Jesus Name. see on Monday y God’s grace!!!!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
