Unquestionable You are the Lord, unquestionable You are the Lord, unquestionable You are the Lord, unquestionable You are the Lord.
Father, we Thank You we blessed Your Holy Name, we worship You, we are adore You, be Thou be exalted forever in Jesus Name. Thank You for the gift of another day, a blessed one indeed to the glory of Your Holy Name. Father, we do not take it for granted that we woke up and was strong enough to move all parts of our bodies, we open our mouths and we form reasonable words, we went in and use the conveniences without help and without aid, Father we are grateful to You alone Who is ever Faithful to we, your creature.
Beloved, how was the first day of the passion week? I trust God for many and diverse miracles that will shock you. Be mindful of this season because it has been ordained to set free therefore be in the spirit to maximize the period.
A little addition to yesterday’s topic, Jesus on the way to Jerusalem and was accosted by some Pharisees among the crowd to tell His followers to stop declaring Him as the “blessed king that comes in the Name of the Lord” but Jesus replied “if they keep quiet, the stones along would burst into cheers!”
Do you know that many Christian are so quite now that stones are giving cheers to the King of kings? So many have become morbid that the inanimate objects are giving praises to God. Little are we hearing of a life crusade in our time that drew new covert coming to Christ weep having discovered how wretched they are outside Christ.
No more evangelism due to civilization, all the buildings in our environments are gradual becoming vessels unto dishonor. A Christian house owner will rather lent his house to be used to conduct unholy business rather than lent to be use by church or by a brethren.
So many cathedrals and churches are being use for ceremonials other than for soul winnings.
Government are gradual taking out Christian education and moral instructions from school curriculum all in the name of civilization and modernization even with fire brand brethren as heading the section.
Soon the stones will cheers the Lord. Beloved, what are doing? Are you an onlooker? Will you continue to shout the King of kings or listen to shout down from the uncircumcised philistines around you?
Your decision largely will determine your action, as Christ told His disciple while eating His last supper with them that one of you will betray me- one who is eating with me.
Are the one whom Christ our Lord Jesus is speaking of today? Having been with Him all these years, you still betray him by your utterances, actions and deeds.
Let me admonish those who think that they are standing to be care because the devil is an opportunist with your soul. He knows when best to strike. Come with me as we discover more on how to be on guide so that we will not fail Christ nor become prey to Satan’s evil schemes. Praise the Lord!
While they were reclining and eating, Jesus said, “I assure you: One of you will betray Me—one who is eating with Me!”—Mark 14:18
Surely I would never betray the Lord! Each disciple earnestly pled his loyalty to Christ. As they reclined together in the comfort and security of the upper room, in the presence of their Lord, the disciples could not imagine themselves ever wavering in their loyalty to Christ. Yet Jesus looked at them and said, “One of you who eats with Me will betray Me!” How was it possible to share such an intimate and profound moment with the Savior and then rush so quickly toward betrayal and spiritual failure?
During the intense pressures of Gethsemane and the cross, the disciples did things they never thought they would do. They had no idea how cruel and hateful the world around them would be to their Lord. Jesus had cautioned them that the world would hate them because it hated Him (John 15:18–21; 16:33). But only Jesus knew the full extent of the temptation they would face. In the pressure of the moment the heart does surprising things. Scripture had predicted Judas would betray Jesus, despite having walked with Him for over three years. But Peter, too, would deny Him, and all would forsake Him.
How quickly the surroundings of your life can shift from the security and tranquility of an upper room to the harsh reality of Gethsemane and the cross. Guard your heart. Listen now to the Lord’s gentle warning: the failure that was possible with His first disciples is also possible with you. You, too, are capable of forsaking Jesus, just as the first disciples did. If Jesus is warning you of an area in your life in which you could fail Him, heed His words today! Else you become a prey to the roaring lion:
Satan Is An Opportunist With Your Soul
After loosing the battle to tempt Christ into sin, the Devil departs “until an opportune time.” (Luke 4:13)
AN “OPPORTUNE TIME” – That is what the Enemy of our soul is soliciting from you as he “prowls about like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
Let me suggest five “opportune times” when Satan is most likely to strike:
- During periods of strength and success –
“But when (Uzziah) became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and was unfaithful to the Lord… ” (2 Chronicles 26:16a).
- When you choose to live by wrong priorities –
David, while at the pinnacle of his career got into trouble with Bathsheba because he was lounging when he should have been fighting (See 2 Samuel 11).
- When you decide to go against godly counsel –
Jehoshaphat, who for years had followed God in an exemplary fashion, chose to discount a prophet’s warning not to go to war. It cost him his life (See 2 Chronicles 18).
- When you, in your pride, think that you are capable of winning over Satan’s “stratagems” –”Put on the full armor of God… to stand firm against the schemes of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11, 13).
- During times of stress and fatigue –
Elijah hit a devastating low after his victorious but intense encounter with the 450 prophets of Baal, and after traveling a demanding day’s journey (See 1 Kings 18:37-19:4).
QUESTION: What steps do you need to be taking now to insure the fact that you are not Satan’s next victim… during an “opportune time?”
Beloved, what area is the Lord warning you, decides now to heed his call or you blame self at the end. Watch out for these moments mentioned above, add more if you know of any to be on guard. Heed the warning of our Lord Jesus Christ and be safe. Eve was the first victim, the list is still on, be vigilant and ask the Holy Spirit to help you.
