We are by the Grace of God before Him today to learn from Him, Thank God for His Spirit that is Present to teach us something new, to open our mind and reveal to us deep things of the Spirit that will make us worthy instruments in God Hand in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, Praise the Name of the Lord! Thanks be to God Who steadily backs us up in every battles we engages in. yesterday we were encouraged to be zealous in the Lord service and we must also remind ourselves also the need to be zealous in things God put in our hand, not slacking in the service of the Lord or our own duty. We will not be found wanting even in our secular jobs for that we make good stewards of the talents God invested in us.

And you know what, when you are zealous in your work, beloveth it pave way for you to serve God farther. Why do I say that, beloveth the Word of God said in Prov.22:29 “Seest thou a man that diligent in His work/business? He shall stand before kings; He shall not stand before mean men.” Again in Prov 13:4 ‘The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” You can read up the following verses of the Bible to see what the Word of God said about the zealous/diligent (Provs. 10:4; 12:24, 27; 13:4, 21:5,27:23).

God desires that His children should be diligent, live a purposeful life not life without purpose.

 Beloveth, God desires that we bear much good fruit (Jn 15:1-5). That can only occur if we are people who live life “on purpose”. Each day, we should prayerfully think through what we would like to accomplish that day and then purpose to do it. If we are vague and thoughtless, it is more likely that we won’t accomplish much at all. Vague people wait to see how they feel before taking action, but purposeful people take the proper action no matter how they feel about it.

We live in a world of distractions, and even purposeful people need to be wise and not get off track, many things scream for our attention, and yet it is up to each of us to decide what God would have us give our attention to. If I need to clean my house today, should I do that or go shopping with a friend who called at the last minute with an invitation? If I need to pay my bills and balance my bank account, should I do that or get distracted by television and sit on the couch most of the day? Many people live frustrated lives simply because they do not live on purpose.

When my day is over, I need to feel that I have accomplished something worthwhile. I want to have made progress in some areas of my life, and I believe that is the a desire that God has places in each of us, we feel fulfilled when we have confidence that we have done what we needed to do, but we feel frustrated if we feel we have just wasted the day. Even if we decided to rest all day, which is something that also be fruitful for our overall health, we need to do it on purpose! In short, my advice is this: Pray, Plan and Stay focused on purpose!

So a person who is zealous in his own business is most likely to be zealous in the Lord’s business too and vice verse. Praise the Lord!

Remember, though it is the Lord’s battle as soon discover from writing below but it is also expected of us to be armed even though we are not to trust in it.

Come on for more:

“There fell down many slain, because the war was of God.” 1 Chronicles 5:22

Warrior, fighting under the banner of the Lord Jesus, observe this verse with holy joy, for as it was in the days of old so is it now, if the war be of God the victory is sure.

The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh could barely muster five and forty thousand fighting men, and yet in their war with the Hagarites, they slew “men, an hundred thousand,” “for they cried to God in the battle, and He was entreated of them, because they put their trust in Him.” The Lord saveth not by many nor by few; it is ours to go forth in Jehovah’s name if we be but a handful of men, for the Lord of Hosts is with us for our Captain.

They did not neglect buckler, and sword, and bow, neither did they place their trust in these weapons; we must use all fitting means, but our confidence must rest in the Lord alone, for He is the sword and the shield of His people. The great reason of their extraordinary success lay in the fact that “the war was of God.”

Beloved, in fighting with sin without and within, with error doctrinal or practical, with spiritual wickedness in high places or low places, with devils and the devil’s allies, you are waging Jehovah’s war, and unless He himself can be worsted, you need not fear defeat.

Quail not before superior numbers, shrink not from difficulties or impossibilities, flinch not at wounds or death, smite with the two-edged sword of the Spirit, and the slain shall lie in heaps. The battle is the Lord’s and He will deliver His enemies into our hands.

With steadfast foot, strong hand, dauntless heart, and flaming zeal, rush to the conflict, and the hosts of evil shall fly like chaff before the gale.

Stand up! stand up for Jesus!

The strife will not be long;

This day the noise of battle,

The next the victor’s song:

To him that overcometh,

A crown of life shall be;

He with the King of glory

Shall reign eternally.

Beloveth, we are to be engaging, be it in the Kingdom work or in our secular work, not neglecting any. We must learn the required skill for our jobs, our duties, our roles, our ministry, our passion. We must also plan and prayerfully follow it up. As God makes a way for us to grow in stature; we will purposeful make our kingdom engagement fruitful in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, let us ask God to help us to bear good fruit in our lives, let Him help us in planning and in following through. May He help us not be distracted by time-wasters that get us off track and frustrated in Jesus Name!

Remain blessed in the Lord
