The topic before us today is a not just a Word but the promise of the Lord. The Lord of Host will perfect all that concerns us. Take away pains from our body, built you up and make you worthy for whatever service He has made you to accomplish while in this part of eternity before He calls you up to Himself to glory.

This is the interesting part. Will you be about Your Father’s business or will you be so occupied with your own plans and activity neglecting the great commission.

Have you ever given a thought of where you are returning when your time is over here? If you have, is also important that you find out your assignment you must accomplish that will grant you access back to the one who sent you.

God is look for that man or woman who is committed to Him. We must admit that we are strangers here, we must be looking forward to a country where we call our own- heavenly homeland. And that why God is not ashamed to be their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Are you looking forward to such country dearly beloved? Is very important that we put much effort in things that are above/ things in heaven, instead of things of earth. (Col 3:2).

As Christ has paid the price for your salvation it means that you die to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all His glory.

Our year of greater glory must manifest in our life beloved. Before the end of this year, you will arise and shine.

Don’t forget this your body will be fashioned anew. is a clarion call to pattern our lives after Christ and when He come back in glory we will be part of citizen of heaven, where He lives. Discover more:

“Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body.” Phil. 3:21

Often when we are racked with pain, and unable to think or worship, we feel that this indeed is “the body of our humiliation,” and when we are tempted by the passions which rise from the flesh we do not think the word “vile” at all too vigorous a translation. Our bodies humble u5; and that is about the best thing they do for us. Oh, that we were duly lowly, because our bodies ally us with animals, and even link us with the dust!

But our Saviour, the Lord Jesus, shall change all this. We shall be fashioned like His own body of glory. This will take place in all who believe in Jesus. By faith their souls have been transformed, and their bodies will undergo such a renewal as shall fit them for their regenerated spirits.

How soon this grand transformation will happen we cannot tell; but the thought of it should help us to bear the trials of today, and all the woes of the flesh, In a little while we shall be as Jesus now is. No more aching brows, no more swollen limbs, no more dim eyes, no more fainting hearts.

The old man shall be no more a bundle of infirmities, nor the sick man a mass of agony. “Like unto his glorious body.” What an expression! Even our flesh shall rest in hope of such a resurrection!

Keep going:

“I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” 2Corinthians 6:16

What a sweet title: “My people!” What a cheering revelation: “Their God!” How much of meaning is couched in those two words, “My people!”

Here is speciality. The whole world is God’s; the heaven, even the heaven of heavens is the Lord’s, and He reigneth among the children of men; but of those whom He hath chosen, whom He hath purchased to Himself, He saith what He saith not of others—”My people” In this word there is the idea of proprietorship.

In a special manner the “Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the lot of His inheritance.” All the nations upon earth are His; the whole world is in His power; yet are His people, His chosen, more especially His possession; for He has done more for them than others; He has bought them with His blood; He has brought them nigh to Himself; He has set His great heart upon them; He has loved them with an everlasting love, a love which many waters cannot quench, and which the revolutions of time shall never suffice in the least degree to diminish.

Dear friends, can you, by faith, see yourselves in that number? Can you look up to heaven and say, “My Lord and my God: mine by that sweet relationship which entitles me to call Thee Father; mine by that hallowed fellowship which I delight to hold with Thee when Thou art pleased to manifest Thyself unto me as Thou dost not unto the world?”

Canst thou read the Book of Inspiration, and find there the indentures of thy salvation? Canst thou read thy title writ in precious blood? Canst thou, by humble faith, lay hold of Jesus’ garments, and say, “My Christ”? If thou canst, then God saith of thee, and of others like thee, “My people;” for, if God be your God, and Christ your Christ, the Lord has a special, peculiar favour to you; you are the object of His choice, accepted in His beloved Son.

It is by faith indeed we appropriate the salvation that Christ wrought for us on the cross. It is by faith we believe in the resurrection power. Beloved, we must believe that our God is love and therefore nothing will harm us while He watch over us. (1 Jn 3:1)

Beloved, believe in this great transaction done. Believe in the Mighty power that can do all things and it will be well with you.

This week is declared blessed in the Name of the Lord. Let us go in His Name and return with testimony on Friday in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
