We give You glory, honour and adoration to You alone in Jesus Name!

Thank You for the gift of another day in Your Presence, thank You for answers to prayers, thank You for Word that will minister to our souls and situations, Thank You for accepting us as a living sacrifice, Thank You for Great and Mighty things You are doing in our lives and ministry, glory, honour, adoration belongs to you alone in Jesus Name!

Beloveth, good morning, what a blessed shower in this part of the world, which you may not have experienced, our God is Unquestionable, Reliable, Dependable, Unchangeable, let us magnify His Name forever more!

Wow! Can you guess why I said that? Hummmmm, sorry I can’t read your mind but I am perceiving that so many things are racing through the minds of so many readers, that quite correct, but I  said that base on the topic before us today.

If your guess is as good as mine, clap your hands and give a thumps up (laugh) and if not, you have not to worry, just give a smile, Praise the Lord beloveth!

What a saying, “Trust in Him at all times.” If you read through the whole scripture, you will see why the psalmist said that. In verse 9 and 10, he said “9  Common people are as worthless as a puff of wind, and the powerful are not what they appear to be. If you weigh them on the scales, together they are lighter than a breath of air. 10 Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the center of your life.

Beloveth, have you seen it? We are lighter than breath of air, then come a caution don’t live a lie and if your wealth increases don’t make it the center of your life.

Make God your trust; tell satan and his cohorts that Jesus is all you need. I came across this and it possible you have seen it too and is written thus:

         I need

  • TO GET BETTER
  • TO DO WELL
  • TO BE HAPPIER
  • TO BE LOVED
  • TO GET RICHER

       Jesus

Beloveth, of all that was on list above as important as it is, the need for Jesus stands out. Is a very big challenge in our world today to declare that you living for Jesus alone someone may misinterprets it, and call you names.

But I think what the writer is saying to us that Jesus is above all, more so when you have Jesus, every of those needs automatically becomes yours. Wow! Isn’t that profound?

Beloveth, how easy is it for you to go through this caring world saying that Jesus is all you need? With mounting bills to pay ranging from house rent (if you are still a tenant) to school fees (if you still have young children) food stocks and hospital bills.

Let’s face reality, when you are face with these and no good bank account to offset it, you discover you spend a lot of time thinking over your needs than worshipping God. It becomes a huge burden for you to carry and you resort to seeking help from your families and friends who might end up not being of help after all because of their own needs as well.

So how do you ensure that you trust God all the time? The psalmist gave us a cue, in verse 8b he said …”pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge.”

Beloveth is God your refuge? When last did you pour your heart before Him or are you among those who feel that God knows all your needs therefore you don’t need to remind Him about it, if He wants to do it, He will do it.

Beloveth that is ‘pride,’ Jesus said “….ask the Father in my Name, He may give it to you” (Jn 15:16) (KJV) and in Jn 16:24 He said “Hitherto you have asked nothing in my Name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full. In verse 26 “in that day you shall pray in my Name; and I do not tell you that I will ask the Father on your behalf;

Beloveth, our asking from those around us is it a sin? I don’t think so except you are instructed to wait on the Lord. However, it becomes sin when if you don’t receive from those you think would have help you then you give up. You don’t even want to pray or go back to God to help you. You become despair and become angry at everything and everyone including God.

But what are we suppose to do in the midst of our need, problem, or challenges? We must keep on upholding our faith in God, asking Him for direction and open ways, asking Him to send His help to us and in no time God will show up.

We must not give up in the face of our challenges rather we must keep reminding God to help us despite our inabilities.

May God help us in hour of our needs, send help to us and uphold us in Jesus Name.

Come along with us for more:

“Trust in Him at all times.” Psalm 62:8

Faith is as much the rule of temporal as of spiritual life; we ought to have faith in God for our earthly affairs as well as for our heavenly business. It is only as we learn to trust in God for the supply of all our daily need that we shall live above the world.

We are not to be idle, that would show we did not trust in God, who worketh hitherto, but in the devil, who is the father of idleness. We are not to be imprudent or rash; that were to trust chance, and not the living God, who is a God of economy and order. Acting in all prudence and uprightness, we are to rely simply and entirely upon the Lord at all times.

Let me commend to you a life of trust in God in temporal things. Trusting in God, you will not be compelled to mourn because you have used sinful means to grow rich. Serve God with integrity, and if you achieve no success, at least no sin will lie upon your conscience.

Trusting God, you will not be guilty of self-contradiction. He who trusts in craft, sails this way today, and that way the next, like a vessel tossed about by the fickle wind; but he that trusteth in the Lord is like a vessel propelled by steam, she cuts through the waves, defies the wind, and makes one bright silvery straightforward track to her destined haven.

Be you a man with living principles within; never bow to the varying customs of worldly wisdom. Walk in your path of integrity with steadfast steps, and show that you are invincibly strong in the strength which confidence in God alone can confer. Thus you will be delivered from carking care, you will not be troubled with evil tidings, your heart will be fixed, trusting in the Lord.

How pleasant to float along the stream of providence! There is no more blessed way of living than a life of dependence upon a covenant-keeping God. We have no care, for He careth for us; we have no troubles, because we cast our burdens upon the Lord.

Beloveth, did you read that ‘there is no more blessed way of living than a life dependence upon a covenant-keeping God. We have no care, for He careth for us; we have no troubles, because we cast our burdens upon Him.

Another quick one is that we are not to be idle that will show we did not trust God who worketh hitherto, but in devil who is the father of idleness.

Someone may want to argue this by saying ‘all these bad boys are they idle?’ Are they not working smart? Yeah they are working but what type of work are they into, working smart like you said but that is not working smart at all, they are rather being imprudent and rash trusting in chances rather than the Living God, who is a God of economy and order. They obtained their riches by sinful ways not by integrity and these are sin before God.

Beloveth, just go through this teaching again, am sure you will see your picture then ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

Thank God we dwelleth so much on The Second Person and The Third Person in Trinity towards the end of August, those teachings are going to be of tremendous benefits to us as we go through this month. May God help us all in Jesus Name.

Don’t be discourage, look steadily onto Jesus the Author and Finisher of your faith, amen!

A quick recap of this month theme is “Divine Guidance and Mega Breakthrough through Jesus Christ.”

A good foundation must be laid by the Power of God if we are to achieve the above and I believe, God will help us all as we go through the month (Ps 11:3).

Let us look at what Joshua told the children of Israelite towards the end of His sojourner in Josh 24:19- 24.

Don’t depart or turn away from serving the Living God, destroy all the idols in your heart and allow God to lead you.

Let us apply same in our life and if we don’t we may experience what is written in Prov 29:18, may God bless His Word in our hearts in Jesus Name….. Amen!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
