I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Ps 34:1-10 (KJV)

We thank You Father for the month of January, thank You for all You bestowed upon our lives, it was indeed an awesome time in Your presence. Thank You for Your blessings therein, we cannot thank You enough for Your wonderful deeds in the lives of Your beloved ones, whom You dealt with kindness.

By the grace of God upon our lives, we are glad to welcome you into the new month, another glorious moment in the presence of God Almighty, Whose desire is that none will perish but rather that all will repent and come to the saving grace of God. So beloved, we welcome you into your month of “Supernatural Greatness” (Mk 10:42-45). Again The Lord is promising us a great time with Him that will turn us into Giants in His Kingdom (both physical and spiritual). Read further for more insight:

“The love of the Lord.” Hosea 3:1

Believer, look back through all thine experience, and think of the way whereby the Lord thy God has led thee in the wilderness, and how He hath fed and clothed thee every day—how He hath borne with thine ill manners—how He hath put up with all thy murmurings, and all thy longings after the flesh-pots of Egypt—how He has opened the rock to supply thee, and fed thee with manna that came down from heaven.

Think of how His grace has been sufficient for thee in all thy troubles—how His blood has been a pardon to thee in all thy sins—how His rod and His staff have comforted thee. When thou hast thus looked back upon the love of the Lord, then let faith survey His love in the future, for remember that Christ’s covenant and blood have something more in them than the past. He who has loved thee and pardoned thee, shall never cease to love and pardon. He is Alpha, and He shall be Omega also: He is first, and He shall be last.

Therefore, bethink thee, when thou shalt pass through the valley of the shadow of death, thou needest fear no evil, for He is with thee. When thou shalt stand in the cold floods of Jordan, thou needest not fear, for death cannot separate thee from His love; and when thou shalt come into the mysteries of eternity thou needest not tremble, “For I am persuaded, that neither death; nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Now, soul, is not thy love refreshed? Does not this make thee love Jesus? Doth not a flight through illimitable plains of the ether of love inflame thy heart and compel thee to delight thyself in the Lord thy God? Surely as we meditate on “the love of the Lord,” our hearts burn within us, and we long to love Him more.

In Jn 13:13-17, 34 Jesus taught us one way to greatness in His kingdom is by loving as He loved us. But there is a mind blowing condition of “love” in Matt 5: 44 …”to pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you”. Is it a difficult task for you? You cannot show this level of love except with the help of God, all you need do is to surrender yourself to God, to love through you because of your own, you cannot do it but overtime it will become part of you by His grace upon your life. Come with me to see the real model of love – JESUS

“Thy love to me was wonderful.” 2Samuel 1:26

Come, dear readers, let each one of us speak for himself of the wonderful love, not of Jonathan, but of Jesus. We will not relate what we have been told, but the things which we have tasted and handled-of the love of Christ. Thy love to me, O Jesus, was wonderful when I was a stranger wandering far from Thee, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind.

Thy love restrained me from committing the sin which is unto death, and withheld me from self-destruction. Thy love held back the axe when Justice said, “Cut it down! why cumbereth it the ground?” Thy love drew me into the wilderness, stripped me there, and made me feel the guilt of my sin, and the burden of mine iniquity. Thy love spake thus comfortably to me when, I was sore dismayed—”Come unto Me, and I will give thee rest.” Oh, how matchless Thy love when, in a moment, Thou didst wash my sins away, and make my polluted soul, which was crimson with the blood of my nativity, and black with the grime of my transgressions, to be white as the driven snow, and pure as the finest wool.

How Thou didst commend Thy love when Thou didst whisper in my ears, “I am thine and thou art Mine.” Kind were those accents when Thou saidst, “The Father Himself loveth you.” And sweet the moments, passing sweet, when Thou declaredst to me “the love of the Spirit.” Never shall my soul forget those chambers of fellowship where Thou has unveiled Thyself to me. Had Moses his cleft in the rock, where he saw the train, the back parts of his God? We, too, have had our clefts in the rock, where we have seen the full splendours of the Godhead in the person of Christ. Did David remember the tracks of the wild goat, the land of Jordan and the Hermonites? We, too, can remember spots to memory dear, equal to these in blessedness.

Precious Lord Jesus, give us a fresh draught of Thy wondrous love to begin the month with. Amen.

Beloved, you will scale heights you never imagined is possible, if you will follow the principles the Lord will expose to us this month to attain your “Supernatural Greatness”. Remember “is not by power nor by might but by My Spirit said the Lord”. So don’t worry about “How” just make yourself available and you and I will be better at the end (2 Cor 9:8).

So endeavor to keep a date with us, as we navigate this path of TRUE Greatness through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
