Who is like unto Thee O! Lord who is like unto Thee O! Lord! among the gods who is like Thee You are glorious in holiness fearful in praises doing wonders alleluia.// who is on the Lord side I want to know I am on the lord side. Who is on the Lord’s side I want to know I am on the Lord side, can you hear me singing I am on the Lord sides my Saviour is on my side, as long as I live, as long as I stay I am on the Lord’s side.

Glory glory alleluia, glory glory Praise the Lord. Glory glory alleluia, glory glory Praise the Lord. Our Gracious Father we thank you we bless Your Holy Name, we worship You we exalt You, we magnify You, we give You Praise adoration to Your Name Lord! Thank You for another privilege to be in Your Presence and be blessed. No man comes in Your Presence and remain the same, a touch or a Word from is enough to break every yokes, set the captive free, heal the broken hearted and restore all that was lost to the devil. We Praise Your Holy Name for You are God and You able to make all things well. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, it is good to Praise the Lord, alleluia. It is good to Praise the Lord alleluia. It is good to Praise the Lord alleluia, Praise the Lord alleluia, Praise the Lord alleluia.

Beloved, thank God for who He is, thank Him for answers to our prayers, thank Him because He liveth forever more, He knows end from the beginning hence He spoke forth. All that is expected of us is to receive and agree that which is spoken of us will come to past even if the circumstance before us is raging like storms.

We must be ready to be like Mary to receive the spoken Word of God no matter how impossible your situation looks. Nothing can deify the Word of God. At the entrance of this month, the Lord declared “ease” among the packages coming along with His monthly promise (Theme) but behold the prince of Persia withstood us for two days and we could not post the message on the website even after ministering (Dan 10:10-13). Behold on the third day which was yesterday I started my day straight off to get that issue resolve. Everybody’s hand was on deck still it is looking seeming impossible but I did not lose site of the God’s promise therefore I was very much at ease, no panic, trusting God that it will be over soon and I remember telling God to show my service provider and the my IT manager what to do.

Even when all was done, I still was unable to post, then an idea struck my IT Manager who advised me to use another network to connect and immediately I did that we were on-line.

Beloved, nothing is beyond God and nothing is too big for Him to handle, all we need to do is to align ourselves with His Word and everything works out for good. It was a battle therefore us but we stood our ground and held everything contrary to the plan of God concerning us and we overcame. Yes! WE OVER CAME!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beloved from the day of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and only violent take it by force (storm) (Matt 11:12). I remember telling us that an “Overcomer” must have something to overcome else the aame will be of no effect and not far from when it was spoken the enemy struck, thank God we overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and by our testimonies as well. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, the topic before us today is a long awaited and we were over-joy when we came across it and we are so eager to bring it to the house. Oftentimes, situation or circumstance we are facing questions everything we desire and ever wanted. We see ourselves struggling in accepting the truth in the Word, seeing before us the Red sea in front and Pharaoh’s chariots behind. What do we do? How can I come out this dilemma? The What, when and how is always a big factor in our Christian faith but if only we step a bit further and rely solely on the Word of God whether inspired, written or spoken to us, we will get the desired result. Praise the Lord!

Recently I adopted Heb 12:2 as my map to traverse through the maze of life and it is working for me. I decided to care less about what is happening, why is happening and how do I come out it rather I decide to take everything to Jesus and lay it at His feet and rely solely on Him to sort me out (Ps 55:22, Matt 11:30). It is not an easy decision but at this point in my life I discover that is the best thing to do and it is also the will of God for us and do you know what, is the best decision I have ever made. Praise the Lord! Is working for me and I believe if you do, it will also work for you.

I don’t need to know how big the problems or challenges that are before me; all I need to see and know is how Big my God is, and that is why Heb 12:2 is the best thing that has ever happened to me in a long while. As a result of that decision I see Jesus walk in my situations and bring peace to the storms and command the dead to be alive again. Praise the Lord!

I also discover that a faith without foundation will soon collapse. Why did I say that? If you don’t have a place where you are putting your hope how can your faith blossom? So as I put my faith in Christ Jesus, as I make Him my Anchor, my boat remaineth secured even in a very troublous situation. Don’t forget He has the map and walking with him makes the journey easy and effective.

So “what is faith” as our topic puts it, come along to discover a new dimension in case you are not practicing same yet. Praise the Lord!

                             What Is Faith?

My son, if your heart is wise, my heart will indeed rejoice.—Proverbs 23:15

“A man’s belief,” says Dr Albert Ellis, a well-known modern-day psychologist, “determines both his conduct and his character.” Proverbs 23:7, written almost 3,000 years before Ellis, puts the truth in an even more succinct form: “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (NKJV).

There are two possibilities before each of us as we look at life: we can base our conclusions about the meaning of life on what the humanistic philosophers, poets, and historians tell us, or we can base them on what God tells us in His Word. Either we take the Word of God and live by it—or we do not. If we take the attitude that the prophets didn’t know what they were talking about and there are no such things as miracles in the universe, then we do what the writer to the Hebrews tells us—we draw back from the godly way of life (Heb 10:39). The biblical way is living by faith.

Listen to the word given to Habakkuk: “The righteous one will live by his faith” (Hab 2:4). Faith is taking the Word of God and relying on it. It involves believing what God says, simply and solely because He said it. The heroes of faith listed in Hebrews 11 did just that—they had no real reason for believing what God told them, other than the fact that He had spoken. Why did Abraham take his son Isaac to Mount Moriah? Why did he prepare to offer him as a sacrifice? Simply because God had spoken. A little boy, when invited to comment on the statement, “Faith is having confidence in what God has spoken,” said: “God has confidence in what He has said—so must we.”

Prayer

O Father, forgive my doubts and hesitancies—and help me to have an unshakable confidence in the truth and power of Your Word. Show me how to link my littleness to Your greatness. In Jesus’ name I ask it. Amen.

How does this chapter describe faith?

Write out your definition of faith.

Beloved, do you believe that God is able to all things? Do you believe that He that is in you is grater than he that is the world? If you then you are on the right path but if not you have make a u-turn and face the right way to faith- believing Him even in the impossible because to Him nothing is impossible. He is the God of All-Possibility! Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!.

We have come to the true knowledge of who God is (I wrote that yesterday) and there many verses in the bible that has more to say. Accept God did not  say a thing then we will be acting on presumption which is also a sin. We must say when God have not spoken to us. we must not say thus says the Lord when God is yet to speak in a matter but once God has spoken He back it up (Heb 6:17-20).

Beloved, we have to believe every Word of God because He said it not because of anything else, like we have it written above “…..because God has confidence in what He has said- so we must.” Praise the Lord!

So build your faith in God’s Word, it will not fail you (Isa 41:10-13, 43:10-11).

Remain blessed in the Lord
