So the lesson on Fridays afford us the privilege to see how others who has gone ahead of us have handle some issues you and I may be struggling with and know how best to navigate through it with the help of the Holy Spirit.

So I will encourage you to always keep a date with us because it will afford you to be well equip unto every good work and challenges of life. Praise the Lord.

Hear me child of God, do you know that you are an “epistle?” So, what are you writing? In your daily encounter with people, what are their perception about you? It is good we know about all these so that we are careful about how we live. How we conduct our affairs, business and the likes. (2cor 3:2; 2Tim 2:2, 15)

Don’t ever assumed that no one cares. Don’t ever think that no one notice. Always live with the consciousness that you are being watch. Why am I saying that? Your parents, husband or wife may not be there but there is someone who is ever presence at all time; at all places- Holy Spirit. Don’t forget He bears witness for every of your action. So you must be mindful not of man but of God.

Do you also know that you are an aroma? I can sense in my Spirit that someone is laughing loud now at the above statement. But that is the truth. The bible says that ‘we are aroma of Christ to God among those who are being save and among those who are perishing.’ Turn your bible to 2Cor 2:15 and read.

What does aroma does or put in another way, what is your perception about aroma? Let me give you mine. Aroma is an inviting smell that pull you towards either an individual, house (talking about the ambience) or towards foods or nourishment (edibles like rice, soups ice creams, fries) name it. It is an a pleasant smell not repellent.

Let us consider Rom 12: 1-2. Read Exo 29:18 and finally read Gen 8:21, what is your bible saying concerning all these.

Therefore if God is well please with the smell that comes from a lamb or offerings that were sacrificed on the altar on the old testament, how much more is He to be pleasing with you.

So you are encourage to know that you an aroma and should be pleasing to God by the way you live. Again know yea that you are also an epistle written by you and will be read by many also.

So the question is what are writing? Let get into the teaching of today to learn more:

What Is The Gospel… According To You?

You are writing a Gospel, a chapter every day,

By the things that you do and the words that you say.

Men read what you write – distorted or true,

What is the Gospel, according to you?” (Unknown)

It doesn’t take much to leave a negative mark upon those lost people in your life:

  • An unkind remark
  • A critical spirit
  • An off-color joke

Conversely,

  • An act of kindness
  • A gentle touch
  • A restrained tongue

Also leave an impression – Perhaps plant a seed and initiate a hunger that is the beginning of their quest for God.

Many of our friends who are outside of Christ will rarely, if ever, darken the door of a church.

But you can be sure they are reading the Gospel through your life… for good or for bad.

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ… ” (2 Corinthians 3:2, 3a)

SO, WHAT IS THE GOSPEL, ACCORDING TO YOU?

The Lord is calling on us this all important month to show an act of kindness to someone around you. Stop pretending that you don’t know. Stop showing unconcern, be “kind” and another level of dominion will be credited in your account in heaven which will manifest here on earth.

Another lesson to learn in the message below about God kind of kindness, let get going:

“When I cry unto Thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.” Psalm 56:9

It is impossible for any human speech to express the full meaning of this delightful phrase, “God is for me.” He was “for us” before the worlds were made; He was “for us,” or He would not have given His well-beloved son; He was “for us” when He smote the Only-begotten, and laid the full weight of His wrath upon Him—He was “for us,” though He was against Him; He was “for us,” when we were ruined in the fall—He loved us notwithstanding all; He was “for us,” when we were rebels against Him, and with a high hand were bidding Him defiance; He was “for us,” or He would not have brought us humbly to seek His face.

He has been “for us” in many struggles; we have been summoned to encounter hosts of dangers; we have been assailed by temptations from without and within—how could we have remained unharmed to this hour if He had not been “for us”?

He is “for us,” with all the infinity of His being; with all the omnipotence of His love; with all the infallibility of His wisdom; arrayed in all His divine attributes, He is “for us,”—eternally and immutably “for us”; “for us” when yon blue skies shall be rolled up like a worn out vesture; “for us” throughout eternity. And because He is “for us,” the voice of prayer will always ensure His help.

When I cry unto Thee, then shall mine enemies be turned back.” This is no uncertain hope, but a well grounded assurance—”this I know.” I will direct my prayer unto Thee, and will look up for the answer, assured that it will come, and that mine enemies shall be defeated, “for God is for me.” O believer, how happy art thou with the King of kings on thy side! How safe with such a Protector! How sure thy cause pleaded by such an Advocate! If God be for thee, who can be against thee?

All these I did for you, God is saying to you, what can you give in return? Take out time this week end and check if the Christian association of today decides to update the bible will the gospel according to you make a top list- food for thought.

Have a nice weekend and remember that you are writing daily an ‘epistle’ that will be read by those surrounding you in your neighborhood, offices, department, churches, schools, market and business environment, name it,

See you next week by the grace of God.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
