Heavenly Father we thank You, we bless Your Holy Name, we give You Praise, adoration to Your Holy Name. Great are You Lord! You are greatly to be Praise, adoration to Your Holy Name. Faithful are you Father, thank You for all You have done in m our lives, You are doing and will continue till the end of time in Jesus Name.

Beloved, praise the Lord, thank God is Friday, are you happy like me? Am celebrating, this month is almost done and every Word spoken to us has found expression in my life and I believe you have the same testimony, our God is faithful , He has not failed in the past, He will not fail us either. There is no shifting of shadow with Him, His Word are yea and amen. Glory to Him alone.

Beloved, in today’s ministration we are being admonished to fortified our wall, like yesterday we are asked to have the rich knowledge of Christ through which we can stand firm in face of challenges. We also learnt that having a good knowledge of God depend largely on how deep we dig the Word of God. for our relationship with God to grow stronger, we must feed it. God’s Word is that food.

Just like a baby cries out for milk, a Spirit made alive through faith in Christ has an appetite, too. But it is so easy to distract ourselves from being in tune with this hunger and thirst. Entertainment, busyness, even good things like family and family can get in the way of maintaining consistent Bible study.

Beloved, for you to fortify your Jerusalem, you must choose to make feeding your spiritual growth the top priority in your day. Instead of just checking it off and going on through your day, go slowly and really internalize it. Build your appetite for the bible by mixing up your habits. If you typically read straight through from beginning to end, skip around. If you typically just do one reading plan at a time, like this one, try taking a particular book of the bible and go through it multiple times. If you have a choice of versions in your language or speak another language, try reading in a different translation that you are use to.

Beloved, fortify your Jerusalem by selecting a meaningful passage and read it over and over daily until you have it memorized. Or rather than picking a passage at random, commit to a new bible plan before you finish the previous one. what will you do to make fortifying your spiritual wall a priority as protecting physical wall ie feeding your soul as much of priority as feeding your body).

Arise and ask the Holy Spirit to help you and when you do, you will see changes in your life and the Holy Spirit will give you the needed wisdom to manage every area of your life. we need wisdom in every area of our lives, and the world has a lots of wisdom to offer which is usually logical, reasoning, and values of this world which does not line up with God’s wisdom

Every time we pick up the bible to read it, we can take just a moment and ask God for wisdom. To speak to you how to apply His Word to your daily living Praise the Lord.

Come along for more:

“And they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.” Nehemiah 3:8

Cities well fortified have broad walls, and so had Jerusalem in her glory. The New Jerusalem must, in like manner, be surrounded and preserved by a broad wall of nonconformity to the world, and separation from its customs and spirit. The tendency of these days break down the holy barrier, and make the distinction between the church and the world merely nominal.

Professors are no longer strict and Puritanical, questionable literature is read on all hands, frivolous pastimes are currently indulged, and a general laxity threatens to deprive the Lord’s peculiar people of those sacred singularities which separate them from sinners. It will be an ill day for the church and the world when the proposed amalgamation shall be complete, and the sons of God and the daughters of men shall be as one: then shall another deluge of wrath be ushered in.

Beloved reader, be it your aim in heart, in word, in dress, in action to maintain the broad wall, remembering that the friendship of this world is enmity against God.

The broad wall afforded a pleasant place of resort for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, from which they could command prospects of the surrounding country. This reminds us of the Lord’s exceeding broad commandments, in which we walk at liberty in communion with Jesus, overlooking the scenes of earth, and looking out towards the glories of heaven.

Separated from the world, and denying ourselves all ungodliness and fleshly lusts, we are nevertheless not in prison, nor restricted within narrow bounds; nay, we walk at liberty, because we keep His precepts. Come, reader, this day walk with God in His statutes. As friend met friend upon the city wall, so meet thou thy God in the way of holy prayer and meditation.

The bulwarks of salvation thou hast a right to traverse, for thou art a freeman of the royal burgh, a citizen of the metropolis of the universe.

Beloved, make the book of Romans Chapter 12 your handbook in your daily walk with God as it guides you into all truth. Do not forsake the assembly of the righteous as it will also help you to fortify your Jerusalem.  Experience hands help you to grow faster and secure too.

Beloved, be at alert, marry your Bible and that will help and keep you favour with God Amen! Alleluia!!!

Have a beautiful weekend; see you on Monday if Jesus tarries.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
