Beloveth, if there is another man to be called in the hall of fame –faith… Caleb is the man… He is full of assurance that what God said shall surely come to pass… He want with Joshua to spy out the land and forty-five later he came to ask for His inheritance and He got same as promised; there was no default… Hummmm and who said that our God is not able to do what He says He will do…. Whenever you are in doubt of God’s ability…brother, sister read Psalms 24:1-2.
Another interesting thing about Caleb’s faith was that He asked for the mountain… where the Anakims were… They were strong people and the cities were great and fenced or fortified.
We serve a God of New Beginning… Joshua began again at age Eight-Five… God kept His promises which He made through Moses not one fail, because aside giving him the land for inheritance He (God) was also with him till he conquered all the land…Praise the Lord!!! somebody!!!
I believe God is ministering to someone today… Have you failed in the past… God is saying to you today “Begin again”…, is there a promise(s) you are waiting for fulfillment, God is saying “Is never late to begin again.” You think that time is against you and you are down- casted… God is saying to you “this is your appointed time to Begin Again” so get up and get going!!!
Beloveth what are trusting God for… the time to begin again is now… listen to Caleb in our text for the day in verse 10… He said, “And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as He said, these forty and five years…. Verse 11… As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in…verse 12… Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day….
I don’t know if there is a Caleb in the house that is asking for a ‘promised made’ or ‘a mountain’ if there is then this is the time to Begin Again… go for it…God will back you up as He did Joshua and Caleb…
Join us for more:
“Now give me this hill country the Lord promised [me] on that day, because you heard then that the Anakims are there, as well as large fortified cities. Perhaps the Lord will be with me and I will drive them out as the Lord promised.”—Joshua 14:12
Caleb’s faith in God never wavered though everyone around him doubted. God convinced Caleb that the children of Israel should enter the Promised Land, but the people were intimidated by giants and fortified cities (Num. 13:28–33). Their disbelief forced Caleb to wait forty years in the wilderness before he finally entered the Promised Land. Even after all those years, Caleb was as confident as ever in God’s power.
When God was dividing the land among the Israelites, the people were asking for the lush valleys and grassy plains. Caleb asked for a mountain. The Israelites had driven their enemies into the mountains, where they had built fortresses. This did not intimidate Caleb—he asked for a challenge! He did not trust in his own strength but in God’s presence.
Caleb longed to see God work in power, and he knew he would be less likely to rely on God if he dwelt in the easy places. He chose a situation in which he would have to trust in God. Caleb knew his inheritance from God was on the mountain. He refused to allow the difficulty of gaining it to stop him from enjoying all that God had promised him.
If you always choose the easy way, asking for the peaceful valleys, you will never see God’s power displayed to enable you to take a mountain. Seek out the mountains, and you will witness God doing things through your life that can be explained only by His mighty presence.
Yes… God is sovereign, He is Able…There is nothing difficult for Him to do… doubting God’s power can delay our access to God’s promises…likewise it can hinder us from inheriting God’s promises to us … like Cable let us learn to submit to God’s promises no matter how tough it seems to us for with God nothing is impossible …. God help us your children to stand on Your Word and promises and not on our strength Amen! Amen!! Amen!!! Somebody Praise the Lord!!! Alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Lord is making it easy for you… He will drive them away and you will inherit and possess your possession …alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don’t forget is your month of deliverance… The Blood of Jesus is speaking to that your situation right now… and the Hand of the Lord will perform the impossible for you.. . Alleluia… Isa 9:6
