Beloveth, good morning, how are doing today, good to be in the Presence of God, His glory will rob off on us and will make us radiate beauty and honour everywhere we go. Praise the Lord!

Beloveth, as the year is coming to an end, we need to put on whole armour of God so that we might able to withstand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph 6:10-12).

Let us not fall victims to evil circumstances that prowls round but let us watch upon with prayers that our spirit will safe and fervent serving the Lord. The days are evil no doubt but our hope is in the Name of the Lord Who made heaven and earth. God’s good grace saved us.

If there is anything the man after God’s own heart knew, it was that He could do nothing in his own strength. David needed the help of a Holy God to survive. He clung to His faith, even in most difficult times. You see evidence of this in the songs he wrote, Ps 121 is one of those songs that echo’s David’s deep dependence on the graceful care and provision of God.” I lift up my eyes to the hills from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

In this statement, David acknowledges that God is both His Creator and Sustainer. It is a beautiful psalm of worship that pushes readers to examine exactly who they depend on. When you choose to depend on yourself, or others around you, there is always some way to be let down (we spend time teaching on our dependency on God all through last month, if you want more of this please we refer you to last month series).

Brokenness is not mended by adding more brokenness. Brokenness only finds healing when it is fully restored and made new.

When Jesus came to die on the cross, He made a way for your brokenness to be made new. Just as He explained to Nicodemus in John 3, Jesus has come so people could be born again, not a physical rebirth, but a spiritual one- allows for the brokenness in your hearts to be made whole again through belief in Jesus. You get a brand–new life. that is good grace.

Now everyone who has received this grace is a part of family of God. You can access the people of God to help you remember where your help comes from. When you can’t speak, hey speak for you, when you can’t sing, they sing over you. Just like David reminded you in Ps 121, your spiritual family is there to help you, encourage you, and remind you that the hope you need for every circumstance is found at the cross

God is madly in love with you. Why else would He willingly die and take on the weight of your sin? Why else would He give you the people of God to lock arms with when times are tough?

Remember the sacrifice of Christ and join in Praise with the people of God. Watch the walls come down. Watch His Will be done. All because He chooses to extend His good grace to who call upon His Name and to as many who are lost searching for a way back to the folds.

Come along for more:

“Base things of the world hath God chosen.” 1 Corinthians 1:28

Walk the streets by moonlight, if you dare, and you will see sinners then. Watch when the night is dark, and the wind is howling, and the picklock is grating in the door, and you will see sinners then. Go to yon jail, and walk through the wards, and mark the men with heavy over-hanging brows, men whom you would not like to meet at night, and there are sinners there.

Go to the Reformatories, and note those who have betrayed a rampant juvenile depravity, and you will see sinners there. Go across the seas to the place where a man will gnaw a bone upon which is reeking human flesh, and there is a sinner there.

Go where you will, you need not ransack earth to find sinners, for they are common enough; you may find them in every lane and street of every city, and town, and village, and hamlet. It is for such that Jesus died. If you will select me the grossest specimen of humanity, if he be but born of woman, I will have hope of him yet, because Jesus Christ is come to seek and to save sinners.

Electing love has selected some of the worst to be made the best. Pebbles of the brook grace turns into jewels for the crown-royal. Worthless dross He transforms into pure gold. Redeeming love has set apart many of the worst of mankind to be the reward of the Saviour’s passion.

Effectual grace calls forth many of the vilest of the vile to sit at the table of mercy, and therefore let none despair.

Reader, by that love looking out of Jesus’ tearful eyes, by that love streaming from those bleeding wounds, by that faithful love, that strong love, that pure, disinterested, and abiding love; by the heart and by the bowels of the Saviour’s compassion, we conjure you turn not away as though it were nothing to you; but believe on Him and you shall be saved. Trust your soul with Him and He will bring you to His Father’s right hand in glory everlasting.

Beloveth God’s good grace saved us and so we must endeavour to extend same grace to others who are outside the folds, be watchful, look at every cranny and see the sinners lurking around everywhere and bring them back into the household for the Lord.

There is health in fellowship and God loves to have fellowship with us too and from the base things of life He chose you and I. Make this Christmas eventful, go looking for the lost and make sure that saved, add to the Kingdom business.

Praise the living Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord!
