Beloveth, we used this week to have a holistic look on our nature as man. When a man have not been regenerated, it is impossible for such a one to please God. For a carnal man cannot please God but when we confess our sin and surrender our lives back to Christ in return for His love upon our lives, we are counted worthy before God.

Beloveth, all have sin and come short of the glory of God! Let us therefore with humility bow before God and ask for His mercy upon our life. May He give us grace (liberation) our lives again to be pleasing unto Him in Jesus Name.

What I wrote after this paragraph was receive from my friend and my sister in the Lord through a whatsapp video and after listening to it and I decided to share it with us here to further drive home the mystery of “the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Greek word for “It is Finished,” is one word TETELESTAI that was used in business which meant the debt is fully paid. And it is also used in judgment and in the court system which meant the sentence is fully serve. And is also used as a military term TETELESTAI which means the battle has been fully won. So when Jesus said that “It is finished.” This is what He going to bring you rest, He meant three things, first Your Debt of Sin is fully paid. Secondly, the Sentence for punishment and judgment for us for what we deserve, the time of being in bondage has been fully served.. Thirdly, the Battle against the devil and sin and all the enemies -sickness and disease and viruses, the battle has been fully won. Rest in the finished work of the cross, “It is finished “TETELESTAI” Debt is fully paid, Sentence is fully served, Victory is fully won, the Battle is fully won and you get the Victory. Jesus fights the battle; you and I get the victory.

Does that satisfy your mind knowing that the battle has been won on your behalf by Jesus, who we were taught is now sitting at the right hand side of God interceding for us? Intellectual mind cannot comprehend it, neither will those with carnal mind understands it.

Beloved, let this assurance gives hope that you are not living in vain but just as Jesus said “I am going to prepare a place for you so that where I am you will also be (Jn 14:1-4).

His death on the cross is what will pave way to that eternal glory hereafter. Praise the Name of the Lord!

Come on for more:

“Behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague.” Leviticus 13:13

Strange enough this regulation appears, yet there was wisdom in it, for the throwing out of the disease proved that the constitution was sound. This morning it may be well for us to see the typical teaching of so singular a rule.

We, too, are lepers, and may read the law of leper as applicable to ourselves. When a man sees himself to be altogether lost and ruined, covered all over with the defilement of sin, and no part free from pollution; when he disclaims all righteousness of his own, and pleads guilty before the Lord, then is he clean through the blood of Jesus, and the grace of God.

Hidden, unfelt, unconfessed iniquity is the true leprosy, but when sin is seen and felt it has received its death blow, and the Lord looks with eyes of mercy upon the soul afflicted with it. Nothing is more deadly than self-righteousness, or more hopeful than contrition.

We must confess that we are “nothing else but sin,” for no confession short of this will be the whole truth, and if the Holy Spirit be at work with us, convincing us of sin, there will be no difficulty about making such an acknowledgment—it will spring spontaneously from our lips.

What comfort does the text afford to those under a deep sense of sin! Sin mourned and confessed, however black and foul, shall never shut a man out from the Lord Jesus. Whosoever cometh unto Him, He will in no wise cast out.

Though dishonest as the thief, though unchaste as the woman who was a sinner, though fierce as Saul of Tarsus, though cruel as Manasseh, though rebellious as the prodigal, the great heart of love will look upon the man who feels himself to have no soundness in him, and will pronounce him clean, when he trusts in Jesus crucified.

Come to Him, then, poor heavy-laden sinner,

Come needy, come guilty, come loathsome and bare;

You can’t come too filthy—come just as you are.

You are proclaimed clean and all that is dead in you are coming alive right away in Jesus Name! Beloveth, rest in the finished work of Calvary and see the glorious moment coming your way in Jesus Name!

Beloveth, thank God for Jesus, thank God for salvation, Thank God for grace and mercy that are abound.

Have a wonderful and fulfilling weekend, see you on Monday by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
