Gracious God we are grateful for all that You have done in our life, families, career and ministries blessed by Thy Holy Name. What a blessed week, for every day You were faithful to wake us up and empowered us to excel, thank You Father. This month has come and by His grace we will see the end in Jesus name.

Jesus is our light and salvation (Jn 1:4). And hence it follows that this life must be the light of men, by giving them the knowledge of this life, and of the way leading to it (Gen 3:20) and the Light shinneth in darkness and darkness comprehended it not, it hindered it not.

Even in the midst of that darkness of ignorance and idolatry which overspread the world, this light of Divine wisdom was not totally eclipsed for in Him we live and move and have our being (Act 17:28) therefore every works of darkness in our lives and families are ending today in Jesus name:

The Divine Light In Darkness

“For thou wilt light my candle.” Ps. 18:28

It may be that my soul sits in darkness; and if this be of a spiritual kind, no human power can bring me light. Blessed be God! He can enlighten my darkness, and at once light my candle. Even though I may be surrounded by a “darkness which might be felt,” yet He can break the gloom, and immediately make it bright around me.

The mercy is, that if He lights the candle none can blow it out, neither will it go out for lack of substance, nor burn out of itself through the lapse of hours. The lights which the Lord kindled in the beginning are shining still. The Lord’s lamps may need trimming, but He does not put them out.

Let me, then, like the nightingale, sing in the dark. Expectation shall furnish me with music, and hope shall pitch the tune. Soon I shall rejoice in a candle of God’s lighting. I am dull and dreary just now. Perhaps it is the weather, or bodily weakness, or the surprise of a sudden trouble; but whatever has made the darkness, it is God alone who will bring the light.

My eyes are unto Him alone. I shall soon have the candles of the Lord shining about me; and, further on in His own good time, I shall be where they need no candle, neither light of the sun. Hallelujah!

The lord will indeed make us to shine forth in due time, no power or principality can stop it. For all powers belong to our Lord Jesus. However, it is very necessary for us to always keep touch with our Maker to check our spiritual level.

Just a routine check up to know  how well you are doing, than you answer this question, are Spiritual declining or growing?

Spiritual Decline: Are there parallels between Israel’s spiritual decline and ours? She was:

Unappreciative — “Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Thy wonders; They did not remember Thine abundant kindnesses, but rebelled by the sea (Psalm 105:7)

Independent — “They quickly forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel: (Psalm 106:13)

Sensual — “[They] craved intensely in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. (Psalm 106:14)

Secular — “They exchanged their glory for the image of an ox that eats grassThey mingled with the nations, and learned their practicesAnd served their idols, which became a snare to them. (Psalm 106:20, 29, 35, 36)

Discontent — “They despised the pleasant land[They] grumbled in their tents (Psalm 106:24a, 25a)

Void of Faith — “They did not believe in His WordThey did not listen to the voice of the LORD.” (Psalm 106:24b, 25b)

Resistant to the Holy Spirit — “They were rebellious against His Spirit (Psalm 106:33a)

Willing to sacrifice her children — “They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons, and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan (Psalm 106:37, 38a)

We identify with William Bennett’s comment, “We have a real problem in this country when it comes to values. We have become the kind of societies that civilized countries used to send missionaries to.

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)

When God rescues a nation, He always uses a man:

I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30)

QUESTION: What do you think God would have you do on a personal level to make a difference in the Nation? Are you up to the challenge?

Where are YOU on the scale of 1- 10? Remember the bible told us to judge ourselves so that will not be judge.

See you next week by God’s grace when the month will be rounding up and a new month not too far away. The new month will be full of expectation, I will be part of it, what about you?

Remain blessed in the Lord.
