Onward Christian soldier, fight on for the battle is not yours but the Lord, fight with all your strength as the Lord has won the battle for you. Do you remember the battle of Jericho? The Lord has given the children of Israelite the victory yet He ask them to go war but now not with swords or axe but with a “great shout.” As the obey the command of the Lord and go round the city for six days then on the seventh day with a great shout the walls of Jericho come down flat.
Beloved, do you also remember the war between King Jehoshaphat and the three kingdoms that came to fight against him, like what happened in the time of Joshua, as against the weapon of war, the children of Israel used a weapon of Praise as commanded them of the Lord and the Lord set an ambushments against the three kingdoms and they utterly destroy themselves.
Beloved, we are in such a season again, when God will rise and bring shame upon men who do not know that the earth is of the Lord and it fullness thereof. The Lord will laugh at them again as He will have them in derision. For the King of the earth have set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His anointed, saying “let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us.
If you look round the world, you will see world powers playing out but what they forgot is that they are mere mortals and have no control over the world. Instead of the seeking counsel from the Lord’s anointed, they shut them off and shut down the places of worship. Instead of seeking God’s face and counsel in what befall us as a nation, they put God aside thinking that scientist have the answer they are looking for. But with that foolish decision they have lost their citizens more than should have been if they have brought God into it.
This is pointing to the facts that they is a collaborations among nations of the world to overrun the Creator of the universe, you and I are witnesses on how God judgments are coming upon them in spite of their huge investments in research still no meaningful result.
People are healed because their families and the church of God are praying and interceding on their behalf. Brethren we must continue to pray and don’t give up. Pray because our help will come from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Jesus also commanded us to pray and cease not as that is the only way out of satanic manipulations. Pray and never give up.
Don’t be dismay at what is happening in our world today, we shall all watch and see the end of the plague. It will not come near our dwelling place. They shall fall in their thousands and ten thousands none shall come near us. For the Lord shall war against them and defend us. The sacramental host of God’s elect is warring still on earth, Jesus Christ being the Captain of their salvation. He has said, “Lo! I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Hark to the shouts of war! Now let the people of God stand fast in their ranks, and let no man’s heart fail him.
It is true that just now in England the battle is turned against us, and unless the Lord Jesus shall lift His sword, we know not what may become of the church of God in this land; but let us be of good courage, and play the man. There never was a day when Protestantism seemed to tremble more in the scales than now that a fierce effort is making to restore the satanic antichrist to his ancient seat.
We greatly want a bold voice and a strong hand to preach and publish the old gospel for which martyrs bled and confessors died. The Saviour is, by His Spirit, still on earth; let this cheer us. He is ever in the midst of the fight, and therefore the battle is not doubtful. And as the conflict rages, what a sweet satisfaction it is to know that the Lord Jesus, in His office as our great Intercessor, is prevalently pleading for His people!
O anxious gazer, look not so much at the battle below, for there thou shalt be enshrouded in smoke, and amazed with garments rolled in blood; but lift thine eyes yonder where the Saviour lives and pleads, for while He intercedes, the cause of God is safe. Let us fight as if it all depended upon us, but let us look up and know that all depends upon Him.
Now, by the lilies of Christian purity, and by the roses of the Saviour’s atonement, by the roes and by the hinds of the field, we charge you who are lovers of Jesus, to do valiantly in the Holy War, for truth and righteousness, for the kingdom and crown jewels of your Master. Onward! “for the battle is not yours but God’s.”
Beloved, did you read that “let us fight (pray) as if all depends on us , but let us look up and know that all depends upon Him. Is that your case child of God? Are you praying? Are you interceding for the world at this important time? It will be wickedness to keep mute at such a time like this, therefore we must pray/fight and look up to God Who has answers to all our questions.
Let us remember all those who are hurting at this time that God will comfort them and make them to see Him rather than their challenges.
Let also pray for those who are seriously ill in the hospital and also those who cannot access medical treatment that God will walk in their situation and grant them good health in Jesus Name.
Let us pray for the children whose parents are dead that God will position good helper that will raise them up in the fear and admonition of God.
Let us also pray for those who are taking care of the sick and the health workers that God will use them to bring succor to the hurting in Jesus Name.
Let us pray for all those who are hungry that God will send help to them and alleviate their pains in Jesus Name.
Let us pray for the religious leaders that God will help them even at this trying time of His church, give them wisdom to hold the folks together. Empower them to pray and bestow healing virtues upon them as they counsel His children in Jesus name.
We must also pray for those in authorities to seek help from above. That they eyes be open and their understanding be enable to see God above them. Let their humble themselves before the throne of God so that healing will flow in their land.
We decree that job lost will not be the order of the day in Jesus Name. And if it pleases God for us to let go of our present jobs that God in His infinite mercy will help us and establish us again to the glory of His Name in Jesus Name.
All these and many more we ask through Christ our Lord.
Beloved, don’t forget to continue to pray as God will answer us if we don’t give up. Praise the Name of the Lord.
