Father, we cannot thank you enough for Your goodness and for Your wonderful works to the children of men. Glory be to O Lord! Thank You Lord for the glorious things you have done and will continue to do in our life. Our Lord is good to all that put their trust in Him. Yes! He will never leave us nor forsake us as we hold unto His Holy Name. His goodness and mercies shall follow us and will abide with us all the days of our life in Jesus Name.

Beloved, I sing and rejoicing before the King of kings, My Ocean Divider, The One Who is and He is Yet to come. I will exalt His Name forever and ever faithful is the Lord Whose Word never fall to the ground. Great are His Mighty works among men. I don’t know how to thank Him for all His goodness in my life, my family, my career, His entrusted ministry I don’t know how to worship Him for His faithfulness and mercies that lead us all through the year. He is mighty King. Heaven and earth are full of His glory.

Beloved, this is our last PCL for year 2018, Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Alleluia. Our Lord is good; forever O Lord, Your Word is settle in heaven. Let us thank God for the grace granted unto us to run through this year without falling. Even when the tempest was tough and high, the Lord held us up; He did not allow the enemy to overwhelm us with pressure. Even those friends that turn oppressors, the Lord put them to shame by giving us a way of escape. For it only God we must bow to. When the floods of live wanted to cover us; the Spirit of the Lord raised a standard against it and gave us victory, indeed our Lord is good to us and to all who trust in Him.

He did not fail us neither did He forsake us, glory be to His Name on high. Come let us exalt His Name forever and ever. How wonderful is our God.

It may have been tough for you all through the year, is possible You have been asking when will an end come to that situation you are facing. There is an answer to your question, the teaching of today has a good and right answer to all your question and search you have engage in all through the year.

Never mind what is going on, God will always place your character development over your comfort. The values you in your life that you so desire and cherish will be subjected to the fire of Holy Ghost to purify it and make it acceptable to God. So where it does not meet up to the standard of the God, the Spirit of God will take it away from the life if you sincerely desire His touch in your life.

We spent a whole year working in our character, values, our attitude to grow towards that which will be an acceptable sacrifice to God. Victory over sin and sorrow does not just happen but the Holy Spirit works in us, work through us and make it a reality. The Lord helps us through His Spirit and perfects everything concerning us.

I am so happy that you are still there standing firm, may the Lord bless you and as we gradually round off the year and by the grace of God will be usher in into a higher realm of blessings as will be ordained by God to make us better instrument in His hands you will not be found wanting.

The Lord will preserve you and keep you through and through to the glory of His Name. Amen!!!!

God Places Our Character Development Over Our Comfort

 

I asked God for strength, that I might achieve. I was made weak, that I might humbly learn to obey:

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decreesBe merciful to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief. My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction, and my bones grow weak.” (Psalm 119:71; 31:9, 10) (See Psalm 119:67; Hebrews 12:10)

 I asked for health, that I might do great things. I was given infirmity, that I might do better things:

 “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we dont know why things happen as they do, but we dont give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep goingSee, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this… ” (2 Corinthians 4:8, 9 – Living; Isaiah 48:10, 11a)

I asked for riches, that I might be happy. I was given poverty, that I might be wise:

 “Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before himWhat good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (James 2:5b; 1 Corinthians 1:27-29; Matthew 16:26) (See Proverbs 3:13-18; 4:7-9; 8:10, 11, 19-21; Luke 6:20; James 1:9)

 I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness, that I might feel the need for God:

 “We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.” (2 Corinthians 1:8, 9) (See 2 Corinthians 4:7-11)

 Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among men, most rightly blessed!

 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:3-5)

 Beloved, the Lord orchestrated our paths of lives to bring out good from it, may we like Mary ever submit to the will of God all the days of our lives in Jesus Name. Come and see the values of men which always in contrast with the virtues God desires of us:

 

 Our Values

 

Power. Intelligence. Athletic ability. Efficiency. Winning. Affluence. Visibility.

These are among the values we hold in high esteem, idolize… even worship.

Human frailty, failure, weakness, and poverty we avoid like the plague.

In our society there is little room or tolerance for those who are second or third string. Not a lot of respect among us for older people — they’re out of date. Slow. Not “with it.”

So what happens when God decides to deal with our pride through illness and frailty… possibly through failure? What happens when we cannot call the shots, control the circumstances, or determine the outcome?

Is our peace of mind and our sense of worth so fragile that it is predicated upon the guarantee of life’s optimum circumstances or upon a continual string of successes and recognition? Or is it based upon an inner intimacy with Jesus Christ? If not, then God has some serious spade work to do on our soul.

Remember, our Sovereign Father’s two primary objectives are His glory, and the development of our character into Christlikeness, and He will use whatever means necessary to accomplish them. Pain, C. S. Lewis argued, may well be God’s megaphone to a morally deaf world.

I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, for My own sake, I did this. How can I let Myself be defamed? I will not yield My glory to another.” (Isaiah 48:10, 11)

As long as we are relying upon our accomplishments or bowing to the world’s idols to gain our peace or sense of worth, God is unable to work in and through us. Because it is only in our weakness… yes, in our dependency upon Him that He chooses to work and to give us inner-contentment:

He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christs power may rest on me. That is why, for Christs sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, 10)

I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:12b-13)
