Thank You Lord for a beautiful week ahead of us, a blessed day in You have made for us to be part of, glory be to Your Name on high. You are big, You are not just big ooo, You are not just large, You are a Great God.
Beloved that’s my song unto the King of kings and the Lord of lords this morning for He is God, He is bigger than what we call Him. Everlasting is His Name, what a loving Father we serve.
We are by His grace into another week of this glorious month, a month of rejoicing with new songs in our mouth. The Lord promised to give us songs and we ought to offer it back unto Him as a sweet smelling sacrifices. Great are His work in our lives and situation. Glory be to His Name.
How was your weekend? Hope it was splendid. Glory be to God on high. Yes blessed be His Holy Name. How excellent is His Name. The God Himself will make this week a blessed one. We will not sorrow all through this week in the Name of Jesus. Our joy will not be amputeed in Jesus Name. Good news will continual be heard in our camp in Jesus Name.
Beloved, just recently the Holy Spirit expound something to me that I will like to share with you. Is possible like me you know what “Shame” is. You also know what “Sorrow” is. What about “Defeat?”
The Spirit of God expounded the word “defeat” to me in a way that that is not known to me before then.
Because you are aware of what shame is, you work so hard to guide against it, likewise sorrow. How do work around defeat? Some many people have given up in their pursuit for one reason or the other. You have labored so much over a thing and all of a sudden you throw in the towel and call it a quit.
Have you ever asked yourself, what happened? Why the sudden change of mind? Why did you give up on what seem your life before now? Why surrender to the pressure that is after you to quit.
So many children of God has been beaten to it all in guise that it is not God’s will or it is not meant to be. We bow to pressure by satan and his cohorts to frustrate us out of the blessings in our promise land.
Beloved, have encounter you what I am discussing now? Have you experienced it or have seen someone who has gone through it?
Recently a sister was gloriously decorated by God after Eleven years of living in shame and sorrow. The husband left her with the only child they had and travelled out the country in search of greener pasture. This sister was heavily pregnant and later gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. For eleven years the children did not see or know who their Father is. The sister practically eat from hands to mouth. She had to provide for these three gifts from God from nothing. But she remained faithful and trusting.
Each time I ran into her or we met at fellowship, we share words of encouragement. Then come this faithful Wednesday afternoon (Last week to be precise), I ran into her and she called on me beaming with smiles, she said, “Aunty, my husband is back.” No, I did not hear her well with a dropped lip I said, “what did you just say,” she repeated herself and I ask when and how. She narrated how he later communicated to her and asked to get a flat that he is coming back. And that faithful day I ran into her was the day the man came back. I point at the children and asked her “what was his reactions when he saw his twins?” She answered that they are yet to meet him. At this point I can no longer keep her waiting but asked her to run home with them.
Beloved, in my next meeting with this sister, my dear sister who knew nothing but shame for over eleven years of her married life told me that the testimonies of her faithfulness why her husband was away even from unbelievers made her husband to buy a jeep for her. She said “Aunty, I am now learning how to drive” I screamed.
Beloved, I am not just telling you a story but I want you to visualize in practical form what this woman has gone through in terms of paying rent, school fees, clothing and feeding her family. Thank God for goodly women who helped in one way or the other. Each time I call her to bless her either with food or clothing, you will see that joy, those smile of gratefulness. This is a woman that is a car owner and she also told me that she is looking for a shop for lent where she will commence a business.
Listen when she left me I simply screamed God’s Name and said God if you can remember this sister and change her story then everyone is in line for your miracle.
Later dearly beloved, the Holy Spirit visited me and gave me this counsel, “Is only those who persevered to the end that receive such a blessings from God,” She resisted defeat.
She did not give up, she held on until her miracle came. She hanged on and let go thereby engaging the Hand of God and God honoured her.
Did you hear that, she hanged on and let go and thereby engaging the Hand of God and God honoured her.
Did it not occur to you that she would have abandoned those children and remarried? Don’t you think she would have also engaged herself into flirting all with the excuses that she had to feed her young?
Rather this young sister dwelled in the house of God. Going from one program to another, she also share me the prayer points she was praying when her husband refuse to come back having suffered some set back over there. She said, the man said he will not come back empty. She told me aunty, I have to change my prayer point from “God bring him home to God bless him.” God honoured her prayers, bless her husband and he is finally home after eleven solid her. I am not telling you a story that I did not know for I had a son who is going to turn twelve this month before her first son then the coming of the twins.
Beloved, where have the enemy cheated you? What are those dreams and/or projects that you gave up on? What are things that you quit because the experiences are not palatable? What are those things you are about to quite?
Now, hear me you have allowed the devil to defeat you. Will you allow him to do that? Will you allow him to have his way? Remember Jesus is the only “Way” aside Him every other way leads to regret, destruction, and hell.
Arise now and cry unto God, He will deliver you and bless you. God changed the story of this young woman will also change your story. He will not abandon you, neither will He forsake you. He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever (Heb 13:8).
God said “I Am Who I Am”. What do you want God to be for you He said “I am”. He told Moses in the forest while he was tending sheep, God is today saying to someone who wants sing new songs unto Him that He will be whatever he/she wants Him to be.

God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you.”—Exodus 3:14
When Moses encountered God in the burning bush, he still had much to learn about his Lord. Moses was impressed with the miracle before him (Exod. 3:3). However, it would take much more than a burning bush to lead Israel out of captivity from the most powerful nation of Moses’ day. Would the same God who could cause a bush to burn without being consumed also be able to do what was necessary to deliver a multitude?
God’s answer was, “I AM!” That is, “Moses, I’ll be whatever you need Me to be as you carry out my assignment. If you need miraculous signs in order to convince Pharaoh, then that is how I will express Myself. If you need Me to interrupt nature and part the waters of the Red Sea, then I will demonstrate Myself in that way. If you require food and water, then I will be your provider. If you are afraid, I’ll be your strength.”
At the beginning of Moses’ walk with the Lord, Moses had no idea all that he would need God to do for him. Yet each time Moses faced a need, He learned something new about God. Moses came to realize that there was much more to God than a burning bush. What if Moses was so enamored with his experience at the bush that he built a tabernacle on the spot and established “The Church of the Burning Bush”? He would have missed out on so much more that God wanted to reveal to him!
Think back to your understanding of God when you first began walking with Him. How have your experiences expanded your knowledge of Him?
Beloved, God is ready to be whatever you want Him to be in life and situation. Can you like Moses go a walk with God to discover more about Him? Don’t just stop at one experience Moses walked with God for forty years and have numerous experience about Him. You can begin your walk with today and your testimonies will not be less. Praise the Lord.
God said “I am.” Our Lord Jesus also has something for you, hear Him:

Whatever there may be of beauty in the material world, Jesus Christ possesses all that in the spiritual world in a tenfold degree. Amongst flowers the rose is deemed the sweetest, but Jesus is infinitely more beautiful in the garden of the soul than the rose can in the gardens of earth. He takes the first place as the fairest among ten thousand.
He is the sun, and all others are the stars; the heavens and the day are dark in comparison with Him, for the King in His beauty transcends all.
“I am the rose of Sharon.” This was the best and rarest of roses. Jesus is not “the rose” alone, He is “the rose of Sharon,” just as He calls His righteousness “gold,” and then adds, “the gold of Ophir”–the best of the best. He is positively lovely, and superlatively the loveliest. There is variety in His charms.
The rose is delightful to the eye, and its scent is pleasant and refreshing; so each of the senses of the soul, whether it be the taste or feeling, the hearing, the sight, or the spiritual smell, finds appropriate gratification in Jesus. Even the recollection of His love is sweet. Take the rose of Sharon, and pull it leaf from leaf, and lay by the leaves in the jar of memory, and you shall find each leaf fragrant long afterwards, filling the house with perfume.
Christ satisfies the highest taste of the most educated spirit to the very full. The greatest amateur in perfumes is quite satisfied with the rose: and when the soul has arrived at her highest pitch of true taste, she shall still be content with Christ, nay, she shall be the better able to appreciate Him.
Heaven itself possesses nothing which excels the rose of Sharon. What emblem can fully set forth His beauty? Human speech and earth-born things fail to tell of Him. Earth’s choicest charms commingled, feebly picture His abounding preciousness.
Blessed rose, bloom in my heart for ever!

On this note we take off the week. God is saying to someone here today “I Am.” Jesus is saying to someone “I am the rose of Sharon” the Holy Spirit is saying to someone today “don’t be defeated”
Beloved new songs come from a swell heart. From the innermost being of a person and that is what God have promised you that you will rece from Him if you don’t give up. So hang on there and see those challenges turn into a new songs for you. Praise the Lord.
Go in this victory and return with testimonies at the end of this week in Jesus Name. May the Holy Spirit help us in Jesus Name. you will give a God a new Name, many has you are net on the line. Praise the Lord.
