I will magnify Your Name (I will magnify Your Name) Who is worthy to be Praise. I will glorify Your Name (I will glorify Your Name) Who is worthy to be Praise, hosanna blessed be Thy Lord! Honour be Thy Lord, let the Rock of my salvation be exalted. Thy Lord reigneth blessed be Thy Rock, honour to the Rock, let the Rock of my salvation be exalted.// I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name above every other Name O! Lord. I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name, I will lift up Your Name above every other Name O! Lord.

Worthy worth is Thy Lamb, worthy worthy is the Lamb, worthy worthy is Thy Lamb that was slain. Worthy worth is Thy Lamb, worthy worthy is the Lamb, worthy worthy is Thy Lamb that was slain, Praise Him alleluia, Praise Him alleluia, Praise Him alleluia, Praise the Lord.

Our Gracious Father, we come before You with a heart full of praises and thanksgiving to You, accept our praises Lord, let our offering of thanksgiving come unto You as a sweet smelling sacrifice and may it be pleasing unto You for I know that having giving You what You cannot give Yourself, You will do that which only You can do in our lives in Jesus Name.

Beloved, are you happy? Is good to be happy, is also good to rejoice no matter what you are going through. True happiness really comes from the knowledge that you are safe and secure in Christ. No matter what is going on around you, if only you will recall that the teaching of yesterday, being fully aware that Jesus died and rose again and He had gone ahead of you and right now He is interceding for You at the Right Hand of our Father and when you are done here on earth, your body will not suffer decay. What a great assurance, what a resounding joy in the heart of a believer.

Jesus our Saviour has gone ahead of us, what a consolation to my soul. Now Beloveth, having this knowledge is not enough as a child of God, what is good and adequate is that you partaker in the works which Christ did for us.

Simply put, you can boldly declare that “I know that I am saved.” Are you saved? If the trumpet sounds today, can the works for Calvary avail for you? The finish work of Calvary will avail for you if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour but if you have not, behold you will not enter into the kingdom of God.

Do you know if you are saved? Our teaching today centers on this and am sure you will either confidently say that “I know I am saved” or you will say “I don’t know if I am saved”

Some frown at it when you boldly declare that you are saved, they claim that no one know where he or she is going until at the last minute, beloved I hope you are not in this class. As a believer in Christ, you must know whether you are saved or not.

Salvation is not what you guess about, it is assurance that comes from the relationship you have with God. The Holy of God must bear witness with your Spirit that you are a child of God. If you are yet to experience that, then you must go to God in prayer and ask Him to give you the experience of “new birth” in Christ.

I still remember like yesterday when I gave my life to Christ. I saw my unworthiness and I saw the Hand of Jesus extending to me love that I have never experience before in my entire life as that moment. I gave my life to Christ as a teen, over time I thank God I accepted Him as at when  I did, seeing what is happening in our world today I remain ever grateful to God for that “great day” when I surrender my life to Him, if you are yet to do so is never late, you can do so right away as you round off this study. This is another Supernatural Wonder any man can experience- giving your life to Jesus.

Beloved, have you given your life to Jesus? I believe you know that “life without Christ is crisis” and you don’t want that to be your lot. So why don’t you give your life to Him and be bold to declare that “I know that I am saved.” This is the greatest testimony any man can give in life.

You must not be ashamed of the cross. You must not be ashamed to declare that Jesus is your Lord and personal Saviour. You must be bold to live a life of Christ and bring others to the saving knowledge of Christ just as I am doing right now.

Come along with us to experience the salvation in Christ Jesus:

Lamentations 3:13-66, Psalm 119:141-144, Proverbs 27:5-6, Hebrews 7:11-8:6

“I Know I’m Saved”

He [Jesus] is always able to save those who come to God through Him.—Hebrews 7:25

Is it possible to know without any shadow of doubt that one is saved and ready to meet God? This question, says one writer, goes right to the roots of religious experience. Christianity says “yes.” Other religions are not sure. Without exception they will tell you that it savors of presumption to say one is certain that one is saved.

I know some Christians have difficulty here also. They contend that we can hope to be saved, or claim we are being saved, but that no one can state with any degree of assurance that they are saved. It is gross self-centeredness, they maintain, and a sign of self-absorption to claim here and now on this earth, “I am saved.” Yet John Wesley declared it. On May 24, 1738, he walked into a room in Aldersgate Street, London, where he heard someone read the Preface to Luther’s commentary on Romans, and as he listened there was given him “an assurance” that God had taken away his sins and saved him from the law of sin and death.

Millions all over the world can say as Wesley did that they have an assurance they are saved and know that when they die they will go to heaven. It is not presumption to say you are saved providing, of course, you have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Indeed, it is offensive for anyone who has given himself or herself to Christ not to say they are saved. As we see from our text today, Christ promises to save and save completely. I know I’m saved. How about you?

Prayer

O Father, thank You that not only do You save me from my sins and draw me to Yourself but You give me the assurance that I am Yours forever. How can I thank You enough for such wondrous grace? With my stammering tongue, however, I will try. Amen.
