Afflictions, But No Broken Bones

0

Good morning Jesus good morning Lord I know You come from heaven above the Holy Spirit is on the Throne, good morning Jesus good morning  Lord. // Who is like unto thee O Lord! Who is like unto thee O Lord, among the God who is like unto thee

Father we thank You we blessed You holy Name we honour You, we worship You be thou be exalted forever in Jesus Name. Thank You Father for You are great. Everything written about You is Great. Thank for You for another beautiful day You have made and made us part of it.

Beloved, we are here again to worship the King of kings the Lord of Lord the ancient of days the beginning and the end. How are you doing?  So much activities going on town because of the season we are in. How is the carols going on? We thank God for the privilege to worship and enjoy in His presence glory be to God.

Are you afflicted? Do you think all is gone? A son writer said count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your blessings see what God has done, count your blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done. Whatever be it you are going through at this moment, remember today’s text and be comforted. God will keep all your bone and none will be broken. What a wonderful promise to an afflicted one.

Just know that God is God and is mercies endureth forever. He loves you with an everlasting love while you are yet sinner, He send His Son to die for you. He cares for you and will not allow anything to hurt you. Look beyond that pain and see the bright morning star smiling at you. All is not gone. Jehovah our Maker will not forsake you neither will he abandon you. He promised to keep your bone and He will not fail to do just that.

His Word is Yea and Amen! God is not man that He should lie nor the Son of man that He will repent, had He said it He surely do it. Let this message comfort you. Let’s keep going

“He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.” Ps. 34:20

This promise by the context is referred to the much afflicted righteous man: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” He may suffer skin-wounds and flesh-wounds, but no great harm shall be done, “not a bone of him shall be broken.”

This is great comfort to a tried child of God, and comfort which I dare accept; for up to this hour I have suffered no real damage from my many afflictions. I have neither lost faith, nor hope, nor love. Nay, so far from losing these bones of character, they have gained in strength and energy. I have more knowledge, more experience, more patience, more stability than I had before the trials came. Not even my joy has been destroyed. Many a bruise have I had by sickness, bereavement, depression, slander, and opposition; but the bruise has healed, and there has been no compound fracture of a bone, not even a simple one. The reason is not far to seek. If we trust in the Lord, He keeps all our bones; and if He keeps them, we may be sure that not one of them is broken.

Come, my heart, do not sorrow. Thou art smarting, but there are no bones broken. Endure hardness, and bid defiance to fear. Because the arraignment of our whole life is of the Lord. The second message is like the first please let keep going:

“The lot is cast into the lap, but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.” Proverbs 16:33

If the disposal of the lot is the Lord’s whose is the arrangement of our whole life? If the simple casting of a lot is guided by Him, how much more the events of our entire life—especially when we are told by our blessed Saviour: “The very hairs of your head are all numbered: not a sparrow falleth to the ground without your Father.”

It would bring a holy calm over your mind, dear friend, if you were always to remember this. It would so relieve your mind from anxiety, that you would be the better able to walk in patience, quiet, and cheerfulness as a Christian should. When a man is anxious he cannot pray with faith; when he is troubled about the world, he cannot serve his Master, his thoughts are serving himself.

If you would “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” all things would then be added unto you. You are meddling with Christ’s business, and neglecting your own when you fret about your lot and circumstances. You have been trying “providing” work and forgetting that it is yours to obey. Be wise and attend to the obeying, and let Christ manage the providing.

Come and survey your Father’s storehouse, and ask whether He will let you starve while He has laid up so great an abundance in His garner? Look at His heart of mercy; see if that can ever prove unkind! Look at His inscrutable wisdom; see if that will ever be at fault.

Above all, look up to Jesus Christ your Intercessor, and ask yourself, while He pleads, can your Father deal ungraciously with you? If He remembers even sparrows, will He forget one of the least of His poor children? “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain thee. He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

My soul, rest happy in thy low estate,

Nor hope nor wish to be esteem’d or great;

To take the impress of the Will Divine,

Be that thy glory, and those riches thine.

Beloved, I am encouraged I hope are also encourage. He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.” “The very hairs of your head are all numbered: not a sparrow falleth to the ground without your Father.” but remember “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” all things would then be added unto you including dominion. Praise God.

Beloved, that is a promise for the week hold on to it and be blessed. Walk therein in it and be blessed. This week is declared blessed in Jesus Name. Return on Friday with your testimonies.

Remain blessed in the Lord

A Quiet Heart

0

Thank You thank You Lord, Thank You Lord Thank, You Lord for everything You have done 2x// We give all the glory to the Lord all the glory to Lord all the glory to the Lord 2x

Father we return to give You to give You praise for who are, countless things You did for us, the health and vitality Father we Thank You. For watching over us we praise Your Name we honour You Lord we give thanks be thou be exalted forever in Jesus Name.

Merciful Father, we Thank You for all goodness, Your patient,  Your love, Your peace, Your joy, Your strength and Your mercies that endureth forever and ever in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, God has been so kind to us all through wonderful week. Blessed be His Name forever and ever. Gradually He is taking us from one level of victory to another. Do I have a testifier in the house?

As way of helping us in continuation of our confidence in God, today’s topic is meant to solidify yesterday’s teaching and further help us grow in our faith with God.

Yesterday we identify that our greatest enemy is self, why self we said that every doubt, fear, unbelief immanent from within. So one way to deal with it is what we will be reading today.

As You go through may God help You and give You understanding in Jesus Name.

Let’s get going:

“In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.” Isa. 30:15

It is always weakness to be fretting and worrying, questioning and mistrusting. What can we do if we wear ourselves to skin and bone? Can we gain anything by fearing and fuming? Do we not unfit ourselves for action, and unhinge our minds for wise decision? We are sinking by our struggles when we might float by faith.

Oh, for grace to be quiet! Why run from house to house to repeat the weary story which makes us more and more heart-sick as we tell it? Why even stay at home to cry out in agony because of wretched forebodings which may never be fulfilled? It would be well to keep a quiet tongue, but it would be far better if we had a quiet heart. Oh, to be still and know that Jehovah is God!

Oh, for grace to be confident in God! The Holy One of Israel must defend and deliver His own. He cannot run back from His solemn declarations. We may make sure that every word of His will stand though the mountains should depart. He deserves to be confided in; and if we would display confidence and consequent quietness, we might be as happy as the spirits before the throne.

Come, my soul, return unto thy rest, and lean thy head upon the bosom of the Lord Jesus. beloved, we are to go from strength to strength if we will gain the dominion we are  clamoring for. So let keep going:

“They go from strength to strength.” Psalm 84:7

They go from strength to strength. There are various renderings of these words, but all of them contain the idea of progress.

Our own good translation of the authorized version is enough for us this morning. “They go from strength to strength.” That is, they grow stronger and stronger. Usually, if we are walking, we go from strength to weakness; we start fresh and in good order for our journey, but by-and-by the road is rough, and the sun is hot, we sit down by the wayside, and then again painfully pursue our weary way.

But the Christian pilgrim having obtained fresh supplies of grace, is as vigorous after years of toilsome travel and struggle as when he first set out. He may not be quite so elate and buoyant, nor perhaps quite so hot and hasty in his zeal as he once was, but he is much stronger in all that constitutes real power, and travels, if more slowly, far more surely.

Some gray-haired veterans have been as firm in their grasp of truth, and as zealous in diffusing it, as they were in their younger days; but, alas, it must be confessed it is often otherwise, for the love of many waxes cold and iniquity abounds, but this is their own sin and not the fault of the promise which still holds good: “The youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” Fretful spirits sit down and trouble themselves about the future.

“Alas!” say they, “we go from affliction to affliction.” Very true, O thou of little faith, but then thou goest from strength to strength also. Thou shalt never find a bundle of affliction which has not bound up in the midst of it sufficient grace. God will give the strength of ripe manhood with the burden allotted to full-grown shoulders.

Did You just read that “God will give the strength of ripe manhood with the burden allotted to full-grown shoulders.” Not to a fretting shoulders.

God grant us quite heart, to learn more from You and to stand for everything Your Word says concerning us. Make Your sufficient for us. Holy Spirit of God Divine help us we pray Thee in Jesus Name

Beloved, let us cultivate a quiet heart. Search the scripture when you are challenged. Let down every heavy weight and run the race that is set before you. The way may be tough but remember nothing is impossible in Jesus. Pray and wait on God’s direction in all our undertaking in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in Lord.

The “All” of Belief

What Mighty God we serve, What Mighty God we serve, What Mighty God we serve, What Mighty God we serve.// Faithful, Faithful, Faithful, Faithful, Faithful, Faithful, Faithful, Faithful is the Lord 2x.

Yes our God is ever faithful, forever You will be, forever You be, the lamb upon Throne, I gladly my knees (I gladly my knees) to worship my God. Yes, this is my heart felt song unto the king of kings, the lion of Judea, the lily of the valley. The Ancient of days, the Alpha and Omega. The One Who is and Who is yet to come. The lover of my soul that cast all other fear and instil faith

Thank You Father Thank You Lord. For You are God for ever more. Thank You Lord for all You doing for us through us and in us. Blessed be thou Holy Name forever.

Beloveth, faith clinic is here again praise God. The topic that is coming our way today is very intrigue. You will glad that you visited the site today because you will be richly blessed.

Often time our greatest enemy in our life pursuit is self. How? Someone just asked. Who is guilty of unbelief? Who doubt? Now you can agree with me that sometime we are our greatest enemy. We always think is not possible before we venture into a program or a project.

So when we encounter a little obstacle we throw our hands up and said ‘I said it, it will not be possible.” but Jesus is reminding us again today that nothing is impossible with Him.

It means that is not working out now does not mean that it will never work. Is possible as we were told yesterday that God is perfecting something in our life, He want to receive all the glory eventually. Either way it will work but you need to operate either where God wants you to be or the timing is not right yet.

What are you trusting God that is yet to be? You need to read this message so that you will get into your miracle before the year round off.

For every miracle Jesus did, He always demand faith from the recipients except in few instance (Jn 5:1-16; Matt 8:28- 33).

Let us ask God to increase our faith so that all things will be possible to us. Do away with unbelief and look unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. Praise God.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23

Our unbelief is the greatest hindrance in our way; in fact, there is no other real difficulty as to our spiritual progress and prosperity. The Lord can do everything; but when He makes a rule that according to our faith so shall it be unto us, our unbelief ties the hands of His Omnipotence.

Yes, the confederacies of evil shall be scattered if we can but believe. Despised truth shall lift its head if we will but have confidence in the God of truth. We can bear our load of trouble, or pass uninjured through the waves of distress, if we can gird our loins with the girdle of peace, that girdle which is buckled on by the hands of trust.

What can we not believe? Is everything possible except believing in God? Yet He is always true; why do we not believe Him? He is always faithful to His word; why can we not trust Him? When we are in a right state of heart faith costs no effort: it is then as natural for us to rely upon God as for a child to trust its father.

The worst of it is, that we can believe God about everything except the present pressing trial. This -is folly. Come, my soul, shake off such sinfulness, and trust thy God with the load, the labor, the longing of this present. This done, all is done.

Beloved, whatever you standing in for do you know that it has been put in place before you into the scene. So let us trust God that anything good will be provided for. Indeed He has provided for all your need but you have to work into it. so the grace to fully walk into our destiny we must constantly ask for. Let keep going:

“Thou, O God, hast prepared of Thy goodness for the poor.” Psalm 68:10

All God’s gifts are prepared gifts laid up in store for wants foreseen. He anticipates our needs; and out of the fulness which He has treasured up in Christ Jesus, He provides of His goodness for the poor. You may trust Him for all the necessities that can occur, for He has infallibly foreknown every one of them.

He can say of us in all conditions, “I knew that thou wouldst be this and that.” A man goes a journey across the desert, and when he has made a day’s advance, and pitched his tent, he discovers that he wants many comforts and necessaries which he has not brought in his baggage. “Ah!” says he, “I did not foresee this: if I had this journey to go again, I should bring these things with me, so necessary to my comfort.”

But God has marked with prescient eye all the requirements of His poor wandering children, and when those needs occur, supplies are ready. It is goodness which He has prepared for the poor in heart, goodness and goodness only. “My grace is sufficient for thee.” “As thy days, so shall thy strength be.”

Reader, is your heart heavy this day? God knew it would be; the comfort which your heart wants is treasured in the sweet assurance of the text. You are poor and needy, but He has thought upon you, and has the exact blessing which you require in store for you. Plead the promise, believe it and obtain its fulfillment.

Do you feel that you never were so consciously vile as you are now? Behold, the crimson fountain is open still, with all its former efficacy, to wash your sin away. Never shall you come into such a position that Christ cannot aid you.

No pinch shall ever arrive in your spiritual affairs in which Jesus Christ shall not be equal to the emergency, for your history has all been foreknown and provided for in Jesus.

Beloved, walk in this teaching and see those things happening before your very eyes. You will testify in Jesus Name. Do away with unbelief; hold on to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Father, we look up to You for Your help!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Therefore will the Lord wait that He may be gracious unto you.”

All glory all honour to You. Holy Father we welcome You. Blessed Jesus attained Thee, Holy Spirit we welcome You, Holy Spirit we welcome You.// Blessed the Lord O my soul, blessed the Lord O! my soul 2x.

Blessed the Lord O my soul and all that is within me praise His holy Name. Thank You, we blessed Your holy Name, we worship You we blessed forever. Father we thank You for another opportunity to worship in presence. To pray and receive answers to our prayers.

Beloved, are you at the verge of giving up? Is your answers to prayers being delayed? Are you fretting or getting worried over some pressing issues in life? Come, I have goodnews for you.

What you are considering as a delay may turn out to be blessing in disguised afterall. Beloved, today message said it all. Just relax as the Holy Spirit ministers to your soul, than you will be less anxious and you will be grateful to God who can do all things, praise Jesus!

We believe that God always answers our prayer but there are instances when it seems opposites and the anticipated answer very remote.

The reasons you will all discovery as you through todays teaching. That will go a long way to help you.

Having discover the causes of such things, what are likely the way out? The second message will help you as when you are operating were God wants you to be, the peace promises us by God will be our portion nothing short of it.

So whatever you are standing in for before the end of the year, just relax, present it before God and see God walking in that situation.

I decree into someone reading this devotional that none of 2016 blessings will cross over to year 2017. The Spirit of God will help you and all your blessings will be delivered before it ticks 00:00 on 31st day of this month in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Lets get going:

“Therefore will the Lord wait that He may be gracious unto you.” Isaiah 30:18

God often DELAYS IN ANSWERING PRAYER. We have several instances of this in sacred Scripture. Jacob did not get the blessing from the angel until near the dawn of day—he had to wrestle all night for it. The poor woman of Syrophenicia was answered not a word for a long while.

Paul besought the Lord thrice that “the thorn in the flesh” might be taken from him, and he received no assurance that it should be taken away, but instead thereof a promise that God’s grace should be sufficient for him. If thou hast been knocking at the gate of mercy, and hast received no answer, shall I tell thee why the mighty Maker hath not opened the door and let thee in?

Our Father has reasons peculiar to Himself for thus keeping us waiting. Sometimes it is to show His power and His sovereignty, that men may know that Jehovah has a right to give or to withhold. More frequently the delay is for our profit. Thou art perhaps kept waiting in order that thy desires may be more fervent.

God knows that delay will quicken and increase desire, and that if He keeps thee waiting thou wilt see thy necessity more clearly, and wilt seek more earnestly; and that thou wilt prize the mercy all the more for its long tarrying. There may also be something wrong in thee which has need to be removed, before the joy of the Lord is given.

Perhaps thy views of the Gospel plan are confused, or thou mayest be placing some little reliance on thyself, instead of trusting simply and entirely to the Lord Jesus. Or, God makes thee tarry awhile that He may the more fully display the riches of His grace to thee at last. Thy prayers are all filed in heaven, and if not immediately answered they are certainly not forgotten, but in a little while shall be fulfilled to thy delight and satisfaction.

Let not despair make thee silent, but continue instant in earnest supplication. For God shall surely make his people to dwell in quiet resting place. He will defend you and make the enemies of your soul to be disgraced in Jesus Name. The hand of the Lord will perform this. He will disappoint your enemies. No weapon fashion against you shall prosper   :

“My people shall dwell in quiet resting places.” Isaiah 32:18

Peace and rest belong not to the unregenerate, they are the peculiar possession of the Lord’s people, and of them only. The God of Peace gives perfect peace to those whose hearts are stayed upon Him. When man was unfallen, his God gave him the flowery bowers of Eden as his quiet resting places; alas! how soon sin blighted the fair abode of innocence.

In the day of universal wrath when the flood swept away a guilty race, the chosen family were quietly secured in the resting-place of the ark, which floated them from the old condemned world into the new earth of the rainbow and the covenant, herein typifying Jesus, the ark of our salvation.

Israel rested safely beneath the blood-besprinkled habitations of Egypt when the destroying angel smote the first-born; and in the wilderness the shadow of the pillar of cloud, and the flowing rock, gave the weary pilgrims sweet repose.

At this hour we rest in the promises of our faithful God, knowing that His words are full of truth and power; we rest in the doctrines of His word, which are consolation itself; we rest in the covenant of His grace, which is a haven of delight.

More highly favoured are we than David in Adullam, or Jonah beneath his gourd, for none can invade or destroy our shelter. The person of Jesus is the quiet resting-place of His people, and when we draw near to Him in the breaking of the bread, in the hearing of the word, the searching of the Scriptures, prayer, or praise, we find any form of approach to Him to be the return of peace to our spirits.

“I hear the words of love, I gaze upon the blood,

I see the mighty sacrifice, and I have peace with God.

‘Tis everlasting peace, sure as Jehovah’s name,

‘Tis stable as His steadfast throne, for evermore the same:

The clouds may go and come, and storms may sweep my sky,

This blood-sealed friendship changes not, the cross is ever nigh.”

Beloved, have read Ps 125 recently? Please open it and read. Is it comforting? Is it reassuring? What did verse 2 said? Did you come across this “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever”.

This is the portion of that man who places his trust in God and that will be portion today as you prayer and seek God face. He will surround you as mountain surround Jerusalem. Praise God!

Father we pray in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ, answer us and bless us we prayed Thee. Take away from us anything that will hinder Your answering us when we call in Jesus Name. Do a miracle in the life of Your children as we lift up our voices unto thee in Jesus Name.

Beloved, let us lift up our holy hands unto God and be patient be your Maker wait on Him to do you good. Do not go after other gods, do not trust in the hand of men but trust solely in the Name of the Lord and you will be blessed in Jesus Name!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Acquiring Perseverance

Everlasting Father, Everlasting son, Immortal Holy Ghost be Thou glorified 2x.// who is like unto Thee, O! Lord who is like Thee O Lord! Among the gods who is like Thee we are glorious in holiness fearful in praising doing wonders alleluia!

Father, we Thank You we bless Your holy Name, we exalt You, we magnify Your Holy Name forever and ever. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Lord. Great  are You Lord. Thank You for this beautiful morning that You made us to be part of. Thank You for watching over us, glory, honour, adoration be unto Thee forever and ever in Jesus Name.

Merciful Jesus, hallow be thou Name, let thy kingdom come and Your will be done on earth. Help us this day we play Thee to be all that You made us to be and destroy in us every tree You have not planted be uprooted in Jesus Name.

The Name of Jesus is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and are safe. Blessed be Your Holy Name forever.

Following God, doing His will, standing right, all requires perseverance. It is a walk we must be resolved to do come what may. it is not a journey for the weak in heart, it is a journey for those who are not strong in will or who are carried about by every wing of doctrine, is not the babe who wants to be feeding on milk other than strong meat. You must be determine to be a winner from start else you give up midway or fall by the wayside. Praise the Name of the Lord.

Gaining Dominion over all that have been dominating us hitherto is fight we must fight to finish and triumph before the end of this season. Jesus has won the victory for us, but we must enter into the victory and excel therein. Glory be to God in the highest. Remember in our weakness he is our strength glory be to God on high.

“The Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little.” Deut. 7:22

We are not to expect to win victories for the Lord Jesus by a single blow. Evil principles and practices die hard. In some places it takes years of labor to drive out even one of the many vices which defile the inhabitants. We must carry on the war with all our might, even when favored with little manifest success.

Our business in this world is to conquer it for Jesus. We are not to make compromises, but to exterminate evils. We are not to seek popularity, but to wage unceasing war with iniquity. Infidelity, Popery, drink, impurity, oppression, worldliness, error; these are all to be “put out.”

The Lord our God can alone accomplish this. He works by His faithful servants; and, blessed be His name, He promises that He will so work. “Jehovah thy God will put out those nations before thee.” This He will do by degrees, that we may learn perseverance, may increase in faith, may earnestly watch, and may avoid carnal security. Let us thank God for a little success, and pray for more. Let us never sheathe the sword till the whole land is won for Jesus.

Courage, my heart! Go on little by little, for many littles will make a great whole.

Beloved, w need perseverance to finish the race set before us. The next message will help our understanding on the perseverance. Let get going:

 Running The Race

How am I doing in running the race God has assigned for me, as outlined in Hebrews 12:1-3?

Verse 1 — “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Is anything hindering me from running the “race” God has assigned me?

(Matthew 10:37, 38; Luke 8:14)

What is the good in my life that has the potential of becoming the enemy of the best? (Philippians 3:12-14)

Is there any sin in my life that is entangling me?

(Psalm 106:34-40; 1 Corinthians 9:25, 26; 2 Timothy 2:4; 4:10)

Am I choosing to run with perseverance the race God has “marked out” for me? (Romans 2:7)

Am I in rebellion against God’s plan for me?

(1 Samuel 12:14, 15; 15:23; 2 Samuel 15:1-18:33; Proverbs 17:11)

Verse 2 — “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Are my eyes on Jesus, or on someone/something else?

(Isaiah 31:1; 45:22; Philippians 3:20; 2 Timothy 4:8)

Is my faith being perfected (matured)? Or am I stagnating?

(Psalm 92:12; Colossians 1:10; 2 Peter 3:18)

If I am stagnating, what are the contributing factors?

(Proverbs 1:32; Zephaniah 1:12; Revelation 2:1-4; 3:15-20)

Verse 3 — “Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Is Christ the primary consideration in my life? Or have I pushed Him to the periphery? (Colossians 3:4)

If Christ is at the periphery, what changes do I need to make to place Him at the center? (2 Peter 2:15)

When I encounter opposition for my faith, am I choosing to endure? If not, why not? (Revelation 12:11)

Have I grown weary and lost heart?

(Luke 18:1; 2 Corinthians 4:1, 16; Galatians 6:9; 2 Thessalonians 3:13; Revelation 2:3)

What would I need to do to regain my strength and hope?

(Isaiah 55:1-3; Hosea 6:1-3; Matthew 11:28-30)

Beloved, in this final lap of the race we must be determine to win and perseverance is the key word. Remember faith without work is dead. So keep running and never get weary; never give up. Jesus loves you and I that I know. God will uproot every enemy on our way to Dominion. Praise the Lord.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Not in Word but in Power

Jesus Jesus Jesus You are the Lord of my soul. Jesus Jesus Jesus You are the Lord of my soul O! Jesus You are the Lord of my soul, sweet Jesus You are the Lord of my soul. My father in heaven, I thank You, I bless Your Holy Name, I lift up my voice unto Thee, to bless and worship You. You are the King of kings, You are the ancient of Days, You are the lily in the lily in the valley. Thank You Father, for without Your love in our life we can do nothing faithful are You Lord! Thank You for loving me and everything pertaining to me. Glorious God Wonderful, Redeemer I bow before You Throne, be though be exalted forever and ever.

Thank You for the gift of another week, another day, blessed be Your Holy Name for ever and ever in Jesus Name.

Beloved, are thanking God for who is He. He is creator of the whole world. He is the very breathe in your nostril, what comfort to a weary soul.

The topic before us today is a very interesting one.  The kingdom of our Father is not in Word but in power. God created the world though the spoken Word. This Word has power in it and therefore it accomplish all that it was sent to do.

Jesus said greater work that I do, yea will also do. When He was doing His earthly ministry, His Word also accomplished that which it sent it to do. Likewise it is also expected of us that our word will be backed up by heaven and it will accomplish all that it is sent to do.

I decree over the reader of this devotional that heaven will back you up. The power displayed by Jesus will also be vested upon us at this moment in Jesus Name.

Never again will we be afraid of what the devil is doing round or within but ever confessing the Word back up with Name of Jesus in our life and situation in Jesus Name.

Let us look up to Jesus to baptize us with fresh fire accompanying with power from above:

For the kingdom of God is not in talk but in power.—1 Corinthians 4:20

Christianity is not moral platitudes, lofty intentions, and noble thoughts. The fundamental characteristic of God’s kingdom is power. Paul faced constant criticism about his work among the early churches. Some of his detractors would travel to cities such as Corinth and speak extensively about all that Paul was doing incorrectly. At times, people in the churches were enticed to believe the slanderous criticisms against the apostle.

Paul responded with a reminder that the test of a kingdom citizen’s authenticity was not the persuasiveness of his words, but the spiritual power of his life. Paul candidly acknowledged that some did not find him eloquent in speech (2 Cor. 10:10). Yet they could not question God’s power in his life. He had seen many people converted, and many churches were started through his ministry. He had been used to heal the sick and raise the dead through God’s power. Regardless of whether his words were eloquent, they carried spiritual power and authority that came from God.

You will encounter many people who seek to convince you of their opinions concerning the kingdom of God. They may speak passionately. They may even bring charts and graphs to prove their points! But the test of the validity of their words is the spiritual power of their lives. If a person speaks forcefully about a point of doctrine but is habitually sinning, his words are discredited by his life. If a person talks of the power of God but gives no evidence of victory in her life, her words are empty. It is much easier to talk about the victorious Christian life than it is to live it.

If you only have the appearance of godliness without any corresponding spiritual power (2 Tim. 3:5), ask God to cleanse you of your sin and to fill you with His Spirit so that your life is characterized by power.

Beloved, as you have just read, sin can hinder us from manifesting the power in the Word, so we must therefore watch our life and the way we live, so that heaven will back us up when we decree in Jesus Name.

Remember it is the power in the Word of God that will back You up not that You start seeking power outside Jesus (2Cor.12:9-10). We will enjoined from the beginning of the month to put on the whole armour of God to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Have you done it already or you are yet to do it. If your answer is later please be quick in doing it now for time is not waiting for you. Let’s keep going:

“Girt about the paps with a golden girdle.” Revelation 1:13

One like unto the Son of Man” appeared to John in Patmos, and the beloved disciple marked that He wore a girdle of gold. A girdle, for Jesus never was ungirt while upon earth, but stood always ready for service, and now before the eternal throne He stays not is holy ministry, but as a priest is girt about with “the curious girdle of the ephod.”

Well it is for us that He has not ceased to fulfil His offices of love for us, since this is one of our choicest safeguards that He ever liveth to make intercession for us. Jesus is never an idler; His garments are never loose as though His offices were ended; He diligently carries on the cause of His people. A golden girdle, to manifest the superiority of His service, the royalty of His person, the dignity of His state, the glory of His reward. No longer does He cry out of the dust, but He pleads with authority, a King as well as a Priest. Safe enough is our cause in the hands of our enthroned Melchisedek.

Our Lord presents all His people with an example. We must never unbind our girdles. This is not the time for lying down at ease, it is the season of service and warfare. We need to bind the girdle of truth more and more tightly around our loins. It is a golden girdle, and so will be our richest ornament, and we greatly need it, for a heart that is not well braced up with the truth as it is in Jesus, and with the fidelity which is wrought of the Spirit, will be easily entangled with the things of this life, and tripped up by the snares of temptation.

It is in vain that we possess the Scriptures unless we bind them around us like a girdle, surrounding our entire nature, keeping each part of our character in order, and giving compactness to our whole man. If in heaven Jesus unbinds not the girdle, much less may we upon earth. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.

Read Eph 6 v13 – Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Beloved, we put on this armour to be able to pull through this season of warfare. Jesus hold us on in Your victory we pray Thee in Jesus Name.

Beloved, this week is declared blessed in the Name of the Lord. Be blessed in all your undertaking in Jesus Name! Return with testimony in Jesus Name.

Father back us with Your power in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Name of the Lord.

Walk Without Stumbling

0

Praising the Lord always, praising the Lord always, praising the Lord with all our heart, praising the Lord with all our heart always alleluia our Lord is good, alleluia, my Lord is good alleluia my Lord is good He is good to us.// I seen the Lord goodness His mercies and compassion,2x alleluia praise the Lord.

Father in heaven O Lord who is like unto Thee. Thank You for Your wonderful protection allthrough the week. You are Mighty. Thank You for loving and caring for us. Glory be to Your Holy Name. Father in heaven O God! Thank You for Your provision and protection on us. Thank You deliverance and healing. Thank You Lord for confirming Your Word in our lives. Blessed be the Lord who did allow our enemies to undo us but by His Mighty Hand He delivery us from all evil, He is our High place of defense, His power so great that all powers bow at His presence. Blessed be His Holy Name.

Beloved, Thank God is Friday, O! Did I just said “Friday?” Thank God is PCL my favorite day, hope you know why. Not only that I will have some rest after today, but I will have opportunity to see how to integrate the teaching of the Word and the practical side of in life situation.

In our topic for the day, it appear like the Psalmist was a great danger and was asking God to delivery him or that he was disappointed in the acts of men and was seeking for God’s help instead. But in all it is assuring us of the restful confidence that can be found in Jesus.

Beloved, how do we ensure that we walk without stumbling? Remember we said earlier in the week that God is our high defense. Yesterday we were also told that we by passing through but will not be engulfed, the most trilling part is that God will always find enough hands either to do His Work or to the destroy the works of satan.

There is much in this teaching depending on the angle you are coming from. It is assuring us of safety in our walk with God and the devises of the enemies, either way, we are secured, glory be to God.

Let’s get going:

“He will not suffer thy foot to be moved.” Ps. 121:3

If the Lord will not suffer it, neither men nor devils can do it. How greatly would they rejoice if they could give us a disgraceful fall, drive us from our position, and bury us out of memory! They could do this to their heart’s content were it not for one hindrance, and Only one: the Lord will not suffer it; and if He does not suffer it, we shall not suffer it.

The way of life is like traveling among the Alps. Along mountain paths one is constantly exposed to the slipping of the foot. Where the way is high the head is apt to swim, and then the feet soon slide: there are spots which are smooth as glass, and others that are rough with loose stones, and in either of these a fall is hard to avoid.

He who throughout life is enabled to keep himself upright and to walk without stumbling has the best of reasons for gratitude. What with pitfalls and snares, weak knees, weary feet, and subtle enemies, no child of God would stand fast for an hour were it not for the faithful love which will not suffer his foot to be moved. “Amidst a thousand snares I stand Upheld and guarded by thy hand; That hand unseen shall hold me still, And lead me to thy holy hill.”

The next message is also encouraging us to hold fast that good we are doing because the Lord is taking note and must reward You handsomely. Let keep going:

“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.” Revelation 3:4

We may understand this to refer to justification. “They shall walk in white”; that is, they shall enjoy a constant sense of their own justification by faith; they shall understand that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to them, that they have all been washed and made whiter than the newly-fallen snow.

Again, it refers to joy and gladness: for white robes were holiday dresses among the Jews. They who have not defiled their garments shall have their faces always bright; they shall understand what Solomon meant when he said “Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart. Let thy garments be always white, for God hath accepted thy works.”

He who is accepted of God shall wear white garments of joy and gladness, while he walks in sweet communion with the Lord Jesus. Whence so many doubts, so much misery, and mourning? It is because so many believers defile their garments with sin and error, and hence they lose the joy of their salvation, and the comfortable fellowship of the Lord Jesus, they do not here below walk in white.

The promise also refers to walking in white before the throne of God. Those who have not defiled their garments here shall most certainly walk in white up yonder, where the white-robed hosts sing perpetual hallelujahs to the Most High. They shall possess joys inconceivable, happiness beyond a dream, bliss which imagination knoweth not, blessedness which even the stretch of desire hath not reached.

The “undefiled in the way” shall have all this—not of merit, nor of works, but of grace. They shall walk with Christ in white, for He has made them “worthy.” In His sweet company they shall drink of the living fountains of waters.

Are you happy about this statement? Are you among the undefiled/ are your garment white as snow? Are you walking on the Lord side? Beloved this is an important question we must daily be asking ourselves. Remember for the believers we have a home apart from here. Are you walking daily to secure your space in eternity or all the daily struggles is aiming only to satisfy yourself here on earth?

Again beloved walk without stumbling before the Lord your God. food for thought – if the Lord will suffer your feet to be move, neither men nor devil can. Praise be the Name of the Lord.

See you next week by God’s grace. Enjoy your weekend and mediate on the teachings therein.

Love you!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Through” Not Engulfed

Everybody testify You are good, You are good Jehovah You are good. Everybody testify You are good, You are good Jehovah You are good.//  You are miracle working God, You are a miracle working God, You the Alpha and Omega You are a miracle working God.

Father, we Thank You we bless Your Holy Name, we adore You, for You are Great. Thank You for another blessed day before us, glory be to Your Name on high. Faithful Redeemer, we Thank You, we blessed Your Name. Thank You, and Thank You forever more. Thank You for answers to prayers. You are a miracle working God. Thank You Lord for defecting our enemies and healing our diseases, saving the lost and restoring all that the enemy has stolen from Your children. You are Great Lord.

Beloved, we serve a God that answers prayers. Our Father is the owner of the world. He created the world and all that is in it. Therefore nothing happens without His knowledge, neither will anything happen without His permission. The enemy and cohorts might be plotting against us but God who knows the end from the beginning will truncate their plans.

When baby Jesus was to be born, Satan was so vex that he never wanted to be born as prophesied by the holy prophets from the Old Testament that a child shall be born of David house in Bethlehem. When the time of delivery was near, Joseph the house of Mary could not find a place for her wife because of the census ordered by the Emperor Augustus but God went ahead of devil and provided a place for Christ in the manger. Seeing that plans had failed.

King Herod was furious that there is going to be another king as side Him, He ordered that every child in his province from age 2 to new born be put to sword. Do you remember what happened? God made a way of escape by sending an angel ahead to joseph who escape with Mary and the baby Jesus.

Beloved, is not just you and I that Satan is fighting to frustrate, or to slow us down, or get us disappointed or failure. That has been his work from the foundation of the world.

But I have goodnews for you. God has finish every work concerning you before you were born. All you need do is to ask God to give you the wisdom to walk in His plan concerning you.

The more assuraing promise of God concerning us was boldly written in Ps 23:4,5 – Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:… it means that God walks ahead of you and I in all circumstances of life.

Our safety is guaranteed our food and water is assured.

Let your faith be up while fear be let down as you will pass through but You will not be engulf.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isa. 43:2

Bridge there is none: we must go through the waters, and feel the rush of the rivers. The presence of God in the flood is better than a ferry-boat. Tried we must be, but triumphant we shall be; for Jehovah Himself, who is mightier than many waters, shall be with us. Whenever else He may be away from His people, the Lord will surely be with them in difficulties and dangers. The sorrows of life may rise to an extraordinary height, but the Lord is equal to every occasion.

The enemies of God can put in our way dangers of their own making, namely, persecutions and cruel mockings, which are like a burning fiery furnace. What then? We shall walk through the fires. God being with us, we shall not be burned; nay, not even the smell of fire shall remain upon us.

Oh, the wonderful security of the heaven-born and heaven-bound pilgrim! Floods cannot drown him, nor fires burn him. Thy presence, O Lord, is the protection of thy saints from the varied perils of the road. Behold, in faith I commit myself unto thee, and my spirit enters into rest.

This text commemorate with the story of the three Hebrew boys who opted to be thrown into fire other than worship the image made by the king Nebuchadnezzar, God came into the fire with them and the past through and was not consumed. The brought glory to God because that brought the king to set up another decree that only the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego all over the kingdom.

The Lord will always provide for every of our need including the destruction of our enemies as we will learn from the next ministration:

“And the Lord shewed me four carpenters.” Zechariah 1:20

In the vision described in this chapter, the prophet saw four terrible horns. They were pushing this way and that way, dashing down the strongest and the mightiest; and the prophet asked, “What are these?” The answer was, “These are the horns which have scattered Israel.” He saw before him a representation of those powers which had oppressed the church of God.

There were four horns; for the church is attacked from all quarters. Well might the prophet have felt dismayed; but on a sudden there appeared before him four carpenters. He asked, “What shall these do?” These are the men whom God hath found to break those horns in pieces. God will always find men for His work, and He will find them at the right time.

The prophet did not see the carpenters first, when there was nothing to do, but first the “horns,” and then the “carpenters.” Moreover, the Lord finds enough men. He did not find three carpenters, but four; there were four horns, and there must be four workmen. God finds the right men; not four men with pens to write; not four architects to draw plans; but four carpenters to do rough work.

Rest assured, you who tremble for the ark of God, that when the “horns” grow troublesome, the “carpenters” will be found. You need not fret concerning the weakness of the church of God at any moment; there may be growing up in obscurity the valiant reformer who will shake the nations: Chrysostoms may come forth from our Ragged Schools, and Augustines from the thickest darkness of London’s poverty.

The Lord knows where to find His servants. He hath in ambush a multitude of mighty men, and at His word they shall start up to the battle; “for the battle is the Lord’s,” and He shall get to Himself the victory.

Let us abide faithful to Christ, and He, in the right time, will raise up for us a defence, whether it be in the day of our personal need, or in the season of peril to His Church.

May God increase our faith to believe everything He concerning you and may we be patient enough to walk in His plan concerning you.

Beloved, believe God and it is well with you.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Raining Righteousness

0

Let the Spirit of the Lord come down amen! Let the Spirit of the Lord come down, alleluia, let the Spirit of the Lord, from heaven comes down let the Spirit of the Lord comes down.// Father, we declare that we love You, we declare Your everlasting love for You. Father we declare that we love Thee, we declare Your everlasting love for You.

Father, we declare our love for You Lord because You first loved us and give us Your precious Son Jesus to die for us. Thank You for that great love that knows no end. Thank You for You are Great and Mighty. Thank You for watching over us and upholding us by Your righteousness. Thank You and Thank You again again.

Beloved, we are here again to call on that Name that is Great and very Great. The Name at which every knee bows at. Demons trembles and surrender at His very presence. Incurable disease disappear with a touch at the hem of His garment. If we believe His Name works wonders.  Are You ready to shout that Name and be made whole?

This is the first Wednesday of this month. We are here again to pray. Prayer is the oil that grease our wheels. Without prayer our life will encounter bumps, sometimes those bumps are unpalatable and belligerence. You wish it taken away but not as easy as creped in. so we must watch lest the enemy of our soul creeps in on us like a thief in the night.

Let us make use of every opportunity presented to us to pray and not faint. We are encouraged by our teaching of today to sow righteousness. What does that mean someone is asking? Do good all the way. Take away evil and sinful acts around you and the Word of God said you will reap faithful love. That means the love of God will surround you because God is love. God becomes Your friend and personal Savior.

Men ought to pray and faint not. Jesus prayed we also need to pray and faint not. Let us make pray a priority in our daily schedule so that the Spirit of God will take us over and help us to be everything God made us to be. Praise God.

Beloved, let righteousness rain all over You and You will see how effective Your prayer life becomes.

Let us go through our ministration for the day.

Sow righteousness for yourselves

and reap faithful love;

break up your untilled ground.

It is time to seek the Lord

until He comes and sends righteousness

on you like the rain.—Hosea 10:12

The people of Hosea’s day had become hardened to God’s Word. They had heard it many times before and had grown apathetic to what God required of them. God’s solution was for them to break up the fallow ground of their hearts. They were to allow Him to soften their hardened hearts.

When the earth was dry and crusty, the farmer would plow to loosen the soil so it was receptive to the seeds and the rains that would give life to the crop. Likewise, God’s people were to break up the sinful barriers in their lives that prevented God’s Word from penetrating their hearts. Then, said Hosea, God would give life and refresh them by raining down on them in righteousness.

As Christians, we must continually cultivate our hearts and minds so that they are receptive to whatever God tells us. John the Baptist exhorted those around him to prepare for Jesus’ coming. We, too, can remind others to prepare their lives so that God’s righteousness will penetrate and fill their lives. We can urge them to repent when we see sin sinking into their lives.

We can share the joy that God’s Word brings us and encourage our friends to seek God’s will also. We can model obedience for our children. We can tell of the blessings that have come to us as a result of our obedience. We can help to break up the fallow ground in the hearts of those around us.

Hosea admonished God’s people to seek the Lord until His righteousness rained down upon them. We should immediately cultivate our heart whenever it starts to become hardened toward God. If we keep our hearts prepared, we will be ready when God’s Word comes to us.

Beloved, hardened not your heart as we are admonished by today’s teaching. Is there anyone who You desire a change in his or her life time to pray is now. So let us pray as we ought pray and gain strength for time of need.

“Men ought always to pray.” Luke 18:1

If men ought always to pray and not to faint, much more Christian men. Jesus has sent His church into the world on the same errand upon which He Himself came, and this mission includes intercession. What if I say that the church is the world’s priest? Creation is dumb, but the church is to find a mouth for it.

It is the church’s high privilege to pray with acceptance. The door of grace is always open for her petitions, and they never return empty-handed. The veil was rent for her, the blood was sprinkled upon the altar for her, God constantly invites her to ask what she wills. Will she refuse the privilege which angels might envy her? Is she not the bride of Christ?

May she not go in unto her King at every hour? Shall she allow the precious privilege to be unused? The church always has need for prayer. There are always some in her midst who are declining, or falling into open sin. There are lambs to be prayed for, that they may be carried in Christ’s bosom? the strong, lest they grow presumptuous; and the weak, lest they become despairing.

If we kept up prayer-meetings four-and-twenty hours in the day, all the days in the year, we might never be without a special subject for supplication. Are we ever without the sick and the poor, the afflicted and the wavering? Are we ever without those who seek the conversion of relatives, the reclaiming of back-sliders, or the salvation of the depraved?

Nay, with congregations constantly gathering, with ministers always preaching, with millions of sinners lying dead in trespasses and sins; in a country over which the darkness of Romanism is certainly descending; in a world full of idols, cruelties, devilries, if the church doth not pray, how shall she excuse her base neglect of the commission of her loving Lord?

Let the church be constant in supplication, let every private believer cast his mite of prayer into the treasury.

The need for us to pray are countless and ever growing. Let us be on our knee and pray.

Beloved, let us pray especially for the souls that are perishing. Let us also remember those that are sick because the devil has taken away their usefulness to the body of Christ. let us remember those whose sources of livelihood is under contention that God will restore them back to help the evangelistic movement of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, I know You answers prayer, answer us when we call. Take away every limitation on our way and make us vibrant for Your kingdom work in Jesus Name.

Beloved, let us pray!!!!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

    High Places of Defense

0

Blessed be the Name of the Lord, Blessed be the Name of the Lord, Blessed the Name of the Lord! The Name of the Lord is a strong Tower, the righteous run in, they are safe 2x// take glory Father, take glory Son, take glory Holy Ghost now forever more 2x.

Our Father in heaven O God, hallow be thy Name, let thy kingdom come and thy will be done on earth. Give us this day, our daily bread, lead us not into temptation but delivery us from all evil. Father in heaven O God! We Thank You for another opportunity to stand before Your presence. Thank You for Your are God and reigneth in Majesty. Blessed be Your Name. We worship You. We bless Your Holy Name for You are God and You liveth forever and ever.

Beloved, how are you doing today? Glory be to God who regineth in Majesty. He is the Great I AM; He is Mighty in battle, blessed be the Name of the Lord. Beloved, who can battle with the Lord? The Lord is a strong tower and the righteousness into it and are safe. Our God is our defense and our strong, what a confidence we have here.

Thank God we are complete in Him, therefore we have nothing to fear; we have nothing to be afraid of. Satan will try to put fear in you or make you look desperate or defenseless but not to worry because you are the image of God, you need not be afraid.

The Spirit of God led me into rheme concerning who we are when I was pondering on the theme of the month. He said we are made in God’s image and that is who we are (Ps 82:6). Therefore, devil shall flee from us not the other way round. He took me to 1 Sam 5:1-5- in this scripture, when the Philistines captured the ark of God. Thy place the ark in the house of Dagon. Dagon could not stand in the presence of God. The first night it fall with it face on the ground before the ark of Jehovah. In their thinking, they thought it was a coincidence. They pick it up and put it in place again but the next morning as they went in to worship again they discover that the Dagon has broken into pieces.

He then asked me what is contain in the ark of God. Turn your bible to Deut 10 reading from verse one up to verse five, what did You see? The ark contain the commandment of God. So it sacred unto God (vs 8).

Let open our bibles to Jer 31:33- what is written therein? The Lord made a covenant with us by putting His law in our heart, therefore in our time the law or commandment is no longer in the ark but in you through the power of the Holy Spirit. Beloved, you are the very image of God. If the Christ resides in your heart. If the light of God is in you. If you are obedient to the Word of God. If you are dwelling in the presence of God, then beloved, no evil shall over take or overcome you, rather they shall fall before you because you are carrying the presences of God with you. Praise the Lord.

I decree to a reader of this devotional that every work of Satan bows before You in Jesus Name. Whenever you appear devil will fall with his face on the ground in Jesus Name. Every shame the enemy and his cohorts has been tormenting you from today cease its operation in the Name of Jesus.

Because yea are gods. Because you carry the presences of God inside of you. that is Your dominion. You are victorious in Christ Jesus but he won the victory at the cross and He is sited on high in the heavenly place far above the principalities and powers, far above the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Beloved, we are secured in high places of defense – our Lord Jesus Christ.

“He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.” Isa. 33:16

The man to whom God has given grace to be of blameless life dwells in perfect security.

He dwells on high, above the world, out of gunshot of the enemy, and near to Heaven. He has high aims and motives, and he finds high comforts and company. He rejoices in the mountains of eternal love, wherein he has his abode.

He is defended by munitions of stupendous rock. The firmest things in the universe are the promises and purposes of the unchanging God, and these are the safeguard of the obedient believer.

He is provided for by this great promise, “Bread shall be given him.” As the enemy cannot climb the fort, nor break down the rampart, so the fortress cannot be captured by siege and famine. The Lord, who rained manna in the wilderness, will keep His people in good store even when they are surrounded by those who would starve them.

But what if water should fail? That cannot be, “his waters shall be sure.” There is a never-failing well within the impregnable fortress. The Lord sees that nothing is wanting. None can touch the citizen of the true Zion. However fierce the enemy, the Lord will preserve His chosen.

Your fortress cannot be captured by siege and famine, for the Lord will rain manna in the wilderness. The power of God will do these for us because that same power is at work in Christ:

“The exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead.” Ephesians 1:19,20

In the resurrection of Christ, as in our salvation, there was put forth nothing short of a divine power. What shall we say of those who think that conversion is wrought by the free will of man, and is due to his own betterness of disposition?

When we shall see the dead rise from the grave by their own power, then may we expect to see ungodly sinners of their own free will turning to Christ. It is not the word preached, nor the word read in itself; all quickening power proceeds from the Holy Ghost.

This power was irresistible. All the soldiers and the high priests could not keep the body of Christ in the tomb; Death himself could not hold Jesus in his bonds: even thus irresistible is the power put forth in the believer when he is raised to newness of life. No sin, no corruption, no devils in hell nor sinners upon earth, can stay the hand of God’s grace when it intends to convert a man.

If God omnipotently says, “Thou shalt,” man shall not say, “I will not.” Observe that the power which raised Christ from the dead was glorious. It reflected honour upon God and wrought dismay in the hosts of evil. So there is great glory to God in the conversion of every sinner.

It was everlasting power. “Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him.” So we, being raised from the dead, go not back to our dead works nor to our old corruptions, but we live unto God. “Because He lives we live also.” “For we are dead, and our life is hid with Christ in God.” “Like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

Lastly, in the text mark the union of the new life to Jesus. The same power which raised the Head works life in the members. What a blessing to be quickened together with Christ!

Beloved, what a privilege we have in Christ to be quicken by same Spirit that raised Him up from the grave. That same power is at work in you and me. Praise the Name of the Lord.

I am so glad I belong to Jesus, He is my defense so high that nothing can stand before Him. Thank You, Lord Jesus for making me your own in Jesus Name. I hope that is also your confession. Thank God for who I am in Christ Jesus. Glory be to Your Name.

You become powerless when you allow sin to reign in your life so beware of the enemy of your soul –SIN.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
