Faithful God we thank You, we honour You, we glorify Your Name, we bless Your Name forever and ever. We are grateful for another opportunity to serve in Your kingdom and be blessed. Blessed be Thy forever.  Wonderful Redeemer we Thank You for ever and ever. What shall we say unto the Lord for His goodness and His wonderful works to us His children.

We come with thanksgiving to worship and to honour Your Holy Name forever and ever. Have Your way again today and blessed be Thy Holy Name for ever and ever.

Beloved, what a wonderful day ahead of us today. The Lord has given us victory over His enemies. He has delivered from all unrighteous and have set us on high above my enemies His banner over us is love.

Faithful Father, we are together again to praise and to worship You, let our soul be satisfied as You have promised us give us another reason to praise and glorified Your Name now and forever.

Do you believe that your soul are sanctified? Do you also believe that your soul will be satisfied? Whatever be it that is before you, the Lord is saying He will satisfy You.

Believe Your Father and it shall done unto the according to His Word because it faileth not.

Is your soul yet to be sanctified, here is an opportunity to be among this family of God. Click here and be part of this great family:

“My people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord.” Jer. 31:14

Note the “my” which comes twice: “My people shall be satisfied with my goodness.”

The kind of people who are satisfied with God are marked out as God’s own. He is pleased with them, for they are pleased with Him. They call Him their God, and He calls them His people; He is satisfied to take them for a portion, and they are satisfied with Him for their portion. There is a mutual communion of delight between God’s Israel and Israel’s God.

These people are satisfied. This is a grand thing. Very few of the sons of men are ever satisfied, let their lot be what it may; they have swallowed the horse-leech, and it continually cries, “Give! give!” Only sanctified souls are satisfied souls. God Himself must both convert us and content us.

It is no wonder that the Lord’s people should be satisfied with the goodness of their Lord. Here is goodness without mixture, bounty without stint, mercy without chiding, love without change, favor without reserve. If God’s goodness does not satisfy us, what will? What! are we still groaning? Surely there is a wrong desire within if it be one which God’s goodness does not satisfy.

Lord, I am satisfied. Blessed be Thy name. Let’s keep going:

“O that I knew where I might find Him!” Job 23:3

In Job’s uttermost extremity he cried after the Lord. The longing desire of an afflicted child of God is once more to see his Father’s face. His first prayer is not “O that I might be healed of the disease which now festers in every part of my body!” nor even “O that I might see my children restored from the jaws of the grave, and my property once more brought from the hand of the spoiler!” but the first and uppermost cry is, “O that I knew where I might find HIM, who is my God! that I might come even to His seat!” God’s children run home when the storm comes on.

It is the heaven-born instinct of a gracious soul to seek shelter from all ills beneath the wings of Jehovah. “He that hath made his refuge God,” might serve as the title of a true believer. A hypocrite, when afflicted by God, resents the infliction, and, like a slave, would run from the Master who has scourged him; but not so the true heir of heaven, he kisses the hand which smote him, and seeks shelter from the rod in the bosom of the God who frowned upon him.

Job’s desire to commune with God was intensified by the failure of all other sources of consolation. The patriarch turned away from his sorry friends, and looked up to the celestial throne, just as a traveller turns from his empty skin bottle, and betakes himself with all speed to the well. He bids farewell to earth-born hopes, and cries, “O that I knew where I might find my God!”

Nothing teaches us so much the preciousness of the Creator, as when we learn the emptiness of all besides. Turning away with bitter scorn from earth’s hives, where we find no honey, but many sharp stings, we rejoice in Him whose faithful word is sweeter than honey or the honeycomb. In every trouble we should first seek to realize God’s presence with us. Only let us enjoy His smile, and we can bear our daily cross with a willing heart for His dear sake.

Lord that is our heart desire, be it grant unto us that we be satisfy according to Your Word in this first working day of the week we pray in Jesus Name!

Beloved, this week is declared blessed in the Name of the God the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit   May the Lord satisfy you all through this  week in Jesus Name.

If you yet to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour please do so now as it only the sanctified soul will He  satisfied.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Christian Anger

0

I am thanking You Lord for Who You Are, what You have done Dan Sakira Baba 2x// Who has the final say, Jehovah have the final say 2x. Jehovah turn my life around 2x e makes a way where there seem no way, Jehovah has the final say.

Faithful Jehovah, we Thank You we worship You we exalt Your Name forever, Glory be Your Holy Name. Faithful Father, we reverence You, we adore Thee, be thou exalted in Jesus Name.

Beloved, faithful is our God, I have seen God’s faithfulness and love. He faileth not, His love knows no end. The bible said that God is love. Is only love that can make you go an extra miles for anybody but God’s love is inexhaustible. He is love and that is my confident that concerning me and He is in charge.

We are will dwell a little while on our theme of the month- self-control.

What do you think that made Cain to kill Abel? The Bible does not say why God rejected Cain’s offering. Perhaps Cain’s attitude was improper, or perhaps his offering was not up to God’s standards. God evaluates both our motives and the quality of what we offer him. When we give to God and others, we should have a joyful heart because of what we are able to give.

How do you react when someone suggests you have done something wrong? Do you move to correct the mistake or deny that you need to correct it? After Cain’s offering was rejected, God gave him the chance to right his wrong and try again. God even encouraged him to do this! But Cain refused, and the rest of his life is a startling example of what happens to those who refuse to admit their mistakes. The next time someone suggests you are wrong, take an honest look at yourself and choose God’s way instead of Cain’s.

Another person we have to consider again is Esau. Anger is often the result of bad decisions. Esau was so angry at Jacob that he failed to see his own wrong in giving away his birthright in the first place. Jealous anger keeps us from seeing the benefits we have and makes us dwell on what we don’t have.

When Esau lost the valuable family blessing, his future suddenly changed. Reacting in anger, he decided to kill Jacob. When you lose something of great value, or if others conspire against you and succeed, anger is the first and most natural reaction. But you can control your feelings by (1) recognizing your reaction for what it is; (2) praying for strength; and (3) asking God for help to see the opportunities that even your bad situation may provide.

Having said this is important we guide against anger because you will never please God when you are cannot exercise self-control. You will not be a better instrument in God’s hand if You cannot exercise self-control.

How can we be anger and do not sin. Jesus was angry about the Pharisees’ uncaring attitudes. Anger itself is not wrong. It depends on what makes us angry and what we do with our anger. Too often we express our anger in selfish and harmful ways. By contrast, Jesus expressed his anger by correcting a problem-healing the man’s hand. Use your anger to find constructive solutions rather than tear people down.

Jesus became angry, but He did not sin. There is a place for righteous indignation. Christians are right to be upset about sin and injustice and should take a stand against them. Unfortunately, believers are often passive about these important issues and instead get angry over personal insults and petty irritations. Make sure your anger is directed toward the right issues.

We will see more as we go into the teaching of the day:

Be angry and do not sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger. . . —Ephesians 4:26

Few things are more destructive to Christians than anger. Anger causes us to lose our self-control and to say and do things we would otherwise never consider. Anger, if allowed to remain, turns into bitterness that eats away at our hearts. Scripture consistently commands believers to put away anger and lists it as one of the sins of the flesh (Eph. 4:31).

At times, we try to defend our anger by citing Ephesians 4:26. As additional proof we argue that Jesus cleansed the temple in “righteous indignation.” Ephesians refers to anger that does not lead to sin. Jesus was capable of being angry without sinning. When Jesus cleared the temple, Scripture does not indicate that He was angry (Matt. 21:12–14; Mark 11:15–18; Luke 19:45–46).

We must be careful not to justify our anger with Scripture. Ephesians 4:31 commands us to put away all anger. That does not mean that we cease to have strong convictions or lose our desire for justice. It does mean we refuse to allow the sins of others to cause us to sin. Anger does not bring about God’s redemptive work; far more often it hinders what God is working to accomplish.

If you feel that you have a righteous anger because of something that has happened, see if you are holding anger in your heart without sin. Is your anger turning into bitterness? Is your anger causing you to speak in an unchristian manner to someone or to gossip about them? Is your anger causing you to make excuses for your own ungodly behavior?

Is your anger preventing you from acting in a loving, redemptive, and Christlike way toward someone? You must examine any anger within you and allow God to remove any sinful attitudes that your anger may have produced.

Read more on how God influence you toward righteousness, it important we learn this to avoid falling into error:

Five Ways God Influences Us Toward Righteousness

Our loving Heavenly Father desires to affect our lives toward righteous character and godly living. Hebrews 12 indicates five ways He does it:

  1. He ENCOURAGES us: Verse 5a speaks of His “word of encouragement that addresses us as sons… ” (Greek: paraklesis)

The idea here is one of entreaty, or imploring; much as you would encourage a child whom you want to excel in sports or academics. (See Acts 20:2; Romans 12:8; 1 Thessalonians 2:3)

  1. He DISCIPLINES us: “Do not make light of the Lords disciplinebecause the Lord disciplines those He loves… ” (vs. 5a, 6a) (Greek: paidea)

The idea here is one of education: Learning that occurs through the pain of discipline. (See 1 Corinthians 11:32; Hebrews 12:7, 10, 11)

  1. He REBUKES us: “Do not loose heart when He rebukes you… ” (vs. 12:5b) (Greek: elegcho)

The idea here is one of exposing our deviant behavior. Telling us of our faults. (See Matthew 16:22; Luke 17:3; 1 Timothy 5:1, 20; 2 Timothy 4:2)

  1. He PUNISHES us: “He punishes everyone He accepts as sons.” (vs. 12:6b) (Greek: mastigoo)

The idea here is one of severe penalization: Whipping a person for the purpose of inflicting suffering. (See Proverbs 22:15; 23:13, 14; 1 Corinthians 10:6; 1 Thessalonians 4:6; Hebrews 10:29)

  1. He TRAINS us: “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” (vs. 12:11) (Greek: gumnazo)

The idea here is of one who is trained (disciplined) by God to live a godly life. We, in kind then, are to exercise ourselves in godly discipline. (See 1 Timothy 4:7; Hebrews 5:14; 2 Timothy 3:16)

We are to respond to His discipline as follows:

  1. Don’t resist, despise, or make light of it; don’t be discouraged, or grow weary from it (vs. 5).
  2. Understand it is evidence that we are His spiritual offspring; evidence of His love (vs. 6).
  3. Don’t try to get out from under it (vs. 7-9).
  4. Understand that discipline results in holy lives, righteousness, and peace (vs. 10,11).
  5. Regain your strength and straighten your path as a result of it (vs. 12, 13).

May God help us that we fail not into temptation in Jesus Name. May the Spirit of God help us to live as God has designed us to live. Every Spirit of anger be destroyed in Jesus Name. May God strengthen us from above in Jesus Name.

Have a wonderful weekend!!! See you next week by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord

God Is Faithful

The Name of Jesus the Name of Jesus set my free, in sin and sorrow the blood of Jesus set my free.// The Name (the Name of Jesus), is greater and higher than all name. It is a not ordinary it a Name, is a Name that is full of power and grace.

Father, we Thank You, we bless Your Holy Name, we adore You, we give You praise, we adore You, we glorify You forever. We honour You for You are Mighty and great. Blessed be Thy Name forever. Thank You for this great of day and the blessings therein. Glory be to Your Name forever and ever.

Beloved, how was yesterday prayer time? Great I suppose. the Name of Jesus is Great and powerful than You can ever imagine. I made a song with Name and it was a powerful weapon I tell You and I used it all through the Day. Jesus Name so Great; Emmanuel’s Name is good.

And in today’s faith clinic, we are still going use that Might Name the Name ‘Jesus’.

So what are trusting God for in the clinic today, Jesus is ere is do just that. But you have to believe Him that He can do it. Let’s consider Mk 6:56- there we see Jesus healing all kinds of disease and making them whole. Wholeness is the key thing in Divine healing.

Remember the story of the ten leper after Jesus told them to go show themselves to the priest one came back to give thanks and Jesus made a statement that settled his case forever. While nine was healed, one was made whole. As result of thanksgiving. He recognized the healer and reverence Him and Jesus was very please and pronounced wholeness on him.

Today, we are considering the faithfulness of God. Is God still faithful? Is He still in control? Is wholeness still possible in our today’s world? God’s faithfulness is true and true. His Word is Yea and Amen. The Word of God endureth forever and must surely come to past.

Beloved, what are trusting God for? What are believing God for? The goodnews is that our God is faithful and to everyone He called to Himself He isfaithful.
That what we will be discussing soon. Apostle Paul also have some faithful saying that we will be discussing also. Let’s get into the teaching of the day:

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.—1 Thessalonians 5:24

God never calls us to do anything without faithfully keeping His word and enabling us to do it. We are not always faithful to do what God tells us, but He remains faithful and stands by His word to fulfill what He has promised (Isa. 46:11).

When the children of Israel reached the Red Sea, they might have concluded that God had abandoned His promise to them. The sea was barring their advance, and the murderous Egyptian army was racing to overtake them! Yet God proved then, as He has ever since, that He is absolutely faithful to every word He speaks to His children.

God may have spoken to you about something in particular—a ministry in your church, the way to raise your children, or what you should do in your job. You have obeyed Him, but now you face a Red Sea experience. It seems that what you thought God wanted to accomplish is not happening. Perhaps your ministry has not been well received, or your children are rebelling, or those at your workplace are criticizing your actions.

Trust in the character of God. It is His nature to be faithful. The testimony of His people throughout the ages is expressed by the psalmist, who declared: “I have been young, and now I am old; / Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, / Nor his descendants begging bread” (Ps. 37:25).

Regardless of how bleak your present circumstances are, do not lose hope. No one has ever experienced unfaithfulness on God’s part! Allow time for God to reveal His faithfulness to you. Someday you will reflect on what God has done and praise Him for His absolute faithfulness to you.

Apostle Paul saw the faithfulness of God and have the following to say. Come on to read the following faithful sayings about the Lord as tested and proven by Paul:

“It is a faithful saying.” 2Timothy 2:11

Paul has four of these “faithful sayings.” The first occurs in 1 Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” The next is in 1 Timothy 4:6, “Godliness is profitable unto all things, having the promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation.” The third is in 2 Timothy 2:12, “It is a faithful saying—If we suffer with Him we shall also reign with Him”; and the fourth is in Titus 3:3, “This is a faithful saying, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.” We may trace a connection between these faithful sayings.

The first one lays the foundation of our eternal salvation in the free grace of God, as shown to us in the mission of the great Redeemer. The next affirms the double blessedness which we obtain through this salvation—the blessings of the upper and nether springs—of time and of eternity. The third shows one of the duties to which the chosen people are called; we are ordained to suffer for Christ with the promise that “if we suffer, we shall also reign with Him.” The last sets forth the active form of Christian service, bidding us diligently to maintain good works.

Thus we have the root of salvation in free grace; next, the privileges of that salvation in the life which now is, and in that which is to come; and we have also the two great branches of suffering with Christ and serving with Christ, loaded with the fruits of the Spirit. Treasure up these faithful sayings. Let them be the guides of our life, our comfort, and our instruction.

The apostle of the Gentiles proved them to be faithful, they are faithful still, not one word shall fall to the ground; they are worthy of all acceptation, let us accept them now, and prove their faithfulness. Let these four faithful sayings be written on the four corners of My house.

And you will be blessed when you apply the above sayings in your life and situation.

May God remaineth true and true in all the days of your life in Jesus. The faithfulness of God is on Holy living. So stay Holy and see God faithfulness working in your life.

For the faithfulness of God is sure and guaranteed. His Word never fail but standeth sure.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Name to Use

0

Jesus Jesus Jesus You are Lord of my soul, O! Jesus Jesus Jesus You are the Lord O! Jesus You are the Lord of my soul, sweet Jesus You are the Lord of my soul.// How Excellent is Your Name O God! 2x How Excellent is Your Name 3x O! God.

Father, we Thank You for another day in Your present to worship You and adore You for Who You are. Thank You Eternal Rock of Ages. What a wonderful day You have made and You said we should rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You Merciful Father for Who You are. Let Your Name alone be glorify in Jesus Name.

Beloved, today is another day to pour out your heart before God and be blessed. One thing I know that no one comes in His presence and remain same, there must be transformation. If you are sick and the Lord grace you with His presence; you are made whole. If you are confuse and you enter into God’s presence, the Lord of peace will grant you His peace.

When you are desperate and don’t know the way forward, the Spirit of God will whisper behind you this is the way. There is a Name that is above every other names. There is Name that is Greater than every other names. Beloved, there is Name that every knees bows to. There is a Name every tongue confess that He is Lord.

There is Name every power and demons fears and tremble at the mention of it. This Name is far above principalities and thrones. Glory be to God.

The Name J-E-S-U-S is the Name that God has given to us to be save and to be delivered. The beautify thing about this Name is that He knows those that belongs to Him. He goes about doing good and saving those in bondages and solely oppressed and making them whole (Mk 6:56).  What a Name- JESUS.

The Name of Jesus opens doors and ways where there seems to be no way. There is so much confident in the Name “Jesus”. This Name is not only Excellent; is also Wonderful.

Jesus gave instruction on the use of His Name. We are going to exactly that and receive result.

Let us go ahead and be blessed:

“If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:14

What a wide promise! Anything! Whether large or small, all my needs are covered by that word “anything.” Come, my soul, be free at the mercy seat, and hear thy Lord saying to thee, “Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

What a wise promise! We are always to ask in the name of Jesus. While this encourages us, it also honors Him. This is a constant plea. Occasionally every other plea is darkened, especially such as we could draw from our own relation to God, or our experience of His grace; but at such times the name of Jesus is as mighty at the throne as ever, and we may plead it with full assurance.

What an instructive prayer! I may not ask for anything to which I cannot put Christ’s hand and seal. I dare not use my Lord’s name to a selfish or willful petition. I may only use my Lord’s name to prayers which He would Himself pray if He were in my case. It is a high privilege to be authorized to ask in the name of Jesus as if Jesus Himself asked; but our love to Him will never allow us to set that name where He would not have set it.

Am I asking for that which Jesus approves? Dare I put His seal to my prayer? Then I have that which I seek of the Father.

There is a limitation to the use of Jesus Name. that why the evil doers will never prosper in the endeavours because the Name of Jesus can never be named in the schemes therefore their enterprise will not prosper. When they come against any child of God the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against it and that standard is the Name J-E-S-U-S.

Beloved, arise and be rejoice and be glad because your Father’s Name has so much efficacy in it. I am so excited and am sure you are dancing because you are winner in the Lord Jesus. You are an overcomer by your faith in the Name of JESUS. Praise the Name of the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the bible said we should prayer always and not faint. Because when the oil is low or less is may not shock the pressure as it should. Beloved, let us pray always as we were instructed by Jesus and faint not. Praise Jesus!

“Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.” Psalm 68:28

It is our wisdom, as well as our necessity, to beseech God continually to strengthen that which He has wrought in us. It is because of their neglect in this, that many Christians may blame themselves for those trials and afflictions of spirit which arise from unbelief.

It is true that Satan seeks to flood the fair garden of the heart and make it a scene of desolation, but it is also true that many Christians leave open the sluice-gates themselves, and let in the dreadful deluge through carelessness and want of prayer to their strong Helper.

We often forget that the Author of our faith must be the Preserver of it also. The lamp which was burning in the temple was never allowed to go out, but it had to be daily replenished with fresh oil; in like manner, our faith can only live by being sustained with the oil of grace, and we can only obtain this from God Himself.

Foolish virgins we shall prove, if we do not secure the needed sustenance for our lamps. He who built the world upholds it, or it would fall in one tremendous crash; He who made us Christians must maintain us by His Spirit, or our ruin will be speedy and final. Let us, then, evening by evening, go to our Lord for the grace and strength we need.

We have a strong argument to plead, for it is His own work of grace which we ask Him to strengthen—”that which Thou hast wrought for us.” Think you He will fail to protect and sustain that? Only let your faith take hold of His strength, and all the powers of darkness, led on by the master fiend of hell, cannot cast a cloud or shadow over your joy and peace.

Why faint when you may be strong? Why suffer defeat when you may conquer? Oh! take your wavering faith and drooping graces to Him who can revive and replenish them, and earnestly pray, “Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.”

Beloved, this is greatest ticket I have ever seen. Take it and make good use of it. The Name of JESUS is above every other Name so take hold of it. God declared it and if God cannot lie then you must hold on to His Word as never before.

Lord, we are here before You and we do as You bid us. Answer our prayers Father that Your Name Alone May be feared.

Beloved, call on the name JESUS and receive answers to all Your request.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Underneath are the everlasting arms.”

0

Praise the Lord O! my soul; praise the Lord O my soul. Praise the Lord O! my soul; praise the Lord O my soul.

Praise the Lord O! my soul; praise the Lord O my soul. Praise the Lord O! my soul; praise the Lord O my soul. // let everything that has breath praise the Lord and let living rejoice, let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Father in heaven O God! Thank You for all Your goodness that surround Your people. Thank You most gracious God for watching over us, upholding and loving us with Your everlasting love. Thank You for blessings that awaits us this day, glory be to Your Holy Name.

Beloved, how are you doing? How well are doing in the school of self-control? Hope You are working hard at it. Thank be Jesus who will always help us. The Holy Spirit is our greatest partner as we make this journey, so always make sure that He is ever near. To help you in times of need. Glory be to God.

Beloved, who is greater than Jehovah? Our God is a God of battle. On one can battle Him and succeed. If You are a child of God I have good news for you “Your God is Mighty”. He is higher than any mountain you can ever think about, even in lowest valley God is there. The topic before us is Awesome and reassuring. I am so exciting when I read the bible passage to the end. I encourage to do the same.

Keep His Word close. Paste it on the walls. Echo it back to yourself, apply it to your situation and you will see the Word working in your favour. Glory be to God:

“Underneath are the everlasting arms.” Deuteronomy 33:27

God—the eternal God—is Himself our support at all times, and especially when we are sinking in deep trouble. There are seasons when the Christian sinks very low in humiliation. Under a deep sense of his great sinfulness, he is humbled before God till he scarcely knows how to pray, because he appears, in his own sight, so worthless.

Well, child of God, remember that when thou art at thy worst and lowest, yet “underneath” thee “are everlasting arms.” Sin may drag thee ever so low, but Christ’s great atonement is still under all. You may have descended into the deeps, but you cannot have fallen so low as “the uttermost”; and to the uttermost He saves.

Again, the Christian sometimes sinks very deeply in sore trial from without. Every earthly prop is cut away. What then? Still underneath him are “the everlasting arms.” He cannot fall so deep in distress and affliction but what the covenant grace of an ever-faithful God will still encircle him. The Christian may be sinking under trouble from within through fierce conflict, but even then he cannot be brought so low as to be beyond the reach of the “everlasting arms”—they are underneath him; and, while thus sustained, all Satan’s efforts to harm him avail nothing.

This assurance of support is a comfort to any weary but earnest worker in the service of God. It implies a promise of strength for each day, grace for each need, and power for each duty. And, further, when death comes, the promise shall still hold good. When we stand in the midst of Jordan, we shall be able to say with David, “I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.” We shall descend into the grave, but we shall go no lower, for the eternal arms prevent our further fall.

All through life, and at its close, we shall be upheld by the “everlasting arms”—arms that neither flag nor lose their strength, for “the everlasting God fainteth not, neither is weary.”

This is a good promise to someone who is greatly chastised or suffering thinking when will God help me. I want to assure you that God’s hand is underneath you and that is why you are still there. All you need do is turn away from that concerns of yours and look steadily at the Word than will you hear Jesus whispering His love to you.

Let’s keep going:

The Next Time You Are Down In The Dumps

Struggling with your worth as a person…

Or despairing of life…

Or nursing your wounds over being hurt, shunned, or put down,

Do a reality check as to just who you are in the eyes of God:

  • GOD HAS ALWAYS LOVED YOU – FROM ALL ETERNITY:

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3b) (See Psalm 103:17; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; James 1:18)

  • GOD HAS ALWAYS PLANNED TO CHOSE YOU FOR HIMSELF:

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” (Ephesians 1:4) (See 1 Peter 2:9; Deuteronomy 7:6, 7; 14:2)

  • GOD THOUGHT ENOUGH OF YOU TO SPILL HIS SON’S BLOOD TO RESCUE YOU:

You were redeemed from the empty way of lifewith the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” (1 Peter 1:18b, 19) (See Psalm 74:2; Hebrews 9:12-14)

  • GOD CONSIDERS YOU HIS SOLE POSSESSION:

(He) gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” (Titus 2:14) (See Acts 15:14; Deuteronomy 4:20; 14:2)

  • GOD HAS INVITED YOU INTO HIS FAMILY TO BE A JOINT-HEIR WITH HIS SON, JESUS:

We areheirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” (Romans 8:17b) (See Luke 12:32; Galatians 3:29; 4:7)

So take heart, my fellow struggler – and heir. True, “we must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22) But take comfort in knowing that Jesus is returning to take you with Him:

They will see the Son of Man comingwith power and great glory. When these things begin to take placelift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:27b, 28)

Beloved, I am comforted and am sure you are too. Always know that God’s hand is beneath you at all time. let fear go back to where it belong……….. pit…abyss. Because He that is in You is greater than He that is in the World.

Glory be to God. You are free and free forever. You are healed and You healing is permanent. You are restored and that remaineth forever and ever. Faithful is our God and He is greatly to be praised.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Thank You Father for the gift of another week, another day, we blessed Your Holy Name forever and ever. We pray that You go ahead of us and make this week a glorious one. Perfect all that concerns us and help to be everything You have propose for us to be in Jesus Name.

Beloved, wow! Glory to be God! I want to ask you a question, who has the final say in your life and situation?  Another question I will like you to consider and also answer is “whose report will you believe? Don’t give me a head knowledge answer. Let your answer be thoughtful with proofs from the Word of God.

It is important you get these answers written down where you can easily access it in case you cannot memorize it off hand. Why am I sounding this way you may be surprise.

Often time things happen around us and we begin to imagine the unimaginable and begin to think that the World is coming to an end. We remember the promises you received and the present situation is not aligning with it and you get worried and depression is eminent.

We easily forget that God is not man (Num 23:19). His Word will never fail but must accomplish that which He has sent it to do (Isa 55:11). We forget that we serve a Mighty God. We forget that our God id fortress (Ps 91:2). We seem to forget that His promises are “Yea and Amen” (2Cor 1:20). He is a Shield and a Buckler (Ps 91:4; 35:2). He is a strong Tower (Prov 18:10, Ps 94:22; 62:2).

We forgot to confess that we shall live because He lives. Jesus is the Vine while I am the branch. So long as I am abiding; I will continue to prosper because it is written and what is written cannot be broken (Jn 15:4-7).

Be strengthen as you go through the teaching of the day. Lay hold on the promises of God and prosper. Remember beloved He that keepeth you neither slumber nor sleep. He watches over you and will not fail because He had promised.

Let go on:

“Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Ps. 121:4

Jehovah is “the Keeper of Israel.” No form of unconsciousness ever steals over Him, neither the deeper slumber nor the slighter sleep. He never fails to watch the house and the heart of His people. This is a sufficient reason for our resting in perfect peace. Alexander said that he slept because his friend Parmenio watched; much more may we sleep because our God is our guard.

“Behold” is here set up to call our attention to the cheering truth. Israel, when he had a stone for his pillow, fell asleep; but his God was awake, and came in vision to His servant. When we lie defenseless, Jehovah Himself will cover our head.

The Lord keeps His people as a rich man keeps his treasure, as a captain keeps a city with a garrison, as a sentry keeps watch over his sovereign. None can harm those who are in such keeping. Let me put my soul into His dear hands. He never forgets us, never ceases actively to care for us, never finds Himself unable to preserve us.

O my Lord, keep me, lest I wander and fall and perish. Keep me, that I may keep thy commandments. By thine unslumbering care prevent my sleeping like the sluggard, and perishing like those who sleep the sleep of death.

If that is also your prayer, join us as we run into the God our refuge:

“The eternal God is thy refuge.” Deuteronomy 33:27

The word refuge may be translated “mansion,” or “abiding- place,” which gives the thought that God is our abode, our home. There is a fulness and sweetness in the metaphor, for dear to our hearts is our home, although it be the humblest cottage, or the scantiest garret; and dearer far is our blessed God, in whom we live, and move, and have our being.

It is at home that we feel safe: we shut the world out and dwell in quiet security. So when we are with our God we “fear no evil.” He is our shelter and retreat, our abiding refuge. At home, we take our rest; it is there we find repose after the fatigue and toil of the day. And so our hearts find rest in God, when, wearied with life’s conflict, we turn to Him, and our soul dwells at ease.

At home, also, we let our hearts loose; we are not afraid of being misunderstood, nor of our words being misconstrued. So when we are with God we can commune freely with Him, laying open all our hidden desires; for if the “secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him,” the secrets of them that fear Him ought to be, and must be, with their Lord.

Home, too, is the place of our truest and purest happiness: and it is in God that our hearts find their deepest delight. We have joy in Him which far surpasses all other joy. It is also for home that we work and labour. The thought of it gives strength to bear the daily burden, and quickens the fingers to perform the task; and in this sense we may also say that God is our home. Love to Him strengthens us.

We think of Him in the person of His dear Son; and a glimpse of the suffering face of the Redeemer constrains us to labour in His cause. We feel that we must work, for we have brethren yet to be saved, and we have our Father’s heart to make glad by bringing home His wandering sons; we would fill with holy mirth the sacred family among whom we dwell. Happy are those who have thus the God of Jacob for their refuge!

Beloved, the Lord is good to you. Draw from the fountain of life and live. He is faithful and gracious and will not let our foot be hurt because we declared that we love Him. Our God will send His angels to watch over you and keep you in all your ways. Do you know that even when you tread upon the Lion and adder under your feet. He will answer you when you call and will be with you in trouble. He will deliver you and honour you and will long life He will satisfy you.

This week is declare blessed in the Name of the Lord. Go and do exploits in the name that is above every other Name and return with testimonies by the end of the week in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Are You A Stepping Stone Or Stumbling Block?

What shall I say unto the Lord, all I have to say is Thank You Lord, 2x Thank You Lord 2x all I have to say Thank You Lord. Thank You Lord 2x, all I have to say is Thank You Lord.// all the glory shall be to the Lord for He is Worthy of our praise, no man man on earth should be glory to His name all the glory must be to the Lord.

Father in heaven we Thank You, we bless Your Name, we worship You, we praise Your Name for Who You are. we cannot Thank You enough for all the secret battles You fight for us and the open honour You bestows on us, blessed be Your Holy Name forever.. Father in heaven O God! Thank You for breakthrough. Healing, deliverances and miracles that You bestow on us daily. Let all glory, honour adoration be unto You forever in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, it is PCL today! Glory be to God! who is Your role model? Who is Your Master? Who are You following? Who are imitating? Who is influencing You?

When a child looks exactly like either of the parents especially like the Father, people usually say, “he look like the old chips? Beloved, can it be said of you that you like Jesus? Having accepted Jesus as You Lord and Personal Savior, can it be said that you like Him? Is your life manifesting His lifestyle or otherwise?

These call for soul searching. Meditatively go through these messages as contained in the devotion and reconsider your ways, your action and your thoughts. Is that what Jesus will do? Is only a Spirit that is controlled that will live like Jesus did.

At the end will be able to answer whether You are stepping stone or a stumbling block to those watching You, the young in faith, those considering to take a decision for Christ.

Remember, you are an epistle. An aroma, a sweet savour, that is who you are, that you cannot afford to compromise.

Let’s get into the business:

Are You A Stepping Stone Or Stumbling Block?

I remember a conversation I had with a business man who had resisted coming to Christ for many years. His reason? The innumerable professionals with whom he had done business who were also leaders in their churches. The inconsistency between their faith, so-called, and their practices in business triggered serious questions in his mind as to the authenticity of anything Christian.

One of the greatest challenges we face in our walk with Christ is how to make our profession of faith and practice in business one and the same. The operative word is “blameless“.

Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman.” (Psalm 15:1-3)

Blameless” means conducting our business in such a manner that no one can point the finger at us and utter the word “hypocrite!”

Make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brothers way.” (Romans 15:13)

To help you determine just how blameless you are in your business practices, consider the following questions:

  • Is it wrong to create a “need” in order to market a product? (Job 31:5)
  • When there is a clash between Biblical principles and expediency, which one usually wins? Why?
  • Is the nature of your product in harmony with Biblical values?
  • How do you view your employees? As expendable, once their usefulness wanes? Or as people whom you desire to assist in reaching their highest potential? (Job 31:13)
  • Are the brand properties you attribute to your product honestly represented? (Deuteronomy 16:19; Proverbs 16:11)
  • Is the message you are communicating in your advertising and promotion consistent with Scriptural principles?
  • Do you view the competition as a necessary evil? (2 Corinthians 5:16)
  • As the enemy whom you must crush? (Job 31:29, 40; Zechariah 7:9; Luke 6:31)
  • Or as people for whom Christ died; people to whom you are His Ambassador? (2 Corinthians 5:18-21)
  • Is it possible to love and serve people with whom you are in competition? Do such truths as “Love your neighbor as yourself ” and “Let all that you do be done in love” find application in your business environment? (Matthew 22:39; 1 Corinthians 16:14)
  • When you are in doubt about a marketing strategy or a business decision, do you stop and ask, “What would Jesus do?” Or do you just plow ahead, business as usual? (John 13:16; Ephesians 5:2)

QUESTION: How do your lost associates view you? A stepping stone? A stumbling block?

Brethren, we have be like Jesus walk like Jesus, that is our faith and our confession. Are You saying yes to it? Let’s dig deeper:

“So walk ye in Him.” Colossians 2:6

If we have received Christ Himself in our inmost hearts, our new life will manifest its intimate acquaintance with Him by a walk of faith in Him. Walking implies action. Our religion is not to be confined to our closet; we must carry out into practical effect that which we believe.

If a man walks in Christ, then he so acts as Christ would act; for Christ being in him, his hope, his love, his joy, his life, he is the reflex of the image of Jesus; and men say of that man, “He is like his Master; he lives like Jesus Christ.”

Walking signifies progress. “So walk ye in Him”; proceed from grace to grace, run forward until you reach the uttermost degree of knowledge that a man can attain concerning our Beloved.

Walking implies continuance. There must be a perpetual abiding in Christ. How many Christians think that in the morning and evening they ought to come into the company of Jesus, and may then give their hearts to the world all the day: but this is poor living; we should always be with Him, treading in His steps and doing His will.

Walking also implies habit. When we speak of a man’s walk and conversation, we mean his habits, the constant tenour of his life. Now, if we sometimes enjoy Christ, and then forget Him; sometimes call Him ours, and anon lose our hold, that is not a habit; we do not walk in Him.

We must keep to Him, cling to Him, never let Him go, but live and have our being in Him. “As ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him”; persevere in the same way in which ye have begun, and, as at the first Christ Jesus was the trust of your faith, the source of your life, the principle of your action, and the joy of your spirit, so let Him be the same till life’s end; the same when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and enter into the joy and the rest which remain for the people of God.

O Holy Spirit, enable us to obey this heavenly precept in Jesus Name.

Beloved, let us heed to this call and be blessed.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Good morning Jesus, Good morning Son, I know You come from heaven above. The Holy Spirit is on the Throne, Good morning Jesus; Good morning Lord.// You are the Most High, You are the Most High God 2x, You are the Most High God, 4x Jehovah You are the Most High God.

Heavenly Father we are grateful to You for this day and all the blessings You packaged for us to partake, glory be to Your Name. Merciful Jesus, Who is like unto Thee, Thank You for the blood You shed to set us free and make us whole from sickness and filthiness, glory be to You on high. Holy Spirit of God Divine You are welcome afresh in our midst today. Move within us as never before, help us to enter into God’s presence and dwell therein, come and help our infirmities in Jesus Name.

Beloved, what a wonderful God we serve. Faithful is our God. He is worthy of our praise. Today we are being remembered again the need to know who your Father is and what He can do for you.

This knowledge helps mostly in difficult situation and difficult moments in life. When you may not be able to read or search the scripture. Such knowledge keeps you strong and help you to hold on to your faith because you know in whom you believed.

Do you know that the basic element of your faith can be attacked and it will take only God and the fellowship of sincere brethren to restore you back to faith. However, if do know store up the Word in Your heart and have some written and pasted on walls and many save up in Your dairies and phones beloved, such a time will more terrible. Why in storm two things is like to happen either you survive or you get drown. May God help us in such a time like this in Jesus Name.

Fear is a terrible weapon use by satan against the children of God but the goodnews is that if You can see and remember that Jesus already has won the battle for You yours is to enter into the victory than it will be a lot more easier to handle else You engage in an endless battle and the greatest foe will be telling you that your time is up, he will reminding you of your past failures, he will be telling you of what God is unable to do for you but you should be wiser than that because God is able to everything, with Him nothing is impossible.

Beloved, guide your faith by holding on to Word of God that faileth not. In Christ is our liberty and the devil has no hold over you or your destiny. Never dwell in the past but look up and see the future ahead and remain in the knowledge that Jesus die to set you free and you must stay free whether the devil like it or not.

So get the knowledge you need and hold on to it because that grantee your dominion forever else you return to slavery if you allow Satan to convince you otherwise

“Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God.” Ezek. 34:30

To be the Lord’s own people is a choice blessing, but to know that we are such is a comfortable blessing. It is one thing to hope that God is with us, and another thing to know that He is so. Faith saves us, but assurance satisfies us. We take God to be our God when we believe in Him; but we get the joy of Him when we know that He is ours, and that we are His. No believer should be content with hoping and trusting, he should ask the Lord to lead him on to full assurance, so that matters of hope may become matters of certainty.

It is when we enjoy covenant blessings, and see our Lord Jesus raised up for us as a plant of renown, that we come to a clear knowledge of the favor of God toward us. Not by law, but by grace, do we learn that we are the Lord’s people. Let us always turn our eyes in the direction of free grace. Assurance of faith can never come by the works of the law. It is an evangelical virtue, and can only reach us in a gospel way. Let us not look within. Let us look to the Lord alone. As we see Jesus we shall see our salvation.

Lord, send us such a flood-tide of thy love that we shall be washed beyond the mire of doubt and fear. Help us to receive Christ in true and true:

“As ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord.” Colossians 2:6

The life of faith is represented as receiving—an act which implies the very opposite of anything like merit. It is simply the acceptance of a gift. As the earth drinks in the rain, as the sea receives the streams, as night accepts light from the stars, so we, giving nothing, partake freely of the grace of God.

The saints are not, by nature, wells, or streams, they are but cisterns into which the living water flows; they are empty vessels into which God pours His salvation. The idea of receiving implies a sense of realization, making the matter a reality. One cannot very well receive a shadow; we receive that which is substantial: so is it in the life of faith, Christ becomes real to us.

While we are without faith, Jesus is a mere name to us—a person who lived a long while ago, so long ago that His life is only a history to us now! By an act of faith Jesus becomes a real person in the consciousness of our heart. But receiving also means grasping or getting possession of. The thing which I receive becomes my own: I appropriate to myself that which is given. When I receive Jesus, He becomes my Saviour, so mine that neither life nor death shall be able to rob me of Him. All this is to receive Christ—to take Him as God’s free gift; to realize Him in my heart, and to appropriate Him as mine.

Salvation may be described as the blind receiving sight, the deaf receiving hearing, the dead receiving life; but we have not only received these blessings, we have received CHRIST JESUS Himself. It is true that He gave us life from the dead. He gave us pardon of sin; He gave us imputed righteousness.

These are all precious things, but we are not content with them; we have received Christ Himself. The Son of God has been poured into us, and we have received Him, and appropriated Him. What a heartful Jesus must be, for heaven itself cannot contain Him!

Beloved, have you received Jesus as your personal Savior? Have you been to Him for the cleanse?, Are you wash in the blood of the Lamb? If you are yet to enter into a relationship with click here to do so now. And if you. then continue to hold on to His Word because it faileth not.

A little exercise for you – check out your knowledge of the Word and apply it situation you are currently undergoing to see how effective your faith can carry you through. Christianity is practical and not theories or fables if you ask me.

So check your faith out in the Word and as you are applying and overcoming beloved than you know that you are standing on the Rock and you are also building on the rock on sea sand.

May God help us in Jesus Name to stand and stand firm. Amen!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Behold, he prayeth.”

We give You glory as we worship You we give honour Lord as we worship You, You are wonderful, You are Worthy O Lord! You are wonderful, You are Worthy O Lord! // We give You glory (glory Lord), We give You honour (honour lord), We give You glory (glory Lord, glory Lord, glory Lord)

Father in heaven O God! Who is like unto Thee O Lord!  Who can be compare with Thee in heaven and on earth. Father! You are Mighty. Thank You Lord for being God indeed unto us, Lord Thank You for delivering us from the snare of the flower, like a bird You made a way of escape for Your beloved and  the pit they dug for us they fall therein. Glory be to Your Holy Name in the Highest.

Beloveth, what a beautiful day before us. Another day to be in God’s presence and pour out our heart before the Throne to receive answers to all that we have ask with thanksgiving.

We serve a God that answereth prayer, that is the confident we have that when we call He will answer us. Knowing that our God answereth us when we call, we are made bold to call on Him. God also encourages us to call on Him and He will answer us.

Is there anything too difficult for God to do, there is no such records anywhere in the world. He is a God of impossibility.  He moves the Mountain and fill the valley. He parted the sea and clogged the wheels of the taskmaster. Beloved, God always orchestrate a way out of every difficult situation. Today, God will walk in every difficult situations and solution is coming your way in Jesus Name. God will go ahead of us and do that which only Him can do for in Jesus Name.

Prayers are noticed immediately in heaven immediately it is embarked here on earth as you will read later read from today’s message. I believe someone is encouraged.

So with this confidence, let us go to God and receive answers as we prayer:

“Behold, he prayeth.” Acts 9:11

Prayers are instantly noticed in heaven. The moment Saul began to pray the Lord heard him. Here is comfort for the distressed but praying soul. Oftentimes a poor broken-hearted one bends his knee, but can only utter his wailing in the language of sighs and tears; yet that groan has made all the harps of heaven thrill with music; that tear has been caught by God and treasured in the lachrymatory of heaven.

“Thou puttest my tears into thy bottle,” implies that they are caught as they flow. The suppliant, whose fears prevent his words, will be well understood by the Most High. He may only look up with misty eye; but “prayer is the falling of a tear.” Tears are the diamonds of heaven; sighs are a part of the music of Jehovah’s court, and are numbered with “the sublimest strains that reach the majesty on high.”

Think not that your prayer, however weak or trembling, will be unregarded. Jacob’s ladder is lofty, but our prayers shall lean upon the Angel of the covenant and so climb its starry rounds. Our God not only hears prayer but also loves to hear it. “He forgetteth not the cry of the humble.”

True, He regards not high looks and lofty words; He cares not for the pomp and pageantry of kings; He listens not to the swell of martial music; He regards not the triumph and pride of man; but wherever there is a heart big with sorrow, or a lip quivering with agony, or a deep groan, or a penitential sigh, the heart of Jehovah is open; He marks it down in the registry of His memory; He puts our prayers, like rose leaves, between the pages of His book of remembrance, and when the volume is opened at last, there shall be a precious fragrance springing up therefrom.

“Faith asks no signal from the skies,

To show that prayers accepted rise,

Our Priest is in His holy place,

And answers from the throne of grace.”

Let’s continue:

“Their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.” 2Chronicles 30:27

Prayer is the never-failing resort of the Christian in any case, in every plight. When you cannot use your sword you may take to the weapon of all-prayer. Your powder may be damp, your bow-string may be relaxed, but the weapon of all-prayer need never be out of order. Leviathan laughs at the javelin, but he trembles at prayer.

Sword and spear need furbishing, but prayer never rusts, and when we think it most blunt it cuts the best. Prayer is an open door which none can shut. Devils may surround you on all sides, but the way upward is always open, and as long as that road is unobstructed, you will not fall into the enemy’s hand. We can never be taken by blockade, escalade, mine, or storm, so long as heavenly succours can come down to us by Jacob’s ladder to relieve us in the time of our necessities.

Prayer is never out of season: in summer and in winter its merchandize is precious. Prayer gains audience with heaven in the dead of night, in the midst of business, in the heat of noonday, in the shades of evening. In every condition, whether of poverty, or sickness, or obscurity, or slander, or doubt, your covenant God will welcome your prayer and answer it from His holy place.

Nor is prayer ever futile. True prayer is evermore true power. You may not always get what you ask, but you shall always have your real wants supplied. When God does not answer His children according to the letter, He does so according to the spirit. If thou askest for coarse meal, wilt thou be angered because He gives thee the finest flour? If thou seekest bodily health, shouldst thou complain if instead thereof He makes thy sickness turn to the healing of spiritual maladies?

Is it not better to have the cross sanctified than removed? This day, my soul, forget not to offer thy petition and request, for the Lord is ready to grant thee thy desires.

Beloved, there is not much to say than to believe that God sees all and knows all. In every situation, He knows what to do. Let us call on Him who can do all things and lay our petitions before Him. He will answer us and will not turn away our petitions before the blood that were shad on the cross of Cavalry.

O Lord come to our aid and answer us. With Your outstretched hand, let each one that call on today receive answers as we call on You today in Jesus Name. Be glorified in Jesus Name we pray.

Beloved, lift up your voice on high and pray! because answers are coming in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Magnitude of Grace

0

Blessed be Thy Name of the Lord You are Worthy to be praise and adore Lord we life our Holy hands in one accord singing blessed be thy Name blessed be thy Name Blessed be thy Name of the Lord.// Worthy You are Worthy, King of kings; Lord of lords You are Worthy. Worthy, You are Worthy, King of kings; Lord of lords I worship You.

Father in heaven o God Who is like unto Thee, Thank You Lord for Your mercies endureth to all generation.  Worthy are You Lord. Thank You for Your Mighty Power and sovereignty over all you have made. Thank you and Thank You forever. I thank you because you are strength and our hope, in you is our deliverance. Blessed be your Name forever.

Beloved, how are you doing? I believe you are doing great. I will start off by the way of questioning, when you are not exercising self-control, what is in operation? I will say anger. is that your own answer too? If not you send in your own answer. When you lose self-control the attitude that will show forth is Anger. self-control is an emotional attitude deplay by an individual like wise anger. anger oftentimes leads to sin when it is miss directed.

Self-control cannot be achieve outside God’s Word, “How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word and following its rules (Ps 119:9). Follow the Lord’s rules for doing his work, just as an athlete either follows the rules or is disqualified and wins no prize (2Tim 2:5).

Self-control involves first knowing God’s guidelines for right living as found in the Bible. You need to know what you must control before you can keep it under control. Regular, consistent reading of God’s Word keeps God’s guidelines for right living clearly before us.

Beloved, are you exercising self-control or you are yet to master it? Today’s topic will help us a great deal. The “Magnitude of grace” Wow! Enter into this grace that only God can bestow on you and you will never remain the same.

His grace will be sufficient for Thee and in His strength you will exchange for your weakness:

“My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2Cor. 12:9

Our weakness should be prized as making room for divine strength. We might never have known the power of grace if we had not felt the weakness of nature. Blessed be the Lord for the thorn in the flesh, and the messenger of Satan, when they drive us to the strength of God.

This is a precious word from our Lord’s own lip. It has made the writer laugh for joy. God’s grace enough for me! I should think it is. Is not the sky enough for the bird, and the ocean enough for the fish? The All-Sufficient is sufficient for my largest want. He who is sufficient for earth and Heaven is certainly able to meet the case of one poor worm like me.

Let us, then, fall back upon our God and His grace. If He does not remove our grief He will enable us to bear it. His strength shall be poured into us till the worm shall thresh the mountains; and a nothing shall be victor over all the high and mighty ones.

It is better for us to have God’s strength than our own; for if we were a thousand times as strong as we are, it would all amount to nothing in the face of the enemy; and if we could be weaker than we are, which is scarcely possible, yet we could do all things through Christ.

“I will pour water upon him that is thirsty.” Isaiah 44:3

When a believer has fallen into a low, sad state of feeling, he often tries to lift himself out of it by chastening himself with dark and doleful fears. Such is not the way to rise from the dust, but to continue in it. As well chain the eagle’s wing to make it mount, as doubt in order to increase our grace.

It is not the law, but the gospel which saves the seeking soul at first; and it is not a legal bondage, but gospel liberty which can restore the fainting believer afterwards. Slavish fear brings not back the backslider to God, but the sweet wooings of love allure him to Jesus’ bosom. Are you this morning thirsting for the living God, and unhappy because you cannot find him to the delight of your heart?

Have you lost the joy of religion, and is this your prayer, “Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation”? Are you conscious also that you are barren, like the dry ground; that you are not bringing forth the fruit unto God which He has a right to expect of you; that you are not so useful in the Church, or in the world, as your heart desires to be? Then here is exactly the promise which you need, “I will pour water upon him that is thirsty.”

You shall receive the grace you so much require, and you shall have it to the utmost reach of your needs. Water refreshes the thirsty: you shall be refreshed; your desires shall be gratified. Water quickens sleeping vegetable life: your life shall be quickened by fresh grace. Water swells the buds and makes the fruits ripen; you shall have fructifying grace: you shall be made fruitful in the ways of God.

Whatever good quality there is in divine grace, you shall enjoy it to the full. All the riches of divine grace you shall receive in plenty; you shall be as it were drenched with it: and as sometimes the meadows become flooded by the bursting rivers, and the fields are turned into pools, so shall you be—the thirsty land shall be springs of water.

I receive this promises in Jesus Name. Beloved, this is wonderful to behold. May God help you to enter into the full revelation of this message and be blest of it in Jesus Name.  May the Holy Spirit help you to gain control over ever desires and things that are not pleasing to God in Jesus Name.

Remain bless in the Lord.
