He Made Him to Be Sin

0

Who is like unto Thee O Lord! Who is like unto Thee O Lord among the gods who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiest, fearful in praises, doing You wonders alleluia! Today O, I will lift up my hands in praise x2 O my God, You  are always here for me, Almighty God You are my only hope no matter what I face when troubles comes my way, I will praise Your Name.

Father, I don’t know how to thank You Lord for Your faithfulness, goodness in my life. You are so awesome Lord. Thank You Father for fighting and winning this battle for us. Is only You Lord that would have would have done it for us. Thank You Lord. I don’t why You love us so. Thank You Father forever and ever.

Beloved, Thank you for being there for us. I sincerely appreciate your patient and your understanding. The enemy struck but one with God is majority. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

He overcame for us so that we can also over come any situation that comes our way. I am so glad that Jesus loves me and you.

God did not spare His son but made him to be sin that knew no sin. You may not understand this if you have not been accused wrongly and punished in the process before the truth was known.

In all of these, Jesus did not defend Himself, He did not utter a word while they were persecuting Him. He held on and beared all the pains so that heaven’s agenda will be fulfilled.

The love of God so manifest itself as He made a sin just for our sake.

Beloved, do not let this great love be in vain but rather, arise and go to your Father and declare to him how you love him also. I know it will gladden His heart, He will open the flood gate of heaven and rain His blessings as showers from heaven.

Go and do as we just said. Read on:

This verse should startle us and cause us to tremble. It is not a verse to be read quickly and passed over. As Christians we are grateful to be forgiven of our sins. We are thankful we have been adopted as God’s children. Yet we will never comprehend the awesome price that Jesus paid to cleanse us of our sin and to give us His righteousness. How abhorrent was it for the sinless Son of God to have every sin of humanity placed upon Him? What love was required for the Father to watch His only Son bear the excruciating pain of our sin upon the cross?

The prophet Isaiah summarized the human condition: “We are all like an unclean thing, / And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags” (Isa. 64:6). Even the high priest, Joshua, in his exalted position among God’s people, was clothed in filthy rags before God (Zech. 3:3). The apostle Paul, who labored arduously to be righteous before God, realized that his most strenuous efforts to please God were no more valuable than rubbish (Phil. 3:4–10). The plight of humanity is that nothing we could ever do could satisfy God’s desire for righteousness. But the miracle of God’s mercy is that God exchanges our “filthy rags” for “rich robes” of righteousness (Zech. 3:4).

In this awesome exchange, God placed the sin of humanity upon His righteous Son. Jesus became so identified with our sin that Scripture says God made Him to be sin on our behalf. The holy Son of God could not possibly do more for us than this! Experiencing the Father’s wrath upon the sin He carried would have been more painful to endure than any human rejection or physical suffering.

Never take the righteousness God has given you for granted. Never take the forgiveness of your sin lightly. It cost God a terrible price in order to forgive you and make you righteous. Walk in a manner worthy of the righteousness He has given you. More below:

“Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.” Lamentations 3:40

The spouse who fondly loves her absent husband longs for his return; a long protracted separation from her lord is a semi-death to her spirit: and so with souls who love the Saviour much, they must see His face, they cannot bear that He should be away upon the mountains of Bether, and no more hold communion with them.

A reproaching glance, an uplifted finger will be grievous to loving children, who fear to offend their tender father, and are only happy in his smile. Beloved, it was so once with you. A text of Scripture, a threatening, a touch of the rod of affliction, and you went to your Father’s feet, crying, “Show me wherefore Thou contendest with me?” Is it so now?

Are you content to follow Jesus afar off? Can you contemplate suspended communion with Christ without alarm? Can you bear to have your Beloved walking contrary to you, because you walk contrary to Him? Have your sins separated between you and your God, and is your heart at rest? O let me affectionately warn you, for it is a grievous thing when we can live contentedly without the present enjoyment of the Saviour’s face.

Let us labour to feel what an evil thing this is—little love to our own dying Saviour, little joy in our precious Jesus, little fellowship with the Beloved! Hold a true Lent in your souls, while you sorrow over your hardness of heart. Do not stop at sorrow! Remember where you first received salvation. Go at once to the cross. There, and there only, can you get your spirit quickened.

No matter how hard, how insensible, how dead we may have become, let us go again in all the rags and poverty, and defilement of our natural condition. Let us clasp that cross, let us look into those languid eyes, let us bathe in that fountain filled with blood—this will bring back to us our first love; this will restore the simplicity of our faith, and the tenderness of our heart.

In the simplicity of our faith let us go to Him, as it was when we first believe. Let us go again rags, and poverty, let us clasp that cross and look unto Jesus the author and finisher of or faith. Believe the Lord and it will done to you according to His riches in glory. All Your sins absorbed, don’t not take it for granted.

May our faith be high enough to bring down the glory and let us receive from the Lord all that He had prepared for us Amen.

Lord, I thank You for helping us thus far by bring back Your Word to Your people. Thank You Lord. Thank You Lord for overcoming for us. Glory be to Your Name alone forever and ever.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“With His stripes we are healed.”

I have joy like a river, joy like a river, joy like a river in my soul x2// Praising the Lord always, praising the Lord always, praising the Lord with all your power, praising the Lord with all your might always. Alleluia, my Lord is good alleluia, my Lord is good, alleluia my Lord is good, is good to me.

Our Father is good to us, He gave us life, He gave us health, He gave us abundance, He gave peace, He gave us protection, He gave us provision, and above all He gave us love.

Beloved, God gave us Himself, what greater love than this? He offered Himself as a sacrifice to atone for our sins, the sins of the whole world. Glory be to God on high.

By His strips I was made whole, is that same with you? The beaten and scourging experienced by Jesus is sufficient to take care of any sickness and situations we may ever come across, I tell You. Have you been opportune to watch the passion of Christ on television, words are failing me to describe the feelings that ran through me at those times.

Is only Jesus that can survive a beating as such, however, the beauty of this is that for every stroke; there is healing. Forty strokes less one is sufficient to see us through any situation we will ever face in our lives.

Pray that this strips will not be in vain in your life rather it must heal, it must delivery and it must set you free from all operations of wicked ones and the kingdom of darkness. This stripes must restore any backslider you can remember and pray for at this time.

Is there any business or career that needs the touch of God? Beloved, today, an answer is coming your way. You are walking out of that room free from all the malady of the devil. Hear it again by His strips we are healed:

With His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

Pilate delivered our Lord to the lictors to be scourged. The Roman scourge was a most dreadful instrument of torture. It was made of the sinews of oxen, and sharp bones were inter-twisted every here and there among the sinews; so that every time the lash came down these pieces of bone inflicted fearful laceration, and tore off the flesh from the bone.

The Saviour was, no doubt, bound to the column, and thus beaten. He had been beaten before; but this of the Roman lictors was probably the most severe of His flagellations. My soul, stand here and weep over His poor stricken body.

Believer in Jesus, can you gaze upon Him without tears, as He stands before you the mirror of agonizing love? He is at once fair as the lily for innocence, and red as the rose with the crimson of His own blood. As we feel the sure and blessed healing which His stripes have wrought in us, does not our heart melt at once with love and grief? If ever we have loved our Lord Jesus, surely we must feel that affection glowing now within our bosoms.

“See how the patient Jesus stands,

Insulted in His lowest case!

Sinners have bound the Almighty’s hands,

And spit in their Creator’s face.

With thorns His temples gor’d and gash’d

Send streams of blood from every part;

His back’s with knotted scourges lash’d.

But sharper scourges tear His heart.”

We would fain go to our chambers and weep; but since our business calls us away, we will first pray our Beloved to print the image of His bleeding self upon the tablets of our hearts all the day, and at nightfall we will return to commune with Him, and sorrow that our sin should have cost Him so dear.

Look at what the love of a mother can do for her slayed children. She kept watch over children; beloved how often do you watch with Christ? Let’s get going:

“And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.” 2Samuel 21:10

If the love of a woman to her slain sons could make her prolong her mournful vigil for so long a period, shall we weary of considering the sufferings of our blessed Lord? She drove away the birds of prey, and shall not we chase from our meditations those worldly and sinful thoughts which defile both our minds and the sacred themes upon which we are occupied?

Away, ye birds of evil wing! Leave ye the sacrifice alone! She bore the heats of summer, the night dews and the rains, unsheltered and alone. Sleep was chased from her weeping eyes: her heart was too full for slumber. Behold how she loved her children! Shall Rizpah thus endure, and shall we start at the first little inconvenience or trial?

Are we such cowards that we cannot bear to suffer with our Lord? She chased away even the wild beasts, with courage unusual in her sex, and will not we be ready to encounter every foe for Jesus’ sake? These her children were slain by other hands than hers, and yet she wept and watched: what ought we to do who have by our sins crucified our Lord? Our obligations are boundless, our love should be fervent and our repentance thorough.

To watch with Jesus should be our business, to protect His honour our occupation, to abide by His cross our solace. Those ghastly corpses might well have affrighted Rizpah, especially by night, but in our Lord, at whose cross-foot we are sitting, there is nothing revolting, but everything attractive. Never was living beauty so enchanting as a dying Saviour.

Jesus, we will watch with Thee yet awhile, and do Thou graciously unveil Thyself to us; then shall we not sit beneath sackcloth, but in a royal pavilion.

Watch and pray beloved, today, our prayers must be answer. By His strips we are made whole. I decree into your live for everything that had hitherto defy solution must by the love of Jesus receive solution today in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Jesus said unto them, If ye seek Me, let these go…

He is alive amen, He is alive, my Jesus is alive forever, He is alive amen.// Who is like unto Thee O God, who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiness fearful in praises, doing wonders alleluia.

Faithful Father, we Thank You always because without You, we can do nothing. Aside You, we are nothing. Thank You for the gift of another day full of Your blessings. Mighty are Your miracles in our lives, families, careers, businesses and ministries. Great are You Lord, greatly to be praise, Father we praise.

Beloved, how are you doing? I want you to begin to thank God Whose love is unlimited and without end. When you consider the love between man and woman, between parents and their children, between siblings or even friends. Oftentimes such love fails the test of time either due to lack of money, sickness, business failure or loss of job, distances etc. but not so with the love of God.

He loved us before we were born, while we are yet sinners, He sent His Son to redeem us from all our unrighteousness that we may enter into His kingdom after here on earth.

Come and see the demonstration of this love even at the point death, what a love I must tell you:

“Jesus said unto them, If ye seek Me, let these go their way.” John 18:8

Mark, my soul, the care which Jesus manifested even in His hour of trial, towards the sheep of His hand! The ruling passion is strong in death. He resigns Himself to the enemy, but He interposes a word of power to set His disciples free. As to Himself, like a sheep before her shearers He is dumb and opened not His mouth, but for His disciples’ sake He speaks with Almighty energy.

Herein is love, constant, self-forgetting, faithful love. But is there not far more here than is to be found upon the surface? Have we not the very soul and spirit of the atonement in these words? The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep, and pleads that they must therefore go free. The Surety is bound, and justice demands that those for whom He stands a substitute should go their way.

In the midst of Egypt’s bondage, that voice rings as a word of power, “Let these go their way.” Out of slavery of sin and Satan the redeemed must come. In every cell of the dungeons of Despair, the sound is echoed, “Let these go their way,” and forth come Despondency and Much-afraid.

Satan hears the well-known voice, and lifts his foot from the neck of the fallen; and Death hears it, and the grave opens her gates to let the dead arise. Their way is one of progress, holiness, triumph, glory, and none shall dare to stay them in it. No lion shall be on their way, neither shall any ravenous beast go up thereon. “The hind of the morning” has drawn the cruel hunters upon himself, and now the most timid roes and hinds of the field may graze at perfect peace among the lilies of his loves.

The thunder-cloud has burst over the Cross of Calvary, and the pilgrims of Zion shall never be smitten by the bolts of vengeance. Come, my heart, rejoice in the immunity which thy Redeemer has secured thee, and bless His name all the day, and every day. Let’s read further:

“When He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38

If we have been partakers with Jesus in His shame, we shall be sharers with Him in the lustre which shall surround Him when He appears again in glory. Art thou, beloved one, with Christ Jesus? Does a vital union knit thee to Him? Then thou art today with Him in His shame; thou hast taken up His cross, and gone with Him without the camp bearing His reproach; thou shalt doubtless be with Him when the cross is exchanged for the crown.

But judge thyself this evening; for if thou art not with Him in the regeneration, neither shalt thou be with Him when He shall come in His glory. If thou start back from the black side of communion, thou shalt not understand its bright, its happy period, when the King shall come, and all His holy angels with Him.

What! are angels with Him? And yet He took not up angels—He took up the seed of Abraham. Are the holy angels with Him? Come, my soul, if thou art indeed His own beloved, thou canst not be far from Him. If His friends and His neighbours are called together to see His glory, what thinkest thou if thou art married to Him? Shalt thou be distant? Though it be a day of judgment, yet thou canst not be far from that heart which, having admitted angels into intimacy, has admitted thee into union.

Has He not said to thee, O my soul, “I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness”? Have not His own lips said it, “I am married unto thee, and My delight is in thee”? If the angels, who are but friends and neighbours, shall be with Him, it is abundantly certain that His own beloved Hephzibah, in whom is all His delight, shall be near to Him, and sit at His right hand.

Here is a morning star of hope for thee, of such exceeding brilliance, that it may well light up the darkest and most desolate experience.

He set us free and we are free indeed from all diseases and attacks from the kingdom of darkness. Beloved, is there any situation you are still afraid of? Is there any sickness you are weary of, Jesus paid it all. Hear this, He also set you free, therefore no power is permitted to terrorize you, if any, remind them that “Jesus paid it all”.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

He Spared Not His Own Son

0

Great is thy faithfulness, great is Thy Faithfulness, morning by morning new mercies I see. All that I need that hand has provided great is Thy Faithfulness Lord unto Thee.

Precious Father, all that I will ever need your hands has provided long before the needs arise. Thank You Father. Thank You for the gift of salvation, You love us so much that You gave Him for us. O Father, You are wonderful indeed!

Beloved, God sent His Son to die that you will not only live a blessed life here on earth but you also live abundant life hereafter.

What a great love this is, that He spared not Son but give it up for you, who among us can do the same? His love indeed passeth all understanding.

Come along as we see this beauty that can only be found Jesus:

He did not even spare His own Son, but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything?—Romans 8:32

If you ever feel that you are so insignificant that God does not care about you or that He does not want to listen to your prayers, you will be encouraged by Romans 8:32. There, you are assured that your heavenly Father loves you unconditionally. There was nothing so precious to Him that He would not give it up in order to provide for your salvation. When the Father gave His precious Son to save you, He proved once for all that His love is boundless.

The apostle Paul concluded that if God would not spare His own Son in order to provide for our salvation, how would He not willingly give anything else at His disposal in order to care for us? He sacrificed so much to give us eternal life that we can rest secure in the knowledge that He also wants to give us abundant life (John 10:10).

In light of what God did for us at the cross, should we not approach the throne of grace with confidence? God’s response to our prayers is not based upon our worthiness but upon His love and grace. Our confidence in prayer comes not from who we are but from who He is. Nothing we could ask of Him could ever compare with the price He paid for us at the cross.

How wonderful to know that God loves us so much! We can live with confidence and anticipation knowing that almighty God is willing not only to give us eternal life, but also to help us experience it fully!

The immutable God kept His Word, Christ is risen according prophesy given even before He was born.  Beloved, what is that promise that You are so afraid that may not come to pass. Indeed His love passeth all understanding. Let’s read on:

“The love of Christ which passeth knowledge.” Ephesians 3:19

The love of Christ in its sweetness, its fulness, its greatness, its faithfulness, passeth all human comprehension. Where shall language be found which shall describe His matchless, His unparalleled love towards the children of men? It is so vast and boundless that, as the swallow but skimmeth the water, and diveth not into its depths, so all descriptive words but touch the surface, while depths immeasurable lie beneath. Well might the poet say,

“O love, thou fathomless abyss!”

for this love of Christ is indeed measureless and fathomless; none can attain unto it. Before we can have any right idea of the love of Jesus, we must understand His previous glory in its height of majesty, and His incarnation upon the earth in all its depths of shame. But who can tell us the majesty of Christ? When He was enthroned in the highest heavens

He was very God of very God; by Him were the heavens made, and all the hosts thereof. His own almighty arm upheld the spheres; the praises of cherubim and seraphim perpetually surrounded Him; the full chorus of the hallelujahs of the universe unceasingly flowed to the foot of his throne: He reigned supreme above all His creatures, God over all, blessed for ever. Who can tell His height of glory then? And who, on the other hand, can tell how low He descended?

To be a man was something, to be a man of sorrows was far more; to bleed, and die, and suffer, these were much for Him who was the Son of God; but to suffer such unparalleled agony—to endure a death of shame and desertion by His Father, this is a depth of condescending love which the most inspired mind must utterly fail to fathom.

Herein is love! and truly it is love that “passeth knowledge.” O let this love fill our hearts with adoring gratitude, and lead us to practical manifestations of its power.

Are you ready to share in this love that was demonstrated so many centuries ago? It is fresh as ever before and the Holy Spirit is willing to share it in your soul right away as you read through.

Beloveth, do not take this month for granted. Let this love that is found in Christ be found in also in Jesus Name. Begin to dominate your world with the love of God. Praise God.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Our month of Dominion through the love of Christ Jesus”.

0

I will sing unto the Lord a joyful song, I will praise His Name for the Lord is good x2.// I will lift up Jesus higher, I will lift up Jesus higher, O Jehovah, Alpha, Omega, I will lift up Jesus higher!

Father, we Thank You, we bless Your Holy Name, we worship You we give You praise, we adore You, we honour forever and ever.

We Thank You Lord for the gift of a new month. You were Awesome all through the month of March and we are not believing for lest in this new month. We know and we are confident that You will show forth Your power in our midst in Jesus Name.

Beloved, are you happy? We are in second quarter of the year, Faithful is our God to do that which no one will ever do for us. We are glad to welcome you to this wonderful month of the Lord “Our month of Dominion through the love of Christ Jesus”.

Ever experienced the love of God before now? Beloved, thank God for it is of Jehovah’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not- Lam 3:22 (ASV).

What else can we say? The love of God shield us from the eternal destruction that are await us but for His love. He give us His only begotten Son to die so that we might live.

Lord, we return to give You thanks, we no longer fear death knowing that it is a transition from this present world to our eternal home- heaven. Praise be the Living Jesus, Who stayed focus and deliver that which was expected of Him. Praise the Name of the Lord, Who died and was risen to live forever and ever.

My beloveth, come with me as we see the faithfulness of our Jesus whose love reconciled us to His Father:

“My beloved.” Song 2:8

This was a golden name which the ancient Church in her most joyous moments was wont to give to the Anointed of the Lord. When the time of the singing of birds was come, and the voice of the turtle was heard in her land, her love-note was sweeter than either, as she sang, “My beloved is mine and I am His: He feedeth among the lilies.”

Ever in her song of songs doth she call Him by that delightful name, “My beloved!” Even in the long winter, when idolatry had withered the garden of the Lord, her prophets found space to lay aside the burden of the Lord for a little season, and to say, as Esaias did, “Now will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching His vineyard.” Though the saints had never seen His face, though as yet He was not made flesh, nor had dwelt among us, nor had man beheld His glory, yet He was the consolation of Israel, the hope and joy of all the chosen, the “beloved” of all those who were upright before the Most High.

We, in the summer days of the Church, are also wont to speak of Christ as the best beloved of our soul, and to feel that He is very precious, the “chiefest among ten thousand, and the altogether lovely.” So true is it that the Church loves Jesus, and claims Him as her beloved, that the apostle dares to defy the whole universe to separate her from the love of Christ, and declares that neither persecutions, distress, affliction, peril, or the sword have been able to do it; nay, he joyously boasts, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”

O that we knew more of Thee, Thou ever precious one!

My sole possession is Thy love;

In earth beneath, or heaven above,

I have no other store;

And though with fervent suit I pray,

And importune Thee day by day,

I ask Thee nothing more.

This love is immeasurable dear beloveth, and we cannot but count ourselves blessed to be found in such a great love as such that Calvary stood for. Read more:

“And she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.” Ruth 2:14

Whenever we are privileged to eat of the bread which Jesus gives, we are, like Ruth, satisfied with the full and sweet repast. When Jesus is the host no guest goes empty from the table. Our head is satisfied with the precious truth which Christ reveals; our heart is content with Jesus, as the altogether lovely object of affection; our hope is satisfied, for whom have we in heaven but Jesus? and our desire is satiated, for what can we wish for more than “to know Christ and to be found in Him”?

Jesus fills our conscience till it is at perfect peace; our judgment with persuasion of the certainty of His teachings; our memory with recollections of what He has done, and our imagination with the prospects of what He is yet to do. As Ruth was “sufficed, and left,” so is it with us. We have had deep draughts; we have thought that we could take in all of Christ; but when we have done our best we have had to leave a vast remainder.

We have sat at the table of the Lord’s love, and said, “Nothing but the infinite can ever satisfy me; I am such a great sinner that I must have infinite merit to wash my sin away;” but we have had our sin removed, and found that there was merit to spare; we have had our hunger relieved at the feast of sacred love, and found that there was a redundance of spiritual meat remaining.

There are certain sweet things in the Word of God which we have not enjoyed yet, and which we are obliged to leave for awhile; for we are like the disciples to whom Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” Yes, there are graces to which we have not attained; places of fellowship nearer to Christ which we have not reached; and heights of communion which our feet have not climbed.

At every banquet of love there are many baskets of fragments left. Let us magnify the liberality of our glorious Boaz.

The love of God is incomparable; for God is love. He will not run out it; for that is who He is. He will not be tried of loving us; for that His very nature. Are you ready to dominate your world through the love of Christ?

When Peter failed Christ, He did not sent away but rather He restored him back and asked him to “feed my lamb” Jn 22: 15-17.

Today, God through our Lord Jesus Christ is looking out for that man; that woman that will feed His lamb. Will that be you?

Once again, you are welcome into your “month of dominion through the love of Christ Jesus”

See you next week God’s willing, have a blessed weekend.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

…The Disciples Forsook Him and Fled

0

March 31

Jesus is a Mighty God; He is Mighty God. All power bow before Him, He is a Mighty God, every power bow before Him He is a Mighty God.

Glory, Honour, Power and Majesty belong to Christ our God.  I have joy in my heart, the joy of salvation, My Savior has given me the joy of salvation, joy, joy, every day, Joy, joy, joy everyday, the joy of salvation, joy everyday.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the joy of salvation that is flowing my soul today. Thank You Lord for sending our Lord Jesus to cross that our joy may be complete. Thank You Lord. Thank You for fulfilling Your promise to us as a ministry, our joy indeed is overflowing and we cannot thank You enough. Praise be to Jesus in the highest.

Beloveth, today is the day the Lord has made and we shall rejoice and be glad in it. Yes we should rejoice and be glad in indeed. The Lord assured us at the beginning of the month that we will dominate with joy. I am a living witness and am sure you have so much to talk about. The death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus cause unlimited joy to overflow in our life and situation.

The month is rounding up today to the glory of God, and we all have testimonies which the hand of the Lord has wrought for us. We cannot thank Him enough for His Faithfulness and mercies all through the month. The Lord orchestrated a path for me that up till now I don’t know how to thank Him enough. He saved my son from a dangerous fall and so many other things time might not permit me to pen down here, above all, He crowned it with the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let all glory, honour, adoration belongs to Him Alone in Jesus Name.

Jesus is Lord. He is the King of kings, He is the Lord of lords from the ages past, come and behold the Faithfulness of the Lord:

“Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.” Matthew 26:56

He never deserted them, but they in cowardly fear of their lives, fled from Him in the very beginning of His sufferings. This is but one instructive instance of the frailty of all believers if left to themselves; they are but sheep at the best, and they flee when the wolf cometh. They had all been warned of the danger, and had promised to die rather than leave their Master; and yet they were seized with sudden panic, and took to their heels.

It may be, that I, at the opening of this day, have braced up my mind to bear a trial for the Lord’s sake, and I imagine myself to be certain to exhibit perfect fidelity; but let me be very jealous of myself, lest having the same evil heart of unbelief, I should depart from my Lord as the apostles did. It is one thing to promise, and quite another to perform. It would have been to their eternal honour to have stood at Jesus’ side right manfully; they fled from honour; may I be kept from imitating them!

Where else could they have been so safe as near their Master, who could presently call for twelve legions of angels? They fled from their true safety. O God, let me not play the fool also. Divine grace can make the coward brave. The smoking flax can flame forth like fire on the altar when the Lord wills it. These very apostles who were timid as hares, grew to be bold as lions after the Spirit had descended upon them, and even so the Holy Spirit can make my recreant spirit brave to confess my Lord and witness for His truth.

What anguish must have filled the Saviour as He saw His friends so faithless! This was one bitter ingredient in His cup; but that cup is drained dry; let me not put another drop in it. If I forsake my Lord, I shall crucify Him afresh, and put Him to an open shame. Keep me, O blessed Spirit, from an end so shameful.

This is a prayer every child of God must pray daily having seen what befall the apostle we must not assume that we can make it of our own accord but trust the Holy Spirit to help us till the end. Come and see the joy that swell up in the heart of our savior in the hour of His death. He rejoiced in the Spirit. More from below:

“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit.” Luke 10:21

The Saviour was “a man of sorrows,” but every thoughtful mind has discovered the fact that down deep in His innermost soul He carried an inexhaustible treasury of refined and heavenly joy. Of all the human race, there was never a man who had a deeper, purer, or more abiding peace than our Lord Jesus Christ. “He was anointed with the oil of gladness above His fellows.” His vast benevolence must, from the very nature of things, have afforded Him the deepest possible delight, for benevolence is joy.

There were a few remarkable seasons when this joy manifested itself. “At that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth.” Christ had His songs, though it was night with Him; though His face was marred, and His countenance had lost the lustre of earthly happiness, yet sometimes it was lit up with a matchless splendour of unparalleled satisfaction, as He thought upon the recompense of the reward, and in the midst of the congregation sang His praise unto God.

In this, the Lord Jesus is a blessed picture of His church on earth. At this hour the church expects to walk in sympathy with her Lord along a thorny road; through much tribulation she is forcing her way to the crown. To bear the cross is her office, and to be scorned and counted an alien by her mother’s children is her lot; and yet the church has a deep well of joy, of which none can drink but her own children.

There are stores of wine, and oil, and corn, hidden in the midst of our Jerusalem, upon which the saints of God are evermore sustained and nurtured; and sometimes, as in our Saviour’s case, we have our seasons of intense delight, for “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of our God.” Exiles though we be, we rejoice in our King; yea, in Him we exceedingly rejoice, while in His name we set up our banners.

Beloved, did you see that, the Lord Jesus rejoiced as He dies for you that you may live eternal with Your Father. How do you accept trials that comes your way in the Name of the Lord? How do you accept suffering in the Name of the Lord? Finally beloved, the cross you are meant to bear with Christ, how patiently do you carry on it?

Lord, help us not to deny You but patiently bear Your cross with You as Joseph did, that our joy may be complete and we will dominate all that hitherto had dominated us in Jesus Name.

May God grant us grace to see the New Month in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Indeed calls for self- examination

Prayer is the key, prayer is the key, prayer is the master key, Jesus started with prayer and ended with prayer, prayer is the master key.// Take glory Father, take glory Son, take glory Holy Ghost now forever more.// Father we are confident to stand the place where You are, to stand in the place where You are.

Father, we thank You for Who Are, Thank You Lord for the Risen Christ. We are indeed confident to stand in the place where You are, because You word is yea and amen. We thank You for the plan of salvation of which led Christ to the cross. As You promised to us so it is, for Jesus was not afraid to go to the cross, rather He was so confident in You that according to Your Word, He will rise up from death on the third day. Thank You Lord for being God indeed unto us and we pray today that You bring us to this place of perfection in Jesus Name.

Beloved, today is the last praying day for the month and am sure you are ready to pray until you breakthrough. Our God answers pray, yours is to pray until you receive answers to all your prayers. Don’t be tried, keep on pressing forward until you see God manifest His power and glory in your live and situations.

The topic before us today is indeed calls for self- examination. Where are you in fellowship with Christ? Come as we read through, am sure you will be able to give an answer after going through the message below:

“Ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone.” John 16:32

Few had fellowship with the sorrows of Gethsemane. The majority of the disciples were not sufficiently advanced in grace to be admitted to behold the mysteries of “the agony.” Occupied with the passover feast at their own houses, they represent the many who live upon the letter, but are mere babes as to the spirit of the gospel.

To twelve, nay, to eleven only was the privilege given to enter Gethsemane and see “this great sight.” Out of the eleven, eight were left at a distance; they had fellowship, but not of that intimate sort to which men greatly beloved are admitted. Only three highly favoured ones could approach the veil of our Lord’s mysterious sorrow: within that veil even these must not intrude; a stone’s-cast distance must be left between. He must tread the wine-press alone, and of the people there must be none with Him.

Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, represent the few eminent, experienced saints, who may be written down as “Fathers;” these having done business on great waters, can in some degree measure the huge Atlantic waves of their Redeemer’s passion. To some selected spirits it is given, for the good of others, and to strengthen them for future, special, and tremendous conflict, to enter the inner circle and hear the pleadings of the suffering High Priest; they have fellowship with Him in his sufferings, and are made conformable unto His death.

Yet even these cannot penetrate the secret places of the Saviour’s woe. “Thine unknown sufferings” is the remarkable expression of the Greek liturgy: there was an inner chamber in our Master’s grief, shut out from human knowledge and fellowship. There Jesus is “left alone.” Here Jesus was more than ever an “Unspeakable gift!” Is not Watts right when he sings—

“And all the unknown joys he gives,

Were bought with agonies unknown.”

Beloved, can you honestly give an answer as to where you are in Christ? Are still among the babes in Christ or among the twelve or are you among the three highly favoured who approach the veil of the Lord’s mysterious, beloved, where are you in union with Christ?  Please read on:

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31

If inclined to boast of our abilities, the grandeur of nature may soon show us how puny we are. We cannot move the least of all the twinkling stars, or quench so much as one of the beams of the morning. We speak of power, but the heavens laugh us to scorn. When the Pleiades shine forth in spring with vernal joy we cannot restrain their influences, and when Orion reigns aloft, and the year is bound in winter’s fetters, we cannot relax the icy bands. The seasons revolve according to the divine appointment, neither can the whole race of men effect a change therein. Lord, what is man?

In the spiritual, as in the natural world, man’s power is limited on all hands. When the Holy Spirit sheds abroad His delights in the soul, none can disturb; all the cunning and malice of men are ineffectual to stay the genial quickening power of the Comforter. When He deigns to visit a church and revive it, the most inveterate enemies cannot resist the good work; they may ridicule it, but they can no more restrain it than they can push back the spring when the Pleiades rule the hour. God wills it, and so it must be.

On the other hand, if the Lord in sovereignty, or in justice, bind up a man so that he is in soul bondage, who can give him liberty? He alone can remove the winter of spiritual death from an individual or a people. He looses the bands of Orion, and none but He. What a blessing it is that He can do it. O that He would perform the wonder to-night. Lord, end my winter, and let my spring begin.

I cannot with all my longings raise my soul out of her death and dulness, but all things are possible with Thee. I need celestial influences, the clear shinings of Thy love, the beams of Thy grace, the light of Thy countenance, these are the Pleiades to me. I suffer much from sin and temptation, these are my wintry signs, my terrible Orion. Lord, work wonders in me, and for me. Amen.

Lord, send Thy power; send Thy Might, come and help Your children who confidently look up to You. Help us to be in close fellowship more than ever before. Arrest our accusers and put them shame. Lord show forth Your power and Thy Might. Amen!!!

Beloved, the Lord will answer us even as we call upon Him in Jesus Name. The power that quickened Christ from the dead must answer and quickens all dead situation in our lives in Jesus Name that your joy will be full.

We must see Jesus in His glory. Look steady upon Him and weaver not.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Death Brings Much Fruit

March 29

Worthy worthy is the lamb, Worthy worthy is the lamb, worthy worthy is the lamb that was slain, Praise Him alleluia, Praise Him alleluia, Praise Him alleluia, Praise the Lord.

Heavenly Father, hallow be Thy Name, let Thy kingdom come and Your will be done on earth. Send Your power, send Your might and destroy everything in us that do not give You glory. Thank You Jesus.

Beloved, are dead in Christ Jesus? The death of Christ guaranteed our new beginning. Are you willing to go same way? Are you willing to die so that you bring forth much fruit?

There so many things in our lives that we need to put to death so that a new life in Christ will take root in us and make us bring forth fruit that will abide.

What are those things we must die to? Come as we go through the message below and examine our lives also:

Death Brings Much Fruit

“I assure you: Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces a large crop.”—John 12:24

Some things must die in order to be productive. Certain seeds will not germinate into a plant unless they freeze during the winter. Jesus knew that His death would bring salvation to the world.

The moment you became a Christian, your sinful nature died (Rom. 6:6), but there remained sinful aspects of your character that had not gone to their graves willingly. Before you became a Christian were you self-centered? You may discover selfishness lingering in your life when you ought to be freely sharing what you have in the name of Christ (Matt. 10:8). Did you have a volatile temper? Now as a believer, you experience moments when anger wells up within you. Were you driven by ambition? You may still find yourself with the same motivation as you strive for recognition and position in the kingdom of God.

If these sinful attitudes are allowed to remain alive, they will stifle the fruits of the Spirit. Your temper may prevent some from coming to Jesus. Your selfishness will hinder you from being a blessing to those around you. Your ambition could cause you to use others to meet your goals. Your family may be suffering because of some areas of your life that you have never allowed Jesus to put to death. It is futile to say, “But that’s just the way I am!” That is the way you were.

But that person died with Christ; you are a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). Allow God to complete His work in you and see what fruit your life produces.

Beloved, Jesus undergo same that is why you same is being recommended to us. let read on:

Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered.” Hebrews 5:8

We are told that the Captain of our salvation was made perfect through suffering, therefore we who are sinful, and who are far from being perfect, must not wonder if we are called to pass through suffering too. Shall the head be crowned with thorns, and shall the other members of the body be rocked upon the dainty lap of ease? Must Christ pass through seas of His own blood to win the crown, and are we to walk to heaven dryshod in silver slippers?

No, our Master’s experience teaches us that suffering is necessary, and the true-born child of God must not, would not, escape it if he might. But there is one very comforting thought in the fact of Christ’s “being made perfect through suffering”—it is, that He can have complete sympathy with us. “He is not an high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.” In this sympathy of Christ we find a sustaining power. One of the early martyrs said, “I can bear it all, for Jesus suffered, and He suffers in me now; He sympathizes with me, and this makes me strong.”

Believer, lay hold of this thought in all times of agony. Let the thought of Jesus strengthen you as you follow in His steps. Find a sweet support in His sympathy; and remember that, to suffer is an honourable thing—to suffer for Christ is glory. The apostles rejoiced that they were counted worthy to do this. Just so far as the Lord shall give us grace to suffer for Christ, to suffer with Christ, just so far does He honour us.

The jewels of a Christian are his afflictions. The regalia of the kings whom God hath anointed are their troubles, their sorrows, and their griefs. Let us not, therefore, shun being honoured. Let us not turn aside from being exalted. Griefs exalt us, and troubles lift us up. “If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him.”

Is someone excited? If death will make us dead to all the vises in our lives, I think we ought to be happy. Jesus learnt so much through what He suffered and His sitting at the right hand of God guaranteed, why do you want stay away from the training that heaven is offering you to guarantee your eternal rest.

Beloved, are you willing to die to vices and alive in virtues in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Risen Lord

March 28

He is alive forever He is alive my Jesus is alive forever is alive amen x2. // Serving the Living God, yes am serving the Living God Amen!

Faithful Father, we Thank You for the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You for the grave did not held Him bound but the quickening power that raised Christ from death. Christ is risen; the tomb is empty. Praise the Lord!!!

Beloved, are you celebrating the Risen Lord? Are you rejoicing that your Saviour is alive? Praise be the Name of the Lord who overcome the power of death and its pangs and grant us victory and freedom.

Am glad that Jesus is risen, am so glad that my liberty is found in Him. Are you rejoicing with me dearly beloved? What else can guarantee our freedom except that we know that Jesus is the Risen Lord. Praise the Lord forever and ever!!!

The Risen Lord

His head and hair were white like wool—white as snow, His eyes like a fiery flame,

His feet like fine bronze fired in a furnace, and His voice like the sound of cascading waters.—Revelation 1:14–15

At times it is tempting to conclude: “If only I could have walked with Jesus, as the twelve disciples did, it would be so much easier to live the Christian life!” This thought reveals that we do not comprehend the greatness of the risen Christ we serve today. The Jesus of the Gospels is often portrayed as One who walked along the seashore, loving children and gently forgiving sinners.

Yet the image of Jesus that we see at the close of the New Testament is far more dramatic! He stands in awesome power as He rules all creation. His appearance is so magnificent that when John, His beloved disciple, sees Him, he falls to the ground as though he were dead (Rev. 1:17).

We grossly underestimate the God we serve! To ignore God’s word or to disobey a direct command from Him is to ignore the magnificent nature of Christ. Our fear of other people proves that we do not understand the awesome Lord who walks with us. The Christ we serve today is the Lord of all creation. He is vastly more awesome and powerful than the gentle rabbi we often imagine.

If you struggle with your obedience to Christ, take a closer look at how He is portrayed in the Book of Revelation. If you are succumbing to temptation, call upon the powerful One who dwells in you. If you have forgotten how great and mighty the Lord is, meet Him through the vision of the beloved disciple. The encounter will dramatically affect the way you live!

We professed the Risen Christ, who the power of the grave could not hold back but He is risen. He overcame death, sickness is destroyed, sorrows was overcome by our risen Lord and our sins were wipe away having being numbered among the sinners. Join me as we discover this great substitution:

He was numbered with the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:12

Why did Jesus suffer Himself to be enrolled amongst sinners? This wonderful condescension was justified by many powerful reasons. In such a character He could the better become their advocate. In some trials there is an identification of the counsellor with the client, nor can they be looked upon in the eye of the law as apart from one another.

Now, when the sinner is brought to the bar, Jesus appears there Himself. He stands to answer the accusation. He points to His side, His hands, His feet, and challenges Justice to bring anything against the sinners whom He represents; He pleads His blood, and pleads so triumphantly, being numbered with them and having a part with them, that the Judge proclaims, “Let them go their way; deliver them from going down into the pit, for He hath found a ransom.” Our Lord Jesus was numbered with the transgressors in order that they might feel their hearts drawn towards Him.

Who can be afraid of one who is written in the same list with us? Surely we may come boldly to Him, and confess our guilt. He who is numbered with us cannot condemn us. Was He not put down in the transgressor’s list that we might be written in the red roll of the saints? He was holy, and written among the holy; we were guilty, and numbered among the guilty; He transfers His name from yonder list to this black indictment, and our names are taken from the indictment and written in the roll of acceptance, for there is a complete transfer made between Jesus and His people.

All our estate of misery and sin Jesus has taken; and all that Jesus has comes to us. His righteousness, His blood, and everything that He hath He gives us as our dowry. Rejoice, believer, in your union to Him who was numbered among the transgressors; and prove that you are truly saved by being manifestly numbered with those who are new creatures in Him.

The death of our Lord Jesus did not only delivered us from the works of iniquities but it also made us a new creature. Isn’t that wonderful? His death brought salvation to us and reconcile us back to our Father whose desire is to have continual fellowship with His children! Glory be to God in the highest.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“If They Do These Things in a Green Tree,… Done in a Dry?

0

What a wonderful God, what a marvelous God, He has done marvelous things for me, what a wonderful God, what a marvelous God, He use to do marvelous things in my life. Things that are impossible, the things that money that cannot buy they are things that He has done for me, what my mum cannot do; what my papa cannot do, He has done it again and again. That is why Omnipotent God, Omniscience’s God, Reliable God, Dependable God, Unchangeable God, Omnipotent God is Your Name, what my mama cannot do; what papa cannot do, He has done it again and again… We are going higher x2 we going higher higher higher everyday exceeding grace.

My Father, my Father, Your children are calling on Your Name, Your Name so sweet as ever, Your Name is forever Potent, Your Name ever standing sure, Your Name is so Great and Dependable. Great are You Lord, Greatly to be praise, Father You reign! Thank You Father for today – “the good Friday.”

Today, dearly beloved, a great transaction took place at Calvary, call the Golgotha in Aramanic language which is also known as the Skull – the place where Jesus was crucified. The journey so far for Jesus team- they came into Jerusalem through a procession that is” the triumphant entry of our Jesus.” Is very possible that the disciples were looking forward to the eventual crowning of Christ as the King of Jews or the Whole world and will be celebrated, giving and issuing orders.

But wait a while, the Passover feast came and Jesus foretold His disciples that one of them was going to betray Him, after the last super where He instituted a miracle meal for both salvation and healing or any other need you may be standing in for, they went down to Gethsemane where we saw Jesus praying and interceding for the journey ahead while the beloved disciples could not see the need of the moment. The betrayal eventual took place here and they went to Gabbatha where Pilate delivered his judgment and handed Jesus over to be crucified. Worthy to note here is the denial of Christ by His followers and His disciples, they forsook and went into hiding therefore fulfilling the scripture (Jn 16:32).

Looks as if their hopes was dashed and they ran for safety. They followed Jesus in disguise to Calvary, where Jesus handed His mother to one of His beloved disciple- John and His eventual death on the cross.

Beloved, this is the typical of our journey in life, we have such a high expectation from God but at a blink of eye everything came clashing and to top it up, you are deserted by your beloved ones, alone in the world with God alone as your helper. But never to lose hope because His death contains restoration power to answer to every need.

Beloveth, if Christ died so many years ago to save you from eternal destruction. Now if after all these was done and you are still living in sin, you are to be pitied. If after Jesus went to the cross and resurrected again to give you victory over sufferings and death and you are still play around with sin then you are a wretched fellow.

Now is the time to live right and forsake your sinful ways. Turn to Christ and be save. Do it now; tomorrow may be too late for you. Come along with me to see more of how we yet betray Christ with a kiss:

“If they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?” Luke 23:31

Among other interpretations of this suggestive question, the following is full of teaching: “If the innocent substitute for sinners, suffer thus, what will be done when the sinner himself—the dry tree—shall fall into the hands of an angry God?”

When God saw Jesus in the sinner’s place, He did not spare Him; and when He finds the unregenerate without Christ, He will not spare them. O sinner, Jesus was led away by His enemies: so shall you be dragged away by fiends to the place appointed for you.

Jesus was deserted of God; and if He, who was only imputedly a sinner, was deserted, how much more shall you be? “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” what an awful shriek! But what shall be your cry when you shall say, “O God! O God! why hast Thou forsaken me?” and the answer shall come back, “Because ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh.”

If God spared not His own Son, how much less will He spare you! What whips of burning wire will be yours when conscience shall smite you with all its terrors. Ye richest, ye merriest, ye most self-righteous sinners—who would stand in your place when God shall say, “Awake, O sword, against the man that rejected Me; smite him, and let him feel the smart for ever”?

Jesus was spit upon: sinner, what shame will be yours! We cannot sum up in one word all the mass of sorrows which met upon the head of Jesus who died for us, therefore it is impossible for us to tell you what streams, what oceans of grief must roll over your spirit if you die as you now are. You may die so, you may die now.

By the agonies of Christ, by His wounds and by His blood, do not bring upon yourselves the wrath to come! Trust in the Son of God, and you shall never die.

Because He die; you shall live; and you will fear no evil. For Jesus is with you all the way:

I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me.” Psalm 23:4

Behold, how independent of outward circumstances the Holy Ghost can make the Christian! What a bright light may shine within us when it is all dark without! How firm, how happy, how calm, how peaceful we may be, when the world shakes to and fro, and the pillars of the earth are removed!

Even death itself, with all its terrible influences, has no power to suspend the music of a Christian’s heart, but rather makes that music become more sweet, more clear, more heavenly, till the last kind act which death can do is to let the earthly strain melt into the heavenly chorus, the temporal joy into the eternal bliss! Let us have confidence, then, in the blessed Spirit’s power to comfort us.

Dear reader, are you looking forward to poverty? Fear not; the divine Spirit can give you, in your want, a greater plenty than the rich have in their abundance. You know not what joys may be stored up for you in the cottage around which grace will plant the roses of content. Are you conscious of a growing failure of your bodily powers? Do you expect to suffer long nights of languishing and days of pain? O be not sad! That bed may become a throne to you. You little know how every pang that shoots through your body may be a refining fire to consume your dross—a beam of glory to light up the secret parts of your soul.

Are the eyes growing dim? Jesus will be your light. Do the ears fail you? Jesus’ name will be your soul’s best music, and His person your dear delight. Socrates used to say, “Philosophers can be happy without music;” and Christians can be happier than philosophers when all outward causes of rejoicing are withdrawn.

In Thee, my God, my heart shall triumph, come what may of ills without! By thy power, O blessed Spirit, my heart shall be exceeding glad, though all things should fail me here below.

Beloved, am glad to say Thank God for Calvary. The works of Calvary will not be in vain in my life, what about you? Are you confessing same with me?

May the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ bring the promised joy for the season. You are walking out those depleting situation into victory. As the stone was rolled away from the mouth of the grave and an angel sat on it so shall the stone blocking your breakthrough be rolled away and an angel will sit on it forever. Don’t forget the angels are ministering to our needs, Forever I decree that an angel will sit on the stone holding your breakthrough from coming forth in Jesus Name.

From us @ OVERCOMERS-FAITH.ORG we wish You a Happy Easter Celebration.

See next week by God’s grace and mercy.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
