Unquestionable You are the Lord. Thank You for sovereignty over all You have created. Thank You for being God indeed unto us. Thank You for a beautiful day you have made and we are to rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You for ever more. Father, Who is like unto Thee, there is none to be compare with You.

Be glorified in the heaven, be glorified here on earth. Jesus, be Thou glorified. Lord, we hand over to you every of our activity today, bless them and teach us how to be profitable in Your kingdom, family, career and business, Amen.

Talking about being profitable, the Lord said I teacheth you to profit (Isa 48:17). The Lord’s blessing maketh rich and add no sorrow to it (Prov 10:22). It therefore means that for us to be indeed profiting in all we do, we must have the backing of the Lord (Jer 12:13; Isa 57:12).

Here wisdom comes to play. If any lack wisdom, let him ask from the Lord and it will be given him (Jas 1:5). We needs God’s kind of wisdom to be profiting in all we do. We have the Godly wisdom; Worldly wisdom, Secular wisdom- this we acquire from schooling, work places and every other endeavor we might be engaged in. The wisdom from the world are all evil inspired. The devil uses it to turn people away from the Lord and we must beware. It is uses mostly to lure people into lustful desires. Some advertisement within a godly programs even when church services is on the air. Some call it interlude. This company is willing to pay any amount because they know they motive (Ps 74:4; 6-8).

They know that most Christians will hook on air or cable to watch. (just a flash of a half dressed woman, alcoholic and smoking advert and so many like that, even in the internet you see such advert) but the message has been sent across. Surprised that they are progressing? Sure they will because their father, the devil is a schemer that is why we all are admonished to be wise (Matt 10:6).

Today, we will be continuing with the “Memorials of the Faithful”. We are still focusing on our heroes and heroine of faith of the bible days because they choose to live right despite the evil in the land in their days. They not only lived right, they also make their family to live a righteous living. One of such men recorded in the bible that we will be considering today is Noah.

The bible have it that he walked with God and found favour in His sight to be used of him to accomplished His plan. Noah walked with God in spite of the prevailing evil in his time (Gen 6:13).

This ought to encourage someone who is asking, is God seeing me here. Is God noticing my good deeds? As he singled out Noah and blessed Him and his household, so shall the Lord blessed you and all that pertaining unto you in Jesus Name.

Come along with me and you will be richly bless:

Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the Lord. These are the family records of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among his contemporaries; Noah walked with God.—Genesis 6:8–9

No matter how ungodly the environment you may be in, God will always find you and walk with you. Noah lived in perhaps the most wicked age in history. No one worshiped God. All the people worshiped idols and pursued their own sinful pleasures. Noah’s neighbors were evil; every person he associated with in the marketplace, or along the street, or in public gatherings, ridiculed the very thought of being faithful to God. Every temptation imaginable was abundantly available to Noah. How oppressive such an environment would have been to a righteous person!

The people of Noah’s day were so wicked that God planned the most complete and drastic act of judgment recorded in Scripture. Nevertheless, Noah was not lost to God in the crowd of sinners. God noticed every act of Noah’s righteousness. Noah had chosen to live uprightly before God despite what everyone around him was doing, and God had observed him. There may have been times when Noah wondered if it mattered if he lived a righteous life, since no one else was. Yet he continued, and his persistence in righteousness saved his life and the lives of his family members.

Are you constantly surrounded by evil? Do you struggle at times to live a righteous life when those you associate with each day have no concern for God? Find assurance in the life of Noah. God watches you, even as He observed Noah. God will seek you out of the crowd every time, and He wants to bless you and your family just as He blessed Noah.

Does this blessed someone? Am not only blessed but greatly encouraged and am sure someone is crying out with joy because of the peace being experience now. Praise the Lord.

Beloved is very possible to live righteously even in a godless environment. How? Is a choice. The choice is yours and if you chose righteous living all you need do is to engage the Holy Spirit to lead you where and how to live righteously. But note you may not be shed forever. The Spirit of God will help and shed you until Christ is form in you and you will be expose to live out what you have learnt (Gal 4 :19).

That is when we are expose to different kinds of things; different manner of persons even in the house of God. I read this in a book that a particular church hung this in their exit door and it read “Now the worship is over – Services begins” . Yes, the church is over, then you have go into the market place, your neighborhood to live out what you have been taught or learnt. Surprise? Yes! The testing ground of our faith and believe is outside the four walls of the church. Why? Because pretense have taken over even in the house of God.

Let’s read more on how to pull through of a challenging environment when you are confronted with one:

Is It Possible To Live A Righteous Life In A Godless Environment?

The answer of course is “YES!” Daniel of the Old Testament is probably our best example of someone who did it with class.

You may remember that as a Jewish lad, Daniel, along with his three compatriots, was taken captive into wicked Babylonia. Throughout his life, he demonstrated God’s faithfulness by choosing to live righteously amidst life-threatening pressures to conform otherwise.

HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE: Daniel lived in Babylonia, but Babylonia did not live in Daniel.

FOUR OBSERVATIONS ON HOW DANIEL DID IT:

  1. DETERMINATION — Daniel determined in his heart not to eat the king’s defiled food.

QUESTION: Working as many of you do in the market place where compromise is a daily occurrence, have you determined in your heart to not take the first step toward defilement?

  1. DELIVERANCE — Daniel chose to believe God for deliverance amidst humanly impossible circumstances.

One example was Daniel’s commitment to interpret the king’s dream before God guaranteed him the interpretation. Failure would surely cost him his life. (Daniel 2:1-23; Key vs. Daniel 2:16; See Daniel 6:6-23)

QUESTION: Are you willing to take steps of faith (when warranted) that could cost you an account, diminish your production, or otherwise adversely affect your career?

  1. DEPENDENCE — In times of crisis, Daniel chose to be dependent upon his compatriots.

In the instances cited in 1. and 2. above, Daniel enlisted the support or prayers of his three Jewish companions. (Daniel 1:9-20; 2:17, 18)

QUESTION: Are you locked in with a team of friends whom you look to for mutual moral and spiritual support? Or are you choosing to tough it out alone? (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10)

  1. DECENCY — Daniel chose to live a life of uncompromising decency.

After interpreting the king’s dream he chose not to yield to the king’s influence by accepting his gifts. (Daniel 5:17; Consider also Daniel 6:1-5)

QUESTION: Has your moral integrity been compromised by receiving gifts or favors from those in positions of power or authority? (Proverbs 23:1-3)

THE BIG QUESTION: “You are in the world, but is the world in you? (John 17:13-19)

Someone is nodding and I sense in my spirit that is in agreement and a step in forward movement. You have been stranded awhile and have been asking the way forward. Thank God that your prayer has been answered. The light has come and your world has been lighted (Jn 1:4) the Wisdom to live above your challenges has finally come. Praise the Lord.

Finally my beloved, this you must know that the Sovereign Lord will not be quiet forever. He will arise and show that He is Lord (Ps 74:10-12; 18-23)

Go and do exploits in the Lord and let us always make this prayer in Ps 119:117 (Sustain me, and I will be rescued; then I will meditate continually on your decrees) (NLT)

 Praise the Name of Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
