Come and see the Lord is good, come and see the Lord is good there is nothing He cannot do, come and see the Lord is good, He gave victory, He gave me peace of mind, come and see the Lord is good, come and see the Lord is good.// I will exalt You Lord for Thou has lifted me above my enemies Your banner over me is love. I will exalt You Jesus for Thou has lifted me above my enemies You banner over me is love.

Yes! Lord Your banner over is love. Thank You Father for Your Goodness and mercies that constantly shower over us, You are God, You are not just big, You are not just great, You are a great God! who is like unto Thee Lord, there is none to compare with You, faithful is Your Name, You are worthy of our Praise, glory be to you on high in Jesus Name.

Who is like unto Thee, O! Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiness, fearful in praises doing wonders, alleluia! Have Your way again and again in Jesus Name.

Beloved, good morning, how are doing? Our good is good to all that faithfully and patiently wait on Him. His Name is Yahweh, He is miracle working God, our God is a bigger than biggest, greater than the greatest, He is the Ocean Divider, He is a miracle working God.

Are you surprise at the topic before us today? Is a surprise to you that “Open doors granted us by God, open door to adversaries as well. Thank God for the revelatory knowledge given to Apostle Paul during his ministerial activities while he was at the part of eternity. Such knowledge makes one stand against all odd, knowing that in spite of what is going on around you that God is on your side. Praise the Lord!

Oftentimes satan strategically block our ways, make the heart of men hard against the the heart of flesh which God promise. We strive to get things done and such period can be so frustrating and draining, O it will so challenging that you being to wonder among many things such as this “ am sure that I heard God right?” are sure it was God that sent me or I sent myself?”

You will even be mocked not only by your family members but also by close associate who ought to encourage you and help you birth the ministry you received. Some will make your journey difficult with the aim to make you turn back. But we know who is at work, Mr. Devil has not change his tactics, he did to Job, he did to Reuben Jacob first son, because of sing he birthright and blessing went Judah. Even our Jesus was not left out of scheme, he made the Scribes and Pharisees to make his ministry extremely difficult but thank God for Jesus that He was never over whelmed by them rather He went about doing His work as directed by His Father who art in heaven.

Beloved, likewise we should also through endurance run the race set before us to finish it and win the crown. We will allow Satan and his cohorts to hinder us. he did not succeed with the Apostle of old, he must succeed with us too. Glory be to God on high.

Listen therefore whatever are the adversaries before you, you must not shrike back rather you will use it as a stepping stone and overcome.

Two things happen at the end, you will like Paul declare that you have fight a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. Secondly the Lord Himself will welcome you as a good and faithful servant to inherit the kingdom as He promised you (2 Tim 4:7-8; Matt 25:34) into your inheritance. Praise the Lord.

Beloved, come along with me for more:

For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. 1 Corinthians 16:9

Open doors of service may also let in adversaries. Paul had many of both. As Paul wrote to the Corinthians from Ephesus, he was trying to determine where to go next. He chose to remain longer in Ephesus because of the open doors of service God granted him. Knowing that God had opened the doors of ministry, Paul was not going to leave, regardless of how many enemies he faced. We might assume that Paul would reach the opposite conclusion. In light of the opposition he faced, he could have concluded that it was best to serve in less hostile regions. Instead, Paul based his decisions on God’s activity rather than on what people were doing.

As you respond to God’s invitations, don’t be caught by surprise when adversaries try to thwart what you are doing. If you concentrate on your opponents, you will be sidetracked from God’s activity. Don’t base your decisions on what people are doing. They cannot prevent you from carrying out God’s will (Rom. 8:31). Many times the most rewarding spiritual work is done in the crucible of persecution and opposition.

While Paul was in Ephesus, a riot broke out in reaction to his ministry. The city theater resounded with an angry mob who shouted for two hours in support of their god, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” (Acts 19:23–41). Despite this fierce rejection, Ephesus became one of the chief cities from which the gospel spread throughout Asia.

It takes spiritual discernment to see beyond human activity to God’s will. As you seek places of service, look beyond what people are saying to find what God is doing.

Wow! This is encouraging as I said earlier, let us look beyond what the enemies are doing around us to hinder God’s work else we miss what is doing. Glory be to God on high.

Praise the Lord! come and learn more from Apostle Paul in whose life are embedded with divine potential but was initially used by satan but the will of God must not be hindered not by satan nor his cohorts. Let’s discover more:

And when Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples;
but they were all afraid of him, and did not believe that he was a disciple.
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles.
Acts 9:26–27

Only God knows the potential of each believer. We can project what we think God might do in someone’s life, but we have no way of knowing. We see only outward appearances and behavior, whereas God looks at the heart (1 Sam. 16:7).

The apostles were skeptical of some who professed to be Christians. No one seemed more unlikely to become a dedicated follower of Jesus than Saul of Tarsus. He had been one of Christianity’s greatest enemies, even overseeing the murder of Stephen (Acts 7:58–60). When Paul suddenly expressed an interest in knowing the leaders of the Christian movement, it was natural for the apostles to suspect devious motives and to doubt his conversion. Nevertheless, despite the apostles’ reluctance, Barnabas assumed the best in Paul and risked his own life to be Paul’s advocate.

You may identify with Paul. Perhaps you were an improbable candidate to be a committed Christian. It may be that God placed a Christian friend beside you to help you develop your faith. Thank the Father for those He sent to you who believed in what God could do in you, even when others doubted.

Perhaps you stand with the apostles. There may be some around you in whom you have little confidence, though they claim to be Christians. Be assured that if God could turn the proud and murderous Saul into one of the greatest saints in history, He is equally capable of redeeming those around you. Don’t give up on your fellow believers.

Let us not give up on those who are not what we think or wish they should be, like Saul, God will turn them to Paul, alleluia somebody.

Don’t you ever give up on that way-ward child, unfaithful and wicked spouse, willful parents, unrelenting neighbors, brother or sister, the hand of God will be upon them for good and they will be great instruments to be use by God after all. Praise the Lord!

“Occupy till I come” is Jesus commandment that must be obey by every child of God. Praise the Lord!

Dont forget we in the last lap of our monthly theme, and we must be seen doing our father’s bits therefore like Nehemiah prayed in Neh. 1:11, likewise do same as you stand to obey God’s commandment.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
