Beloveth, the eight month is speeding up wow! we are also to the end of it… wow! But the end will not God until that which God’s propose to do for you come to pass… Yes.. Not one Word of His will fall to ground… the Lord will uphold it and bring it to the pass. Having seen that God wants us to serve and keep Him close to our heart… ours is to make sure that we hold-on to Him… Yes! we must live please Him and nothing less….
Why? Because He is God… He made us not we ourselves… He created us to love Him, serve Him, and Trust Him … we can not serve or please God when we get ourselves entangled in sin… or fall in and out of sin… when we become men pleases other than God as we have in our topic today…
Obeying men other than God has a far reaching consequences we must avoid it.
King Saul seeks to please men rather than obeying God’s instructions to him… Eli seeks to preserve his relationship with his children other than obeying God…. while Abraham obeyed God and had a generation blessings for His descendants of which are partakers… the same with Daniel and the three Hebrew boys…. Beloveth, we seek to please God other than men or others..

At times you will have to make a choice between pleasing God and pleasing those around you, for God’s ways are not man’s ways (Isa. 55:8–9). As important as it is to strive for good relations with others, it is even more important to maintain a steadfast and obedient relationship with Christ. Disobeying God to keep peace with other people is never wise. Peace with God is always paramount.
Jesus warned that obeying Him might cause division in your relationships (Matt. 10:35–36). If Paul’s primary goal had been to please others, he would never have become an apostle of Jesus Christ. Paul went completely against the wishes of his colleagues in order to obey Christ.
At times, obedience to God sets family members at odds with each other (Matt. 10:35–36). When you follow Jesus’ Lordship, your family may misunderstand, or even oppose you, yet your obedience to God reflects your identity as His child. Jesus said that those who obey His will are His brothers and sisters (Luke 8:21). God does not intend to divide the home, but He places obedience before domestic harmony.
It is important to get alone in quietness with God so that you understand what pleases Him. The world’s thinking will mislead you more easily when you are not clear about what God desires. It broke Peter’s heart to know that the opinion of a servant girl had mattered more to him than the approval of his Lord!
If the desire to appease others tempts you to compromise what you know God wants you to do, learn from Peter’s mistake. Determine that you will please your Lord regardless of the opinions of others.
Beloveth…having know that we may not fail into the same sin like the case of Ananias and Sapphira…who choose took counsel with themselves and the Holy Spirit found them out and sadly they were dead but it was a great lesson to the early church and us … may God help us in Jesus Name…
Beloveth we owe our allegiance to God and no than… having been delivered from sin and its associates, may we keep ourselves pure and clean… may we stand in holiness and truth… may we live pleasing God always and all the time in Jesus Name…
