How excellent is Your loving kindness o! Lord. Thank You for the gift of life; we are grateful that we can move and have our being in You, Lord.  For many time we have failed You, Father, please have mercy on us; let our hands be holy to be lifted up to You even as we pray today in Jesus Name.

Beloved, welcome in the presence of our great God as you pray and get answers to your prayers today in Jesus Name, Are you ready to go? Last week, we mentioned that only prayer get things done in the kingdom of our Father, not murmuring or complaining which we are always victims to. Put it another way “prayer” is the coin use for exchange in the heavenly. Sound surprising to you, there is no Naira, Pound Sterling, Dollar, Euro or Yen use in the heaven transaction, everything or struggles ends here so be careful how you invest your time and resources.

Someone is looking disappointed but that is the truth. Our great Master Jesus prayed not once or twice but all the time, He prays and get answers to His request because He knows that His Father hears Him always. Praise God, someone!

Today, we will considering the way to start our day right and keep it right all through the day. We shall also be considering what to do when facing challenges of life. So let get going:

Eternal Father of my soul, let my first thought be of You.

Let my first impulse be to worship You.

Let my speech be Your Name.

Let my first action be to kneel before You in prayer… ”

Let me not, when this morning prayer is said, think my worship ended and spend the day in forgetfulness of You. Rather from these moments of quietness let light go forth, and joy, and power, that will remain with me through all the hours of the day;

Keeping me chaste in thought: (“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14)

Keeping me temperate and truthful: (“Do not let any unwholesomeness talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29)

Keeping me humble in my estimation of myself: (“Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.” Romans 12:3b)

Keeping me honorable and generous in my dealings with others: (“Freely you have received, freely give… Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Matthew 10:8b; Romans 12:10)

Keeping me loyal to every hallowed memory of the past: (“Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers.” Proverbs 22:28)

Keeping me mindful of my eternal destiny as a child of yours: (“In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-kept in heaven for you.” 1 Peter 1:3b, 4)

Let me then put back into Your hand all that You have given me, rededicating to Your service all the powers of my mind and body, all my worldly goods, all my influence with others. All these O Father, are yours to use as You willSpeak in my words today, think in my thoughts, and work in my deeds… “ In Jesus Name. Amen.

Beloved, are standing alone? Are you aware that a threefold cord cannot be easily broken? This is a call to you to get a partner in the faith. It will not only make you accountable but also dependable in time of crises which are bound to be. Don’t deceive yourself, you cannot run away from it neither can you hid from it, since it is bound to be what measure do you have in place like most organization will ask their managers or officers to guide against such an occurrence. Never stand alone; always make sure you are standing with others or someone:

Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.—Ecclesiastes 4:9–10

From the beginning of time, God made it clear that it is not good for His people to be alone (Gen. 2:18). God designed us to cooperate. Throughout the Scriptures He speaks of His people as a community that accomplishes more together than separately. God did not create us as isolated individuals, each seeking to achieve our own goals. Rather, the success of our endeavors depends upon our interdependence. This is why He established the Church and released His Holy Spirit to empower the community of believers to spread the gospel. We are to be a kingdom of priests (1 Pet. 2:9).

During difficult times it is critical that we are walking in fellowship with other Christians. When a crisis hits, it is overwhelming to face it alone. But if we have cultivated supportive friendships, we will find strength in the comfort and encouragement of those who care about us. Interdependence is also a safeguard for us when we are lured by temptation. The consistent testimony of those who have fallen to temptation is that they isolated themselves from other believers and were not held accountable by Christian friends.

If you are not a part of a caring community of believers, you are missing out on what God designed you for. You are also in danger of falling into sin. You must link your life with others who are seeking God’s will. Seek to be a person who willingly joins others in carrying out God’s assignments. Strive to be the source of support and encouragement that those around you need.

Beloved, how accountable are you? May God make you a man and woman of prayer as you make yourself accountable to your brethren, don’t forget the story of the fig tree in the bible it never pay to stand alone. (If you want the rhema on the “fig tree” send a mail to me requesting for the story). God bless you. Keep a date with us tomorrow; our anniversary day. Pray for God’s blessing and manifestation in the ministry.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
