Sweet Jesus, Sweet Jesus, how wonderful You are. You are brighter than the morning star, You are beautiful, more beautiful than the lily that grows by the way, You are precious, more precious than gold.// Who is like unto Thee O Lord, who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods, who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiness, fearful in praising, doing wonders alleluia.

Dear Father who art in heaven, hallow be Thy Name, let Thy kingdom come, and Thy will be done on earth, thank You dear Lord for what You are doing, keep doing in our lives daily. Thank You for precious gift of our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we daily triumph above all. Glory be your Name on high. Eternal Rock of Ages we bless Your Holy Name. Beloved, how excellent is our God, the One Who is above, glory be His Name on high, alleluia, Praise the Lord. Are we ready to go before the throne of grace this moment to be blessed. Prayer we learn today is a preparation. Yes! Preparation that we must make to align ourselves to the will of God, as we go through the ministration below our eyes of understanding will be lightened as did the Apostle of old we they diligently obeyed Jesus command same will happen to us as we daily keep our alter of prayer burning with coals of fire ignited by fervent prayers that availeth much. Praise the Lord.

When our Lord Jesus prayed, His ministry was delivered to Him; His team of ministerial assignment was revealed to Him, though He is the son of the Most High God and a heir to the throne, He constantly interceded to be align with His Father’s will.

I just to want be like Jesus in be life. This is a song. While do I sing it, sincerely, I just want o be like Jesus in all I do, because that the only way to please God and align myself to His will only, may God help me in Jesus Name. However if that is also your heart desire, you can join me to pray this same prayer and the Holy Spirit will help us.

So as we cast our burden unto the Lord today, let us come boldly and He that have the power to do all things we answer us (Ps 55:22, Heb 4:16, Mk 7:37). Praise the Lord.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:1

Prayer does not give you spiritual power. Prayer aligns your life with God so that He chooses to demonstrate His power through you. The purpose of prayer is not to convince God to change your circumstances but to prepare you to be involved in God’s activity. The fervent prayer of the people at Pentecost did not induce the Holy Spirit to come upon them. Prayer brought them to a place where they were ready to participate in the mighty work God had already planned.

Jesus told His followers to remain in Jerusalem until the Spirit came upon them (Acts 1:4–5). The disciples obeyed His command, waiting for God’s next directive. As they prayed, God adjusted their lives to what He intended to do next. As they prayed, a unity developed among them. For the first time the disciples used Scripture as their guide in decision making (Acts 1:15–26).

The day of Pentecost arrived, and the city of Jerusalem filled with pilgrims from around the world. When God released His Holy Spirit upon the disciples, He had already filled the city with messengers who would carry the gospel to every nation. Prayer had prepared the disciples for their obedient response.

Prayer is designed to adjust you to God’s will, not to adjust God to your will. If God has not responded to what you are praying, you may need to adjust your praying to align with God’s agenda. Rather than focusing on what you would like to see happen, realize that God may be more concerned with what He wants to see happen in you.

Beloved, we must pray always and not give up as instructed us by our Lord Jesus Christ (Lk 18:1). We admonished to sanctify the Lord in our heart (1Pet 3:15),  If you are ready to do just that then fellow me:

“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” Leviticus 6:13

Keep the altar of private prayer burning. This is the very life of all piety. The sanctuary and family altars borrow their fires here, there- fore let this burn well. Secret devotion is the very essence, evidence, and barometer, of vital and experimental religion.

Burn here the fat of your sacrifices. Let your closet seasons be, if possible, regular, frequent, and undisturbed. Effectual prayer availeth much. Have you nothing to pray for? Let us suggest the Church, the ministry, your own soul, your children, your relations, your neighbours, your country, and the cause of God and truth throughout the world.

Let us examine ourselves on this important matter. Do we engage with lukewarmness in private devotion? Is the fire of devotion burning dimly in our hearts? Do the chariot wheels drag heavily? If so, let us be alarmed at this sign of decay. Let us go with weeping, and ask for the Spirit of grace and of supplications. Let us set apart special seasons for extraordinary prayer. For if this fire should be smothered beneath the ashes of a worldly conformity, it will dim the fire on the family altar, and lessen our influence both in the Church and in the world.

The text will also apply to the altar of the heart. This is a golden altar indeed. God loves to see the hearts of His people glowing towards Himself. Let us give to God our hearts, all blazing with love, and seek His grace, that the fire may never be quenched; for it will not burn if the Lord does not keep it burning. Many foes will attempt to extinguish it; but if the unseen hand behind the wall pour thereon the sacred oil, it will blaze higher and higher. Let us use texts of Scripture as fuel for our heart’s fire, they are live coals; let us attend sermons, but above all, let us be much alone with Jesus.

Beloved, do not to cease to pray for yourself, your family, ministry, church and your nation and as you obey God’s commandment to intercede for others, He will bless you and also pour a sacred oil on your prayer alter that will ensure that it burns continually.

Father, answer us as we lay our burden before your throne. Thank You Father for we know you will hear as we call.

Beloved, pray and receive answers as you pray today.

Remain blessed in Jesus Name.
