O God You answer prayers,

The God I serve answers prayers,

Only Jesus answers prayers.

Heavenly father, we thank You for Your manifestation in the lives of Your children. Thank You for answers to prayers, for healings, protections, provisions, Divine guidance, Faithfulness, Divine love, showers of rain, rain in abundance in the lives of Your beloved children.

Father, we are grateful for every victories won this month. If is not for the Lord, the enemies will have made us a mixed meat. For He watches over us and our angels are alert to defend us from every unseen forces of darkness. Thank You Lord.

Beloved, how is going with you? This is the last Wednesday, God must surely show forth in those issues that are bothering you. You must testify to the glory of God. Do you my joy dear beloved, Our God is not bounded by space or time. In the world we living today, no one will promote you above himself or herself but not so with our God, He puts you anywhere you want to be. He is Spirit and everything belongs to Him. He blesses you according to His plan and vision for you.

He also blesses you according to how large your vision is. We discussed partly about “ambassadors” on the Monday devotional. In Kingdom business, ambassadors are intercessors who stands in the presence of God daily praying for God’s divine interventions in the lives of His people. Don’t forget that you are Royal Priest and as a priest, your core function is to intercede on behalf of others.

What qualifies you into that position is a righteous living (Jas 5:17) was very explicit on that. We have our heroes of faith who prayed out their nation from crisis, the likes of Daniel (9:3-21), Solomon (2 Chr 7 :12-16), Nehemiah (Neh 1:5-11), Jesus taught His disciples to pray the will of God, let Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven(Lk 11:2)

As an ambassador, you cannot go before your president to say, you know my water pump is not flowing, neither will you complain about your faulty cooking gas. The president will expect a report of his citizen in the country where you reside than about yourself. He know it is his duty to get those things fix for you for your comfort.

Beloved, but that what do when we come before God, just speaking about ourselves and family. May God give you a deeper understanding in Jesus Name.

Back to the matter of the day. How do you prepare to meet God? Do you get yourself ready enough for His appearing? Let me take you on a little journey in the bible (Esther 5:1-2). Is so important we appear before God looking good both spiritual and physically. Our God has a sense of humor, let consider what happened in (Gen 8:21) and as a result He made a vow. Won’t you like God to do something extra ordinary as merely hearing your voice of praise (Acts 16:25-26), or hearing your voice interceding on national issues (Dan 9:3-21).

The next message is emphasizing on our sensitivity to the spiritual things. Your prayer life delivers your heart desires cheaply to you. Your prayer life keeps you in command of what God wants you to do in every situation. So ride on to see God blessedness as you study His word:

And the Lord told Moses, “Go to the people and purify them today and tomorrow. They must wash their clothes and be prepared by the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.—Exodus 19:10–11

Meeting with God requires preparation. God is awesome and perfectly holy. Barging into His presence unprepared is an affront. When the children of Israel were to meet with Him, God commanded them first to take two full days to prepare. Once the people were ready, however, God spoke to them with thunder and lightning, with fire and smoke and the sound of loud trumpets (Exod. 19:16–25). It was through this encounter that God revealed such marvelous truths as the Ten Commandments, establishing the standard by which God expected His people to live.

You cannot spend day after day in the world without its affecting your mind and will and heart. It doesn’t take long to become disoriented to the ways of God. The world has a dulling effect on your spiritual sensibilities. God established the Sabbath so His people could take an entire day to refocus on Him and His will for them after spending six days in the world.

How do you prepare for your times of worship? What fills your mind the night before? Often the last thing you put into your mind at night is still on your mind the next morning. Genuine worship requires spiritual preparation. Your experiences of worship reflect your spiritual preparation. Prepare yourself now for your next encounter with God.

Hope you are doing just that. No more careless and sluggish appearance before your Maker. Are you promising? Okay let’s take the next message and see how sensitive we before God:

“When thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, then thou shalt bestir thyself.” 2Samuel 5:24

The members of Christ’s Church should be very prayerful, always seeking the unction of the Holy One to rest upon their hearts, that the kingdom of Christ may come, and that His “will be done on earth, even as it is in heaven;” but there are times when God seems especially to favour Zion, such seasons ought to be to them like “the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees.”

We ought then to be doubly prayerful, doubly earnest, wrestling more at the throne than we have been wont to do. Action should then be prompt and vigorous. The tide is flowing—now let us pull manfully for the shore. O for Pentecostal outpourings and Pentecostal labours. Christian, in yourself there are times “when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees.”

You have a peculiar power in prayer; the Spirit of God gives you joy and gladness; the Scripture is open to you; the promises are applied; you walk in the light of God’s countenance; you have peculiar freedom and liberty in devotion, and more closeness of communion with Christ than was your wont.

Now, at such joyous periods when you hear the “sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees,” is the time to bestir yourself; now is the time to get rid of any evil habit, while God the Spirit helpeth your infirmities. Spread your sail; but remember what you sometimes sing

 “I can only spread the sail;

Thou! Thou! must breathe the auspicious gale.”

Only be sure you have the sail up. Do not miss the gale for want of preparation for it. Seek help of God, that you may be more earnest in duty when made more strong in faith; that you may be more constant in prayer when you have more liberty at the throne; that you may be more holy in your conversation whilst you live more closely with Christ.

Having read these, will you prepare yourself before appearing before the presence of God? Bearing in mind that the preparation is both spiritual and physical.  Also having heard what the word of God is saying about be string yourself, are you ready for to bestir yourself?

Beloved, the Lord will visit us afresh and do that which only Him can do in your life; in my life and the kingdom of darkness cannot withstand Him in Jesus Name I prophesy!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
