Holy Spirit You are welcome in this place, omnipotent Father have mercy on us, You are welcome in this place. O Lord, we thank You. Blessed Redeemer, we worship You. Thank You Lord for yester years, thank for this day and the days to come, be Thou exulted in the Jesus Name.
We are grateful unto You for all You have helped us to be and yet to be. In You is the fullness of our joy. Lord we cannot do without Thee. Let earth rejoice and the living proclaim, our Lord reign.
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine. Beloved, how good do you feel knowing that Jesus is yours? If God be for us; who can be against us? The Word of the Lord said in vain do they gather for they will surely scatter. Their gathering is not of the Lord therefore whoever gathereth together against thee shall fall because of thee.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servant of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. (Isa 54:15-17).
Beloved, afraid that the number of your days might be cut short? Afraid that the enemy of your soul and his agents are fierce? I believe you are nodding your head as you are reading God’s promises to you. Do not be afraid, the silence of the Lord is not weakness as many count it. The day of their calamity is near and they like Pharaoh’s armies will run into it and be destroyed. Praise the Name of the Lord!
For every work God entrusted into your hand, He will enable you to accomplish except it is not the Lord. Where their scheming had put you, be thou faithful for the day comes, when your light shall shine forth and you will be sent for.
Joseph was sent for by Pharaoh; Daniel was honoured even when His enemies taught they had finally overcame him. While David was going about His father’s business far away in the bush tending his sheep, he was forgotten by him but God did not. Samuel sent for him and he was crowned the king of Israel. He later the great grandfather of our Lord Jesus Christ (grace at work). God is a Great Orchestrator.
When Haman dug a gallows of fifty cubits high for Mordecai, he never knew he was digging a gallows big enough for his entire household.
What is it that the enemy is doing against you, family, career, business and ministry? Hear me, it is that big enough so as to wipe them off the surface of the earth. Remember, if God be for us; who can be against us. The Lord shall preserve you until the work is done, until then, you remain immortal:
“The Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.” Acts 23:11
Are you a witness for the Lord, and are you just now in danger? Then remember that you are immortal till your work is done. If the Lord has more witness for you to bear, you will live to bear it. Who is he that can break the vessel which the Lord intends again to use?
If there is no more work for you to do for your Master, it cannot distress you that He is about to take you home, and put you where you will be beyond the reach of adversaries. Your witness-bearing for Jesus is your chief concern, and you cannot be stopped in it till it is finished: therefore be at peace.
Cruel slander, wicked misrepresentation, desertion of friends, betrayal by the most trusted one, and whatever else may come, cannot hinder the Lord’s purpose concerning you. The Lord stands by you in the night of your sorrow, and He says, “Thou must yet bear witness for me.” Be calm, be filled with joy in the Lord.
If you do not need this promise just now, you may very soon. Treasure it up. Remember also to pray for missionaries, and all persecuted ones, that the Lord would preserve them even to the completion of their life work.
Pray for them till their work is done that they fear no man but be committed to work that is entrusted into their hands.
“And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.” Deut. 28:10
Then we can have no reason to be afraid of them. This would show a mean spirit, and be a token of unbelief rather than of faith. God can make us so like Himself, that men shall be forced to see that we rightly bear His name, and truly belong to the Holy Jehovah. Oh, that we may obtain this grace, which the Lord waits to bestow!
Be assured that ungodly men have a fear of true saints. They hate them, but they also fear them. Haman trembled because of Mordecai, even when he sought the good man’s destruction. In fact, their hate often arises out of a dread which they are too proud to confess. Let us pursue the path of truth and uprightness without the slightest tremor.
Fear is not for us, but for those who do ill and fight against the Lord of hosts. If indeed the name of the Eternal God is named upon us, we are secure; for, as of old, a Roman had but to say Romanus sum, I am a Roman, and he could claim the protection of all the legions of the vast empire; so every one who is a man of God has omnipotence as his guardian, and God will sooner empty Heaven of angels than leave a saint without defense.
Be braver than lions for the right, for God is with you. Who can be against you? Declare like the Psalmist “My soul followeth hard after Thee Lord! therefore no evil is permitted to befall me.
Remain blessed in the Lord.
