Beloveth, without salvation a man is dead in sin but when salvation is made available to a man that man is alive in Christ (Eph 2:1).
Beloveth the above chapter enlightens us about the immerse treasure a child of God has in Christ Jesus. We are therefore to Christ it, value it and cooperate with Godhead to preserve it and grow in it unto glorification.
The unsaved sinner is lost , blind, and spiritually dead and under the control of satan and his demons (2 Cor. 4:3-4) the saved soul cannot know the truth, he or she cannot understand the ways of God and is not in control of himself or herself(1 Cor 2:14).
The unsaved sinner does not understand what he or she is doing, why he or she is doing it, the temporal and eternal implication of life he or she is living, and the forces that controls him or her (Rom 8:5-8)
This explained why no man can be saved without believing and receiving Jesus Christ into his/her heart as his/her personal Lord and Saviour. It explained why you and I must passionately intercede for sinners and always share the gospel with them by faith.
And when a man is save salvation has come into his/her heart. Salvation is not of works but by grace. It is the finished work at the Calvary that saved a man from eternal damnation. Salvation is the sovereign power of God upon man He created to save him/her from hell and lead him/her to heaven at last.
Beloveth our salvation is not by our own effort, wisdom, power or righteousness (Tit. 2:11-12) When we recognize this, we will always be grateful to god, worship and thank Him passionately for our salvation, and always rejoice in the finished work of Calvary. After salvation has been given to a man that same man is expected to preserve his/her salvation by diligently studying the Word of God, praying (we are doing today) mediating on the Word of God. We must not frustrate the grace of God (Gal 2:21) and we must ensure that the grace of God upon our lives are not in vain ( I Cor.15:10), we must not continue in sin for grace to abound rather we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Ron 6:1,Phil 2:12-13).
A soul without salivation is a workshop ready to manufacture or use for any evil but when a man is deliver from darkness and light of God shines into his heart and redeem from all forces of darkness until then that man is a ready-made tools in the hands of satan.
Beloveth, are you born again or do you have your doubts as brother David once had. You need not be because right from the foundation of the world the Lord planned out your salvation and nothing can stop it from coming to pass.
Come alone to discover more below:
“Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.” Psalm 35:3
What does this sweet prayer teach me? It shall be my daily petition; but first let it yield me an instructive meditation. The text informs me first of all that David had his doubts; for why should he pray, “Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation,” if he were not sometimes exercised with doubts and fears?
Let me, then, be of good cheer, for I am not the only saint who has to complain of weakness of faith. If David doubted, I need not conclude that I am no Christian because I have doubts.
The text reminds me that David was not content while he had doubts and fears, but he repaired at once to the mercy-seat to pray for assurance; for he valued it as much fine gold.I too must labour after an abiding sense of my acceptance in the Beloved, and must have no joy when His love is not shed abroad in my soul. When my Bridegroom is gone from me, my soul must and will fast.
I learn also that David knew where to obtain full assurance. He went to his God in prayer, crying, “Say unto my soul I am thy salvation.” I must be much alone with God if I would have a clear sense of Jesus’ love. Let my prayers cease, and my eye of faith will grow dim.
Much in prayer, much in heaven; slow in prayer, slow in progress. I notice that David would not be satisfied unless his assurance had a divine source. “Say unto my soul.” Lord, do Thou say it! Nothing short of a divine testimony in the soul will ever content the true Christian.
Moreover, David could not rest unless his assurance had a vivid personality about it. “Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.” Lord, if Thou shouldst say this to all the saints, it were nothing, unless Thou shouldst say it to me. Lord, I have sinned; I deserve not Thy smile; I scarcely dare to ask it; but oh! say to my soul, even to my soul, “I am thy salvation.”
Let me have a present, personal, infallible, indisputable sense that I am Thine, and that Thou art mine.
Beloveth, are you saved by the blood of Jesus? Then, you are up for More Blessing. Pray earnestly that the Spirit of God will envelope you and make you a child of God. Praise the Lord.
Pray for auction of the Holy Spirit to help you where you are weak and make you strong. Pray that your heart will not be harden against the Word of God rather that you will have a heart of flesh to receive God’s Word. Pray for sinners to come to Christ, mention names and the Lord will save such one in Jesus Name Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remain blessed in the Lord.
