Beloveth, we have gathered again today to pray to Only true God, He promised to hear the prayers of a righteous man which availeth much. Therefore we must keep praying until something happens.

We will be taking the last part of the series we have run for four weeks now. We hope that has encouraged you in the place of prayer. Beloveth, we are nothing outside Christ and to stay engrafted to Him, we must keep praying.

Fellowship is on God’s mind when He made man in His image. God desires our worship. He desires to fellowship with man that He created but when man fall that fellowship was broken. God could no longer come to man as we saw in the Garden of Eden rather the reverse became the case- we pray and wait for answer to come.

But by the grace of God, God has given us the opportunity to come to Him through the Blood of Jesus without hindrance. The veil was torn and the holiest of Holy was made accessible to man. Praise the Lord.

Today we will be considering How John Hyde learned how to pray.

One translation at Isaiah 62:6-7 says, “They must remind God of His promises… and not let Him remain quiet until He restores Jerusalem.” We must remind God of His promises and not let Him remain clam until He answers. This is a passage that teaches John Hyde (the intercessor) how to pray with perseverance.

Hyde grew up in Carthage, Illinois, in the home of a pastor. At the McCormick Seminary, he committed to doing overseas evangelism, so after graduating, he went to India. His traveling ministry took John from village to village, but his preaching only resulted in some repentance until finally he found the truth in Isaiah 62:6-7 and believed it.

At the beginning of 1908, he prayed to win at least one soul for Christ every day. On December 31, he noted that there were more than 400 converts.

The following year, God placed two souls per day in his heart, and his prayer was answered again. The following year, he prayed for four souls per day with similar results.

Once, when he stopped in front of a hut to drink, Hyde asked God for ten souls. He preached the gospel to the family, and at the end of his visit, all families totaling nine people were saved. But what about the ten person? Suddenly the family’s niece, who was playing outside, entered the room and was converted.

Devotion:

Often God wants to see our perseverance in prayer before He answers our prayers. when we pray earnestly, the heart of God will be moved to answer our prayers. do we always have a heart that is always determine to pray? let us always pray in perseverance and hope in waiting for our answers to prayer.

Prayer is the first, second, and third important thing for a servant of God. Pray my brother, my sister, pray, pray, pray. (Edward Payson). (Isa 62:6-7, Col 4:2).

Are you ready to pray until answers come? I am a living witness that God answers prayer if we persevere.

The reason you getting this ministration by now is as result of perseverance in the place of prayer concerning an issue of over twenty years. God promise to come, behold today He came down and repair a stormy and weak foundation outstanding for twenty years. Praise the Lord!

Do you need that type of miracle? Then be ready to pray until your answers come. Mine came today, you are the next in line but you must receive it at the place of prayer. Yes! Prayer is the Master Key.

Let us discover more below:

“So she gleaned in the field until even.” Ruth 2:17

Let me learn from Ruth, the gleaner. As she went out to gather the ears of corn, so must I go forth into the fields of prayer, meditation, the ordinances, and hearing the word to gather spiritual food.

The gleaner gathers her portion ear by ear; her gains are little by little: so must I be content to search for single truths, if there be no greater plenty of them. Every ear helps to make a bundle, and every gospel lesson assists in making us wise unto salvation.

The gleaner keeps her eyes open: if she stumbled among the stubble in a dream, she would have no load to carry home rejoicingly at eventide. I must be watchful in religious exercises lest they become unprofitable to me; I fear I have lost much already—O that I may rightly estimate my opportunities, and glean with greater diligence.

The gleaner stoops for all she finds, and so must I. High spirits criticize and object, but lowly minds glean and receive benefit. A humble heart is a great help towards profitably hearing the gospel. The engrafted soul-saving word is not received except with meekness. A stiff back makes a bad gleaner; down, master pride, thou art a vile robber, not to be endured for a moment.

What the gleaner gathers she holds: if she dropped one ear to find another, the result of her day’s work would be but scant; she is as careful to retain as to obtain, and so at last her gains are great.

How often do I forget all that I hear; the second truth pushes the first out of my head, and so my reading and hearing end in much ado about nothing! Do I feel duly the importance of storing up the truth?

A hungry belly makes the gleaner wise; if there be no corn in her hand, there will be no bread on her table; she labours under the sense of necessity, and hence her tread is nimble and her grasp is firm; I have even a greater necessity, Lord, help me to feel it, that it may urge me onward to glean in fields which yield so plenteous a reward to diligence.

Is someone ready to pray? Beloveth, God is ready to answer; if you are ready to pray. therefore pray and received from the Lord.

Don’t forget to keep your have gathered; a hungry belly makes the gleaner wise…..therefore labour to pray and receive answers in Jesus Name!!!

Our Father in heaven, we have heard, we have seen how you answer prayers, walk in midst O Lord and answer us as we pray in Jesus Name

Beloveth, open your mouth and pray, keep on praying until answers come in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
