Beloveth… ever seen God’s glory? Have encountered God in worship, in prayer, at a Revival Conference, alone in your house, while bathing, while doing your chores…. It is usually full with unexplainable experiences… The priest at Solomon’s time could no longer minister as the glory of God filled the temple….

Beloveth, we are in different dispensation… Christ having died on the Cross… The veil at the temple torn from top to down and at resurrection and ascension we were confirmed with fire – Holy Spirit… we became God’s temple …. Wow! Let the glory of God fill us to overflowing in Jesus Name….

Come along for more beloveth…

When Solomon finished praying, fire descended from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.—2 Chronicles 7:1

The glory of the Lord is His presence. When God occupies a place, His glory is unmistakably evident! God has high standards for where He will make His presence known. He does not respond to our whims or come on our terms.

Solomon longed for God’s presence to be obvious in the temple that he had painstakingly built for Him. Solomon had spared no expense or effort in building this magnificent temple as a house for the Lord. Yet he understood that constructing a spectacular building was no guarantee that God would choose to inhabit that place.

So Solomon prepared himself and the people in the hope that God would look upon them with favor. The priestly choir sang and played instruments in reverent praise to God (2 Chron. 5:11–14). The priests sacrificed so many animals on the altar that they could not count them (2 Chron. 5:6). So Solomon prayed, and when he finished, fire came down from heaven and consumed their offering.

The glory of the Lord filled the temple! God’s glory was so overpowering in Solomon’s temple that the priests could not carry on their normal activities (2 Chron. 7:2).

There is no mistaking when God inhabits a place. God’s glorious presence fills a place, and it is impossible to carry on business as usual! The New Testament teaches that our lives are temples because Christ abides in us (1 Cor. 3:16).

We cannot assume by this that our lives are pleasing to Him. Like Solomon, we must thoroughly prepare ourselves so that God will choose to reveal His presence in our lives. When He does, there will be no doubt that it is God!

Beloveth, today is our PCL… in the days of old, King Solomon offered an accepted sacrifice in the temple and the glory of God descended upon it that the priest could not enter into the house of the Lord…. and the children of Israel also saw the glory of God all around….

Today, the glory of God has left the temple to reside inside of us… someone wants to know more… before Jesus finally gave up the Ghost… the veil of the temple was twain from the top to the bottom…(Matt.27:51).

Beloveth… we are the temple of the Most High God…. Rom.12:1…. The glory of God no longer resides in the structural temple but in us… The big question is …. Can God inhabit you? Let’s consider the next verse Rom. 12:2 – “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and accepted, and perfect, will of God…..”

Beloveth… for God to reside in you …. The things of this world will not be a priority…., secondly, you have to place yourself in God’s love by being in service for Him… (Jude.21)… alleluia somebody…. Thirdly, God’s “Will” must be your pursuit. Amen!!!

Beloveth, we God’s temple… alleluia somebody… is your body still the temple of the Most High God? I leave with this question…. Discover the answer from the Holy Spirit in the Bible ….(Ps 139).

Wow! is being a week packed with God’s favour towards His children with full assurance of His love least any perish.. Father we return to Thank You, be Thou exalted Almighty One in Jesus Name….

Beloveth, Favour is your portion! Don’t forget; … seek from God… is abounding in Him… (Ps 30:5, Jn 1:4).
