Beloved, what a beautiful week ahead of us, Praise the Lord! I prophesy into someone’s life that before the end of this week, the Lord will decorate your life and you will be more beautiful than when the week started in Jesus Name. Yes! The Hand of the Lord will bring it to past in Jesus Name!!!

We are still on the series of the “Holy Spirit.” We want to believe that the Comforter is proving Himself strong on your behalf in your life, family, career, ministry in Jesus Name!

In our last PLC, we did mention to you that we can quench the Spirit of God through fear, resentment, indecision, and self- centeredness. Praise God. How do we do that?

The word of God says in 1Cor 1:18 that “The preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

When we discuss here what the Holy Spirit can do in a man’s life, some many doubt it but for as many that believe in the power of God, the Holy Spirit of God will help them in any situation they found themselves.

If you trust not in the power of God, you will be afraid to life your finger when you see yourself in a difficult situation. Putting our trust in God is a demonstration that we believe God. Praise the Lord! Attempting things that looks practically impossible is holding on to God which is power (Holy Spirit) manifesting in our lives and situation.

Without the power of God (Holy Spirit) our belief in God is dead. Refer back to the verse we mentioned above, it is the Holy Spirit that raised Christ from death, without which the preaching of the Cross will not be complete. Therefore we declare to you that the  power that raised Christ from death also work in your mortal bodies and make you alive in Christ Jesus (Rom  8:11). Amen!

Thank God for the Holy Spirit, that is the power of God in our midst, without the Holy Spirit, put in another way, without the power (Holy Spirit) of the God in our lives, we are mere flesh without any resistance to things of flesh. Amen!

The grace not to quench the Spirit of God in your lives, receive now, in Jesus Name! May we not quench the Spirit of God by the way we live. Doubt can quench the Spirit of God. Unbelief, laziness and resentment must not be found us if we must live out the glory of God in our lives in Jesus Name.

Come along to discover more of God’s glory through the power that is in the Holy Spirit:

Jeremiah 44:15-47:7, Psalm 119:101-104, Proverbs 26:13-16, Titus 2:9-3:15

What If?

Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority.—Titus 2:15

A little boy, when asked what the Holy Spirit meant, replied: “I suppose it is what puts the ‘oomph’ into Christianity.” He was on the right track but failed to use the correct pronoun—not “it” but “He.” The Holy Spirit is not an influence but a Person. This is why Scripture, when referring to Him, uses personal pronouns such as “He,” “who,” and “whom.”

Suppose there had been no Holy Spirit? Then we would have been faced with a religion in which there was little “oomph.” We would have the four Gospels without the upper room—distinctive, but not dynamic.

Take Mark’s Gospel, for example. If there had been no day of Pentecost, if the promised Holy Spirit had not been poured out upon God’s people, the message of Christ would have ended with these words: “So they went out and started running from the tomb, because trembling and astonishment overwhelmed them. And they said nothing to anyone, since they were afraid” (Mk 16:8).

What a sad plight we would all be in if the message of Christ had ended there. The Resurrection had taken place, the whole of the redemptive process was complete, the gladdest news that had ever burst upon human ears was in the possession of the disciples—but “they said nothing to anyone, since they were afraid.” If Christianity had ended there, it would not have been a gospel that conquered the world. No amount of good information could have transformed those early disciples. Something else was needed—the Holy Spirit.

Prayer

O God, help me not to live in the twilight zone between Resurrection and Pentecost. I want to know all the fullness of the upper room in my life. Turn me from a flickering torch into a flaming torch. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What did Jesus say of the Holy Spirit?

What is another title of the Holy Spirit?

Beloved, fears are cast away in our lives in Jesus Name. We receive the power (Holy Spirit) of God according to the Word of Lord to us as a token from our high Praise to Him. This promise has gone forth from his mouth in righteousness, and shall not return without accomplishing those things which He has sent it to do in Jesus Name (Isa 45:23,25).

Thank God for the power of God through the Holy Spirit to us. Be excited, rejoice and be glad. The Lord will show forth His Praise in our lives in Jesus Name. Faithful is our God! The third Person in Trinity will make us dynamite and nothing including sin will be found in us. He will make us strong against the wiles of devil in Jesus Name.

Remember we are the post-resurrection order of Christians, therefore we must manifest the power God, we must manifest Holy Spirit

Beloved upon the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we declare this week open and by the grace of God, we shall return with greater testimonies in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
