What a Mighty God we serve. What Mighty God we serve, heaven and earth are adore Thee, angels bow before Thee what a Mighty God we serve.// take glory Father, take glory Son, take glory Holy Spirit now and forever more.// I am thanking Lord for Who You, what you have done, Dan Sakari Baba.

Yes! Father, we are thanking You for What You have done in our lives. Glory be to Holy Name. Blessed be the Name of the Lord, He is Worthy to be praise and adore, Lord we lift our holy hands in one accord, singing blessed be the Lord, honour to the Lord, O! blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Beloved, good morning from the Throne of grace. How are doing? Hope you are blessed, you are receiving answers to prayers. The sick are healed, the oppressed are being delivered, restoration are taking place in diverse dimension, O glory be to God on high.

I am so excited this morning because our is Able and He is so faithful. His love knows no bound. Thank God for being God indeed. He is a miracle working God. Eternity is His Name. I just feel like raising my voice once again to heaven to eulogies the Only One God, the Maker of heaven and earth. He is faithful; He is Mighty. He never sleep; He never slumber. He is never tried hearing our pleas, when we are weak, He becomes stronger,…….   Praise the Lord.

Beloveth, you must have come across the topic of today several before now, I also have but my prayer for you is that you will never be too familiar with the Word of God that you will get the blessings it contains in Jesus Name.

How strong is your faith? How easy is for you to exercise it in the face of trials? Yesterday, we prayed to God to help us not be anxious and secondly we prayed that we should be lead into temptation and that God should deliver us from all evil. Do you know the blessings that follows us when we bring everything to God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving?

Beloved, peace of God which passeth all understanding sall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. How do l know about this? That is what todays will enlightens us more on. Praise God!

Do you know that often times when we pray, we don’t see anything change in the physical as we make declarations but something is happening in the spiritual realm. Now those things you spoke about or into being as we pray, we must believe that they are as we have spoken or commanded it to be and when that happens there is a peace that we experiences in our inner mind and we hold it forth with faith. A simple faith is all that is needed, beloved, a “simple faith”. That God will honour my request because He is my Father and I should be able to trust Him to do so because His Word said so.

How are you doing in the school of faith, dearly beloved? The book of Hebrew told us that without faith it impossible to please God and our text for today said everything we do that is not from faith is a “sin”.

So when I commit anything in God’s Hand, I should believe Him and that will keep shut the door of anxiety. Then I should able to experience the peace of God which He promised me. Also my faith should hold on my request till there are manifestation of same in the physical. Praise God!

Faith is saying that once you have sown in the spiritual, it will definitely manifest in physical. So it is not until you see it in the physical that you believe but even when you are yet to see its manifestation, faith says, “am already in operation.” Praise God!

I had a challenge recently and in the midst of that challenge God spoke to me “faith without work is dead. (Jas 2:20) I was shock. So I started struggling with my work but it was a great challenge. Again God spoke after some days, He gave me another scripture on faith (Jas 2:22) which said that “by works was faith made perfect.”

Do I know about this scripture yes of course I do but in the face of this challenge the devil wanted to intimidate me. So many things went wrong and I don’t know where to start, I thought the end has come as that was the situation satan was presently to me constantly. Again God spoke to my surprise from Zechar. 8:13.  “Fear not, but let your hands be strong”. With all these encouragement from the Lord, I became very bold in my Spirit man. So each time Satan come in like a flood (with his lies), the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him. I will remind myself what the Word said concerning the situation at hand and my faith will be stronger. (how rich are you in the Word of God) don’t wait until crisis come before you pick up your bible, I tell you, you will not know what was written in it except God’s mercies is made available to you.

When the battle became fierce God spoke to me in more surprising way that made to tremble before Him, He gave me Heb 11:6 which says that “without faith it is impossible to please God”. Few days later, He said finally to me that the “the just shall live by faith.” It was a strong battle beloved but at the end “God win.”

So when I discussed some issues here, I am not tell you what I have not gone through, I am not a public speaker. I am delivering to you the challenges I have gone and how God delivered me from them all.

So the journey of faith is not theoretical but a practical walk with God.

I don’t know what you may be going through as you read this pieces but one assurance I will give you is that God knows and He will help you if you will believe and leave the burden at His feet.  The d we serve is a Living God. as God speaks to me, He addresses my situation, fears and challenges that are staring me at the face. He always make a way of escape.

He needs you to trust Him and that marks the being of your journey to victory. He saw me through my challenges; He will do same to you, if you will let Him. As I was struggling to overcome, it was becoming difficult for me at that point I told God, “You just have to help me” (Ps 119:173). I cried to Him to help my unbelief, and sure did. May someone reading this devotional need to do same. You need to surrender all to God and trust Him to see you through.

Beloved, the call of faith we are discussing today is what in the secular they will refer to as “Diligence”. Have you ever linked “faith” with “Diligence”? I have never except this morning as the Spirit led me to what I was about to share with you. He said how often we speak passionately about “diligence” when it applies to work, career, studies, businesses but never think of same when we talk about “faith”.

He said the same principle apply. I cannot believe it. I have never put the two side by side neither have I put them together before now.

And as I go through the content I shout “Jesus,” O my God!

The Spirit cannot lie, neither is He an author of confusion. He is all wisdom, so before I begin to reason it out, He knows that “Faith” and “Diligence” is one and the same.

So if you are in same line of thought with me this morning or you are surprise as I was, than come along with me as you discover more:

But whoever doubts stands condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith, and everything that is not from faith is sin.—Romans 14:23

The writer of Hebrews reminds us that without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). Whenever God reveals something, He expects us to believe Him and adjust our lives accordingly. What does this mean? It means we trust Him implicitly for all of our needs because He says He will provide (Phil. 4:19). It means we approach crises with the assurance that God will bring good from them (Rom. 8:28). It means we overcome anxiety during stressful situations because God instructs us to bring our requests to Him (Phil. 4:6). It means that we never worry that we are alone because God said He would never leave us or forsake us (Deut. 31:6). It means that, despite what happens in our lives, we will never doubt God’s love because He has told us that He loves us with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3).

At times we try to justify our lack of faith! We know what God has promised, but we doubt that He will make a practical difference in our life. We are filled with anxiety and excuse ourselves by saying: “I am just a worrier!” We become bitter during a crisis and reason that “God could not possibly bring anything good out of this pain!”

We appeal for help from everyone around us when we have a need; then we explain: “I know God can provide for my needs, but I think I should do everything I can, just in case.” God calls this faithlessness. Faithlessness is sin. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Heb. 11:6).

I hope you prayed yesterday asking God to take away anxiousness from your life. Is a deadly situation. Is does no good rather it will hurt you real bad. So keep it at arm’s length, never let it get close. Let us take same attitude of diligence in our everyday operation and apply same to our faith. Holding on until something happens- that is being diligence in the school of faith. Let’s get going:

 Diligence

DILIGENCE – A basic quality of any person worth his salt in business or the professions!

Definition-wise it has the idea of:

  • “Persistent application to one’s work or duty”
  • “To pursue with persevering, painstaking effort”

My guess is that anyone around your operation who lacks these qualities has been handed his W-2 form and ushered toward the exit.

So why is it that in the spiritual realm we often allow ourselves the luxury of a lackadaisical approach to our faith?

The Scriptures grant us no such slack:

Above all that you guard, watch over your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the sources of life.” (Proverbs 4:23 – Berkeley Translation)

Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life… ” (Deuteronomy 4:9)

Be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” (2 Peter 3:14 – kjv)

It was through Christ’s death on the cross that our salvation was won.

It is through our DILIGENT pursuit to know God that the doors are opened for us to experience all the riches in Christ Jesus now available to us.

My challenge to you is to bring the same DILIGENCE into your spiritual life that you exercise in your professional life!

Are you in agreement with me now? Diligence is same as holding on to your faith until you see something happen.

I must hence forth hold on to my faith in pursuit of God with all diligence so as to experience all the riches in Christ Jesus. Praise God!

Please read Heb 6:11 to also confirm that diligence and faith works hand in hand.

Am greatly blessed today, I hope you are also.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
