I will lift up Your Name higher, I will lift up Your Name higher, O Jehovah, Alpha Omega, I will lift up Your Name higher, O Jehovah, Alpha Omega, I will lift up Jesus higher.// Lord // Lord You are so good, Blessed be Thy Name, in heaven You are Lord, On earth You reign forever O lord  I praise Your Name blessed be Thy Name.

Jehovah Jehovah Jehovah Jehovah, Father You are God and you reigneth in heaven even here on earth You are the Lord. There is none like unto thee. I will lift up my voice, I will joyfully sing not for what You have done but for Who You are. Great are You Lord, great are Your works, on power can stand before You. The mountain skip like a rams even hills, like lamb. Gracious God, we bow before Your throne to be blessed of Thee in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, wow! Our time of refreshing is here again. Can I hear a shout of rejoicing in the house, can somebody shout Alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!. Are you glad to come into His Presence this morning? The Psalmist said “I was glad when they say let us go to house of the Lord”. Now again I ask you “are you glad to come before His Presences?

By the grace of God, Christ has grant us easy access into God’s Presence. Is it that more reason while we are not excited about it? Is that why we talk and do some unholy things before the Presences of God. Is that why pastors preach and people still go ahead to disobey God? But brethren it ought not to be so. The death of Christ which torn the veil at the temple was meant to help us to communicated directly and quickly to God others than using means and medium. Praise God.

His death was meant to bridge the gap and plead us not guilty even when we are, because His blood has washed away our sin and declared us clean. Are you aware that these days believers bubble gum in God’s house, ask them their reasons, it rangers from ‘I don’t want to be sleep’ to ‘It make me feel good’. (if it nicely done, it is understandable but not with so much disregard to the presence of God). Let me ask you a simply question, can you talk with gum in your mouth while speaking to your MD or CEO of the organization where you work? And this is just one out many things we do in God’s presence that is very abhorring.

However, I am not here to bore you with stories or make us captive in any way. Though we are free in God’s Presence but we must also know that we are before God, the Creator of the World, The One Who was, Who is and is yet to come. We must reverence God and honour Him for He is Great, praise God.

Probably, we need to ask the people of old what it is to be in God’s Presence. Beloved, the liberty bought by Christ MUST never be abuse. Let us come before Him with much trembling and His Name will be glorified, praise God.

In our topic today, we are meeting the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The SOS has Him as “…altogether lovely.”

Wow! I love that description of my Jesus. We were enjoined yesterday to love our neighbors and today we meeting with Jesus, Who is love typify.

So what are you expectation from Him? What are those things you are believing that He will do for you in the place of prayer? if Jesus is as said by the Solomon, what  and what  make up His lovely nature? All these you will discover as we read the message below.

So come with me to meet Him who is so lovely and lovely to behold. Praise God:

“Yea, He is altogether lovely.” Song 5:16

The superlative beauty of Jesus is all-attracting; it is not so much to be admired as to be loved. He is more than pleasant and fair, He is lovely. Surely the people of God can fully justify the use of this golden word, for He is the object of their warmest love, a love founded on the intrinsic excellence of His person, the complete perfection of His charms.

Look, O disciples of Jesus, to your Master’s lips, and say, “Are they not most sweet?” Do not His words cause your hearts to burn within you as He talks with you by the way? Ye worshippers of Immanuel, look up to His head of much fine gold, and tell me, are not His thoughts precious unto you? Is not your adoration sweetened with affection as ye humbly bow before that countenance which is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars?

Is there not a charm in His every feature, and is not His whole person fragrant with such a savour of His good ointments, that therefore the virgins love Him? Is there one member of His glorious body which is not attractive?—one portion of His person which is not a fresh loadstone to our souls?—one office which is not a strong cord to bind your heart?

Our love is not as a seal set upon His heart of love alone; it is fastened upon His arm of power also; nor is there a single part of Him upon which it does not fix itself. We anoint His whole person with the sweet spikenard of our fervent love. His whole life we would imitate; His whole character we would transcribe. In all other beings we see some lack, in Him there is all perfection.

The best even of His favoured saints have had blots upon their garments and wrinkles upon their brows; He is nothing but loveliness. All earthly suns have their spots: the fair world itself hath its wilderness; we cannot love the whole of the most lovely thing; but Christ Jesus is gold without alloy-light without darkness—glory without cloud—”Yea, He is altogether lovely.”

Did you make any discoverer about this lovely Jesus? Is He indeed lovely to your own understanding? Can it be said that He is indeed lovely? Maybe the next message will bring more conviction, so let continue:

“Abide in Me.” John 15:4

Communion with Christ is a certain cure for every ill. Whether it be the wormwood of woe, or the cloying surfeit of earthly delight, close fellowship with the Lord Jesus will take bitterness from the one, and satiety from the other.

Live near to Jesus, Christian, and it is matter of secondary importance whether thou livest on the mountain of honour or in the valley of humiliation. Living near to Jesus, thou art covered with the wings of God, and underneath thee are the everlasting arms.

Let nothing keep thee from that hallowed intercourse, which is the choice privilege of a soul wedded to THE WELL-BELOVED. Be not content with an interview now and then, but seek always to retain His company, for only in His presence hast thou either comfort or safety. Jesus should not be unto us a friend who calls upon us now and then, but one with whom we walk evermore.

Thou hast a difficult road before thee: see, O traveller to heaven, that thou go not without thy guide. Thou hast to pass through the fiery furnace; enter it not unless, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, thou hast the Son of God to be thy companion. Thou hast to storm the Jericho of thine own corruptions: attempt not the warfare until, like Joshua, thou hast seen the Captain of the Lord’s host, with His sword drawn in His hand.

Thou art to meet the Esau of thy many temptations: meet him not until at Jabbok’s brook thou hast laid hold upon the angel, and prevailed.

In every case, in every condition, thou wilt need Jesus; but most of all, when the iron gates of death shall open to thee. Keep thou close to thy soul’s Husband, lean thy head upon His bosom, ask to be refreshed with the spiced wine of His pomegranate, and thou shalt be found of Him at the last, without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing.

Seeing thou hast lived with Him, and lived in Him here, thou shalt abide with Him for ever.

Beloved, is Jesus so lovely as depicted here? Have you encountered Him in His lovely nature? Beloved that is more reason you must pray today and receive answers from above as you experience this lovely Jesus as He is surely is

Someone is asking I am yet to see the ‘lovely’ associated with Jesus. Well I am glad to let you have a glimpse of Him as written in 1John 1:16 – Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us. Jesus laid His life for us. Who else can do it you? Only Jesus can do it. His death guarantee eternal life to all who believe.

There is a second part to the verse above – and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Do you still remember our discussion yesterday? Thou shall love your neighbor. Is command.

Read verse 17 and 18- But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:17-18 )(KJV)

Good works is one of the ways Christ told us that we are going to encounter Him. Are you ready to do it? Love not only in words nor in tongue; but in deed and in truth and as you pray, and God will manifest Himself to you.

Father, arise and make Name for Yourself. Be God indeed unto us even as we pray thee this day in Jesus Name.

Pray and receive answers in Jesus Name. May you encounter Jesus in all His lovely apparel and be healed in Jesus Name. O! have you forgotten that the woman with the issue of blood touched His garment and was made whole. Don’t be left out.

Beloved call on Jesus and All will be well. Abide in Him and you will dwell securely. He will cover you with shadow of His wings and manifest His glory in your life.

Let us conclude with this song- Jesus Name so sweet; Emmanuel’s Name so kind 2x. Come let’s talk-talk about Jesus, Jesus Name so sweet, come, let’s talk-talk about Jesus, Jesus Name so kind.

Remain blessed in the Lord
